Veronica is now styling hair at Keller Penthouse 21 Salon 73 725 El Paseo Dr. Palm Desert, Ca. 92 260 (upstairs suite above Thai Smile/​Mama Gina“s. The salon is beautiful and you will love the 5 star treatment you receive.

I found Veronica through Unilocal,so I thought I owed it to the Unilocal community to give my review.
Let me start by saying that she is very nice, and she took my son without an appointment. I was grateful that she made time for him. He is ten, and was in desperate need of a haircut.
I didn’t think to ask her price because she was given two $ on Unilocal,and it was a walk-​in welcome place. I figured how much could a kid’s haircut cost? Well, let me tell you that when she was finished and I asked what I owed her, I nearly fell flat on the floor at her response, «$ 45.00»
For a kid’s haircut? I paid it, plus tip, and walked out feeling quite stupid. Perhaps it is my fault for assuming it would be a reasonable price, but what exactly does $$ mean on Unilocal?My advice, know before you go.
And, I found her across the street from this address at Shear Hair Design.

I tracked Veronica down at Shear Hair Design at 73 896 El Paseo, just across the street from her listed address. Lots of parking in the lot right behind the shop.
I came in without an appointment and was greeted by Alma the salon owner with a welcoming hello and was introduced to Veronica.
Even though Veronica was just about to finish for the day she was happy to accomodate me and after 8 – 10 minutes sat me in her chair with a smile and asked what I was looking for and listened intently. Veronica is absolutely charming and wonderfully genuine. In a matter of minutes we were into a terrific hair cut and an enjoyable conversation.
50 minutes later I walked out of the salon looking and feeling great. The cut was exactly what I wanted and the price more than fair. I have been looking for a good stylist for some time and have found her. I will definitely be back… often!

After reading fellow Unilocalers expressing accolades regarding Veronica’s abilities, I just HAD to call her and make that appointment!
Needless to say, she was Ah-​mazing!!! She gave me the most beautiful haircut and style that I have ever had in my life! Truly. My hair is so versatile now and full of body!
As soon as I got home my mother (who is a cosmetologist) exclaimed, «Your hair looks soooo great!» She then proceeded to play with my hair trying to figure out how Veronica got it to look so amazing! :)
Not only is she a extremely talented hair artist, she is a beautiful person. I could tell right away. Beautiful from the inside out. Every time I am in Palm Desert, she is the only one allowed to touch my hair! :)

Veronica did my keratin complex treatment a couple weeks ago. I just had to add this update to my review. The sole purpose was to minimize my «getting Ready Time» for my get-​a-​way weekend to Vegas. I just got back yesterday I can do my hair in 10 min. PLUS OMG people it completely relieved my H2O phobia. Went to the pool, frizz free; walked by the misters, didn’t duck for cover, went to a club where bubbles were falling from the roof. And my beautiful hair stayed as beautiful as it did when I walked in.

Best haircuts ever!
Veronica’s salon is the best I’ve ever been in. Rather than the rushed, impersonal environment of most salons, Veronica takes her time to make sure you’re getting the haircut you want that will make you feel and look great! She makes you feel like more than just another customer.

Somehow, Veronica’s pink walls manage to embrace clients of every variety in a way that could only be described as fluid – probably moreso than their pepto counterpart.
