I have been a long time customer at Torrid, however, over the past few years I have seen the quality of their product decline and the prices go up. I would always get my leggings from Torrid and didn’t mind paying more than most places because they were thick and the styles were super cute! Unfortunately the leggings they sell now, while still cute, are see thru, thin and don’t last. Yet the prices have skyrocketed. Any attempts to reach Torrid with my complaints/concerns have been fruitless. The website must have been down or they had issues, I dont know, but it’s only been recently that I was actually able to get their attention. They asked me to leave a review for my recent purchase, which I did. I was then informed(almost 2 weeks later) that my review would not be included on their website because it didn’t meet their«requirements». Oh so they only allow positive comments then, huh? Well isn’t that interesting? And MISLEADING!!! It really a bummer that this is the road they have taken. And I agree with others here, the prices are WAY overpriced for what you’re getting in quality, be it leggings or any other item you buy. Just beware and don’t allow yourself to get sucked in to the cute styles, because that cute shirt you just paid 3 times more for at Torrid will be in the trash can in half the time had you purchased something similar somewhere else. :(

I love Torrid. The girls there are always helpful, some even know me by my name witch is always nice. I always find something nice to wear. They even help me pick something if I ask and make sure I don’t need any other size or color while I’m in the dressing room.

I used to love shopping at torrid until I was discriminated against. I don’t ever plan on shopping here again. Worst employees and managers!

Not great. Product: Good: great style, comfort, and fits. Bad: very over-priced, cheaply made. Service: Good:kind, helpful Bad: poor organization & labeling of products, 4 dressing rooms and they only use 3 because disorganized, 2 cash registers but only use 1, long waits, long lines,(I almost walked-out because the product + price + long wait is not worth it). I would have bought more if the lines weren’t so horrible. I probably won’t go back since there are now more plus-size options in the desert.

love the store. but came in on two days, one after the other to try on more stuff. first day, both girls working there were very rude and giving dirty looks to my sister who is tiny. sis helped me alot trying on things, way more then anyone working there. she even hung back up all of my clothes on hangers while i was rushing. when sis told the girl she did that and sorry for any mess we left, the girl replied, oh, that’s ok. really? how about aw, thank you! or, oh im sorry that’s not your job but thank you very much! im sorry but if you are working in a mall, your job is to suck up and be nice to EVERYone. def not feeling the love. today went in with my mom, shes also tiny and the one girl was even ruder to her. almost barked at her twice, «ID?» when she used her credit card. really, who asks for that. she was mad because mom talked me into only getting one item and not two(she was right) at the cash. so she just got even more scary after that. i was like srsly you are almost yelling after mom said«pardon» innocently– as we were talking. cant stress enough how sweet my sis and mom are, you just cant be mean to them. but they are very pretty. they deal with this treatment a lot, just seemed more frustrating as it was a specialty plus size store and it’s not fair to act the way they did. also earlier today when i went in to try on bras(nightmare) i asked for help and got barely any. i was very nice, and gave them business twice in a week. the two girls spent the entire time i was there(maybe 30 mins) trying to hang something up on the wall, standing on a ladder. the bra stations were hard to get to, moved aside for the ladder. i dont know, i was going in hoping for more help so i didn’t have to get dressed every time i tried a few on and had to come out for more. I was just disappointed cause the girls at my san jose location are adorable and so friendly. these girls were miserable and rude, and i’m not impressed at all. someone should talk to them about not being rude to slimmer people. i am plus sized and i know my sister couldnt gain weight if she tried, so why be weird to her? she gets more flack for being skinny then i ever have for being slightly overweight. she’s nice and would never treat a plus size girl differently. not sure i want to come back.

This is by far my fave Torrid store, including the one in San Jose, near my house! The girls here are AWESOME! Yesterday, I went in, in search of a specifc dress I saw online. No other stores had it. I was kinda disapointed and tried on a BUNCH of other stuff, to see if I could find something similar. I was about to leave nearly empty handed(I bought a cute belt :)). I told the girls at the counter what I was looking for and while I was talking to one of them, the other was online, searching, found it in their inventory and found the dress I was seeking, hidden between some other stuff. It was a size larger than I need, but still worked! I’m so excited to find it and the girls at the store really went above and beyond. Everyone I’ve met there is super helpful. I kinda feel bad I didn’t get anyone’s names, so I have to refer to them as ‘the girls’. Cheers!

Katie rocks!!! She appeared to be the only person in the store, or atleast the only one on the floor&she still handled the entire store like a real pro. Katie provided me with wonderful service.
