Great mani/​pedi by Jimmy. Highly recommend this small shop! Very friendly and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back next time I am in Palm Desert.

I bite my nails and they are not pretty at all. I usually get nagged by the person doing my nails that I need to stop. This was a totally different experience. The gentleman doing my nails carefully took his time in shaping them. Then he added and extra coat to keep them strong and he was extremely pleasant. I am from Las Vegas but I lived here I would definitely be going back to him. It was wonderful. And my nails look great even though they are very short!

Love this little shop! Vincent and Rose did an excellent mani/​pedi the night before my vacation to Paris :) The gel nails lasted throughout my trip. Overall a very happy customer! I will be returning soon.

I got pink and white acrylic they are close to perfect. I think it’s a husband wife team they are very nice and speak pretty good English which I appreciate. I only said 4 stars because it’s just them so there was s little waiting between people. They work very hard and I appreciate that too.

Visiting town and came here today for gel mani and pedi with the kids. They did a great job and were super friendly! It’s clean and reasonable priced too – gel mani and pedi are $ 30 each. They offered us tea and cookies too.

Stopped in to this place because I needed an emergency pedicure before the wedding I was in town for. Based on the great Unilocal reviews I figured it was a safe bet.
The 2 stars I will give is for the pedicure. No qualms there. Good quality and nice spa chairs But the gel manicure is probably one of the worst I have ever gotten in my life.
I specifically asked before starting the mani if the had the matte gel top coat. The guy said they did so great, off we go. Then it comes to the point when they use the alcohol to cure it and my nails still look shiny. So I check on the matte top coat again. The guy goes «oh I have to buff out the shininess». Excuse me what. I’ve gotten many a gel mani and know that is not how it works. Turns out they forgot about the matte top coat.
So, they buff off the top coat already there and apply the matte top coat. I’m already dubious about this but they already started. They finish and it looks just awful. You can see the texture of the buffed gel underneath, and the edges of some are still shiny because the whole application process was incorrect.
He offers to apply another coat of the matte, by at this point I’m just upset and annoyed. This prompts me to closely look at my mani and the polish is also on my cuticles/​under my fingers. The only way to really fix it is to start all over, which I unfortunately did not have time for. He offers me a $ 7 (seven!) discount, which is not much considering I’m going to have to get this completely redone in LA. Needless to say I left without tipping.
Honestly, they seem nice enough and the facilities are great, so 1 star would be harsh. But they really need to step up their knowledge of gel manicures or not offer anything other than a normal mani.

My mom and I had a great experience here last weekend during our vacation! I had read great reviews, so I made an appointment with Jimmy for a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was excellent! I’ve always had a hard time when they scrub my feet due to being very ticklish. Jimmy had an amazing touch, I didn’t even flinch and one of the best massages I’ve received at a nail salon. He did a great job on my toes and was very caring.
Unfortunately, my gel manicure only lasted about four days which was sad given the extra money spent on gel, but this is typically due to the fact that I am an esthetician and my hands are in water all day. it’s very hard for me to get a manicure that lasts, but again Jimmy really took his time to make everything perfect.
Vincent and Rose were excellent with my mother, she said it was the best nail experience she had ever had. They helped her with some advice on the condition of her skin. One thing I really love about Nails Today is they do not destroy your nails like some nail salons. They do not remove healthy cuticles and everything is clean and sanitary. We wish we lived closer so we could come back! They are almost worth the 3 hour roundtrip drive!

We were from out of town and found through Unilocal nothing but positive things to say. Vincent, Rose, and Jimmie took care of us and they were amazing. Next time in Palm springs… Coming back for a little foot love.

I been coming to Vincent and Rose for over 18 years and they are the Best at their craft! I would NEVER go anywhere else to get my nails done. They are very professional, nice Clean salon and beautiful people.

I agree with everyone – Jimmy is the greatest. I will come back every time I’m in town.

Rose amd Jimmy were so careful and took excellent care of us. Fantastic experience. The salon was very clean and sanitary and they went above and beyond. Great, honest people.

I have recently been searching for the perfect nail salon in the desert, I think I might have found it. Most local salons are overpriced, low quality and often have awkward customer service. Nails Today was so kind and very detail oriented! I went in for a quick fill and my nails came out looking much better than the original set. Jimmy did an amazing job on the shape, my acrylics look very natural and slender. Not only did he do an amazing job but he was also very kind and conversational. I will definitely be returning!

Going in for my second time today since the first time was amazing! The nail art was perfect and I was very happy with the result. This is my go to nail salon in the valley. Great prices and customer service as well. Keep it up! :)

The folks that gave this place 5 starts must have poor vision and couldn’t see their nails after they were done. There is no other explanation.
2 stars because the man that did my nails was friendly, but outside of that literally the worst mani I have ever received.
After coaching the man several times to correct missed places, gharly cuticles and smudged polish, I realized it was a lost cause and decided to sit there and listen to him talk about football while I tried to ignore looking at my nails.
I’m debating getting nail polish remover out and I just left the «salon» 20 minutes ago. And at $ 15 a pop for a mani, I would definitely pass!

I would give this nail salon 100 stars if I could. Vincent, Jimmy, and Rose are the most friendliest people! They are very kind and always treat you with respect. Now I know this review is not only about that, so I will tell you about the job itself. When I walk out of the salon, my nails are PERFECT. They do not rush; they make sure your nails are exactly the way you want them. Plus, my shellac manicure lasts over 3 weeks. I would recommend Nails Today to anyone that lives in the area, or is just looking for a nail salon nearby. I have been to other salons in the area, and I have to say, nobody does my nails like Nails Today.

Great place! Amazing customer service and attention to detail. I, like so many others, read the reviews and decided to come here. In town on vacation and so glad I did. My nails look amazing. Rose took her time and I did not feel rushed even though there were people waiting. I would make an appointment if coming on a busy day though.

$ 25 for a pedicure and the foot massage was only 10 minutes! Also, he was digging into the left corner of my great toe, and now a week later it’s tender and sore. Not a positive experience, also polish was all over the skin area around the great toes. Go somewhere else!

Random visit while staying at a nearby resort. I got a pedicure and got a set of fake nails done. I gatta first admit that it didn’t turn out exactly like I wanted, but it had its own charms and was generally along the lines. With that settled, I did enjoy the service very much. Jimmy was very gentle with everything and Vincent did everything he can to accommodate for the exact shade of airbrush color that I wanted. Jimmy did go a little crazy with the glue, it was everywhere, but he did somewhat salvage it and the rest was nothing a bit of natural skin shedding couldn’t tare care of lol.
All in all, I had a good relaxing time, foot massage was great, and I would definitely recommend others to come. I’m a sucker for nice people.

There were 3 of us girls there for mani/​pedi. I would have given 4 stars but one of us had a lesser experience. One of the technitions shared his time between two clients. Other than that we had a great time and the services were great.

Went in today with my roommate and had a great experience! We didn’t even make an appointment and they took us both right away. Both of the men were so friendly and chatted with us the entire time. The price was EXCELLENT! Cheapest place out of the 10 or so stores we called.
Such a great and comfortable environment to be in. Definitely best place in the desert!
