This place is a gem! So old school it’s just perfect. Aqua pleather counter stools. Hot sauce on all the tables. Fast, friendly service. The pancakes are incredible. Get them! We got plain and blueberry. They’re super thin and light. A dollop of whipped butter on top and plenty of maple syrup on the side. The hash browns are also a 10. They cooked to perfection. Be sure to get a side order because everyone is going to want some. The huevos rancheros were the only disappointment. They were eggs on a tortilla with salsa. Very sad. Where’s the beans? Avocado? Cheese? You know. All the good stuff. The pancakes were so off the charts amazing and the atmosphere is so great this place should be a regular spot for breakfast connoisseur.

My first impression-wow, is this place crowded. I called in my order as I had read it is always busy. I ordered the breakfast burrito which consisted of eggs, cheese and meat(bacon was my choice). The burrito was good, but the salsa could use some work. The hashbrowns were cooked just right and the portion size was just enough. I will try to come back to dine in when it is a little less crowded.

Great breakfast joint where the locals hang! Went twice while in Palm Desert. It was kind of a cold day so I had lentil soup which was delicious! We had great service at the counter.

As a local, I would never eat here. I sat at the counter and watched them microwave EVERYSINGLEDISH, and I mean everything, including a plate of eggs, bacon and toast, even the pancakes were microwaved. It made me wonder WHY are they microwaving each dish, is it because the food it not up to the correct and safe temp? I tried the hamburger, pancakes, and french toast. Every dish was horrible! If you are from out of town and just love it, enjoy, as a local, no way!

YUM! Incredible pancakes, so light and airy with a little chew to them. The Veggie Omelet was superb, my only complaint the square of American cheese on top. Our server gladly substituted refried beans for the hash browns and corn tortillas for the toast. With a side of salsa? SCORE!!! Keedy’s is the quintessential diner.

Do you like greasy diners? Fan of a big burger, lots of fries, all day breakfast? Then look no further in Palm Desert. We came here for a quick and easy lunch. The food was just as you would expect from a diner. Fast, filling, nothing surprising. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast and friendly. My kids were happy. The cheesesteak filled my gullet and satisfied as only a Cheesesteak can. Next time, I will try a shake. Dang, they looked good.

We had the most delicious breakfast at Keedys The waffle was so yummy we ordered a second one to share. The staff was so friendly. Franco was our waiter and we liked him so much we took a picture with him. I will definitely be back. Thanks Keedys

The staff was very overwhelmed when I went in. I waited about 15 minutes to be sat and I did not see a single staff member crack a smile or seem the bit least interested during my stay. The expo dropped off the food like a drive-by and I didn’t see another staff member until they came to drop off my check. The food was good, but I did not feel at home as other Unilocaler’s have felt.

Not a local? Or… Have taste buds? Definitely skip this place. The food is not good and the service is very«turn and burn». We came as a group of four on the advice of a local who said that this was the best french toast in the valley. Me thinks not. I asked for an omelet with just cheese, salsa and avocado. I received an omelet with bacon, cheese and salsa. Since I don’t eat swine, I sent it back and about three minutes later got an omelet that had the right ingredients but had American cheese in it rather that cheddar cheese. Yuck. I was never even offered a choice of cheeses. Had that happened, I would have ordered anything but American. My dining companions had similar thoughts to what I did. One did order the French toast and when I asked him what he thought, he said«meh.» Overall the food was of terrible quality(bacon was very very thin, orange juice was just Minute Maid for $ 3), the service was lackluster, and there was nothing remarkable about this place that would earn a 4-star rating. I won’t be back.

I decided to try this spot when I was in Rancho Mirage this weekend thinking it was gonna be a great local spot, boy was I ever wrong. Great service but its probably the worst breakfast I’ve ever had as far as food goes in RM. I ordered Eggs Benedict w/hash browns and an order of French toast. Paid $ 18 didnt even eat it after 2 bites. It was very bitter and French toast was rubbery. Oh well, try at your own risk. That’s what I did and wasted $ 18

Hands down the best breakfast spot in California. Their pancakes are unreal and rest of the menu is legit. Always buzzing in here and always damn good… the best!

This is their 55th anniversary so they must be doing something right. Pretty good breakfast. My husband had the famous pancakes-which are very thin and tasty. It came with bacon which was ok-nothing spectacular. I had the Huevos Mexicana-eggs scrambled with green pepper, onion and a bit of tomato. It came with corn or flour tortillas. It was very good-especially after adding their spicy salsa! Wait staff work hard and move food quickly. Outdoor seating was plain but nice. Overall, very good experience. I’d go back.

Could be a new regular spot! Never do I order pancakes out because I was spoiled growing up. However … my husband ordered pancakes and when his eyes lit up and said«you have GOT to try these… they are like yours!» I was amazed. Yep, good old thin buttermilk pancakes. A short wait but worth it. Love the décor with formica tables. Poached eggs cooked to perfection, friendly attentive staff. Makes for that perfect combination. Enjoy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Came on Sunday very busy sat in a couple minutes very rushed to get out order before we even looked at the menu. I get it turn and burn when your this busy But since we’ve never been here before I really wanted to look at the menu. Finally after waiting for 5 minutes or so I stopped a server snd asked him if he could take our order He did Food comes server says this is all the well done hash browns we have? So did I only get a half order? Well bacon was marginal actually not really that good cold. All in All an ok breakfast. There are way better places though

Went here with a group, about 7 of us. There was wait which is typical though. It’s a very small restaurant and it’s always busy! And it is quite small. The food comes out quickly, the food is always good, it’s a very fast paced breakfast spot, the price and quality are fair. They have inside and a partial outside area. The outside area can get a bit warm, they only have ceiling fans. Great place to get breakfast with the girls!
