Best. Haircut. Ever.
I called ahead and they had me in a chair within 5 minutes of my arrival. I was a little apprehensive because the girl they gave me was younger and her hair was not as long as mine. (In my experience, if you have long hair you want someone with long hair to cut yours. They get it.) I told Rosa what I wanted and I don’t know what she did but the shaping on this cut is amazing! I only want her to cut my hair from now on. I had never met her before she cut my hair, BTW. This is a legit review.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but this time it feels necessary. Backstory: I’m older, recently widowed, depressed. Needed a haircut and hadn’t had one in over a month.
I entered the salon, wearing an old dress so nothing prickly got into a nicer one. The proprietress who greeted me acted like I was begging. I told her I needed a haircut; she told me, «You know, it costs$ 18,» as though I would leave if I thought I’d have to pay. Then she had me sit for a few minutes for the next haircutter.
The wait wasn’t long. The girl who ended up cutting my hair smiled widely, sat me down, and wanted to know what I needed. I showed her a photo on my phone of myself with the most recent haircut. She looked and looked but couldn’t figure it out. It’s very short but not complicated.
Eventually, she started cutting and did very little before stopping and asking if it was short enough. It wasn’t, and it was uneven.
She had not spoken to me the whole time and still didn’t. I showed her the picture again and described as clearly as possible what I needed done. She cut a little more, used the clippers at my request, and wanted to be done. Still needed to be more even and shorter.
She obviously couldn’t stand being near me. It was grueling, making her do her job every few minutes. When I finally allowed her to be done, it was still uneven, but I thought maybe I could go somewhere else in a few days and have it repaired. She handed me a mirror and went straight to the register. Didn’t brush the hair off my face. Removed the cover-​up thing and just took off. Came back to see why I hadn’t left the chair yet. I was trying to brush the bits of hair off my face and neck and was getting my money out.
Needless to say, I’m never going back there. The price was right, but you’d have to pay me to put up with the unkindness and unwelcoming attitude I met with when I went there.

The owner of the Palm Desert Supercuts salon at the Desert Crossing shopping center, the one reviewed above by me, contacted me and apologized profusely for the unpleasantness I encountered while there. She talked to me for quite some time, then persuaded me to come back and she would make it right.
The person who gave me such a difficult experience the first time has been reprimanded and retrained. The haircutter who went in and repaired the unevenness and did a little extra styling and some more of the services expected as part of salon experience was pleasant, talkative, and skilled at her job. She refused a tip because of the nature of my visit.
My hair today looks better than it ever has in my life and I plan to make this salon my home haircutter. Thank you, Ladies, for a wonderful, attentive, caring attitude. This reaction to a Unilocal review is what makes businesses great.

Stopped in without appointment and was immediately seen by Gabby, explained what I wanted and she did a fantastic job, great cut/​shampoo & conversation. Price was reasonable and I will be back!

I thought I would give Supercuts another try. I get what I deserve. Don’t recall the young womans name, but she is super sweet. Wanted Aline with layers and longer in the front. Walked out with super short hair to my chin and feeling horrible about myself. Lesson learned. Price was good… but not what I was wanting in a hairstyle. Sadly, this is the 3^rd time Supercuts has done me wrong. =(

Came here couple days ago to get a haircut. I forgot the barber’s name but she did a good job. I dont really like Supercuts very much and id rather go to small salons than support big chains but this supercuts location wasn’t bad. Its also little overpriced compared to other supercuts locations.

I dont know why I come here and pay $ 18 for my sons hair when I can Pay $ 10 some other places. And its because I love how they do my sons hair! Its exactly what they want. They have never messed up and my sons come out satisfied with how their hair looks like. Girls are awesome!

I have gone to allot of Hair Salons here in the Cochella Valley; when I came here and Sandra took care of my hair, she did and does a GREAT! job. I cant stress enough.
I have long thick hair and it is not easy to cut. She knows exactly how to cut my type of hair. It is really easy to recognize quality and she has it.
My husband and I appreciate her and Supercuts; thank you!

The only issue I have with this location is the Sunday late start. They open at 11AM! But they don’t deserve a star less just because of that, of course. Especially because they are very friendly & courteous here. I like the ambiance & energy level, in comparison with other SuperCuts. Lidia was a great stylist and made me feel quite comfortable there, esp. because there was a real happy ending … I was really happy with the nice hair cut (what did you think I was talking about? Lol).

Alexis was great. Needed someone to fix a bad cut from another salon. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. I can’t thank her enough.

Though I just needed a pretty basic trim, I really can’t say that the experience was particularly good at all. While Vanessa was certainly pleasant, both the haircut and shampoo felt rushed from start to finish. There was minimal attention to detail and I shouldn’t have had to interject about making sure the trim on the sides was even. For $ 18, this was worth around half that amount at most.
The cut’s passable albeit sloppy. If you’re looking for a quality cut, look elsewhere.

Quick and easy. I went in to get my hair cut to donate and they cut it off and then gave me a quick shaping. In and out in twenty min, and no charge if donating hair!

Denise is fabulous and cuts my hair the same way every time. She is very pleasant and I suggest you make a phone appointment (extra 2 bucks) but it’s worth it.

Denise (the manager) is fantastic. I’ve left higher priced salons to get my hair cut with her. Denise manages to actually do the same cut every time whereas other places it seems to be hit or miss. I’ve even started getting my highlights done there too and get lots of compliments on my color. Nobody believes me when I say I go to Supercuts! I have shoulder length, very fine hair that is difficult to cut and style but she does a great job every time.

We love Sandra from Supercuts. She is awesome. The price is like $ 25 bucks and this is a shampoo cut but not blow dry and style.

Great place to get your hair done. Professional, pleasant and one can walk in without an appointment.
During peak hours or in season, you may have to wait up to 20 minutes for a cut and style. Save some time and call in to ask what the wait time will be.
Save more and invest $ 2 on scheduling an appointment. The stylist are are all great (but you can ask for Sandra or Vanessa). Most of the stylist work in the La Quinta or the Palm Desert location, so you have some flexibility in where you can go to get your hair did.
Weekday mornings are the best time to come if you dont want to wait.
I go in every few months for a color and hair cut and have always been extremely happy with the finished product. I do notice that most people leave the place feeling very satisfied with their haircut.
