Too much to even explain. Everything was wrong besides the cheese pizza,(Keep in mind that it was a large order). Won’t be coming back. Gave an extra star for the nice delivery guy.

I’ve been getting pizza here for years. The staff isn’t the friendliest at times but I come for the pizza and I usually take it to go. I only get the grandmas pizza cooked crispy and it’s the best. They make it exactly the way I like it. The regular slices are ok. Nothing impressive.

Horrible, did everyone hear that??? We have given this place MULTIPLE and I mean… MULTIPLE chances to redeem themselves to no avail! We have been loyal customers for a long period of time giving them our hard earned money and yet AGAIN. even after I stopped having the food delivered to my home and have been inconvenienced multiple times by choosing to pick up vs. Delivery my mozzarella sticks are STILL cold!!! Living within 1 mile of the restaurant I STILLCAN’T get HOT food! I’m fully disgusted and we have decided. Regardless if we are a fan of your pizza. Your food comes cold which is… UNACCEPTABLE!!! We are. ALLSET! Gino. Sorry! But you lost great customers and NOMOREREFERRALS!

Okay I was skeptical because a lot of the reviews weren’t good but sounded like most were service related so I took the pizza plunge. And it was quite worth it. I had the number 2 white pizza(no red sauce duh hence the name;) Sautéed garlic, lots of creamy ricotta, a nice chewy amount of mozzarella, tons of spinach, fresh tomatoes and I had them add feta for a nice salty note. Quality toppings came together nicely. I asked for the crust well done so it was a good combo of thinner crust as the base with a thicker chewier ring of crust around the edge. All in all a good pizza. I would agree with another reviewer they could add a pinch more salt to their dough but the feta took care of most of my salt desire. Too be fair I didn’t dine in so can’t really speak to the service but the check out and cal in experience was fine. I’d vote for picking up a nice pizza here if it’s near you.

Unfortunately very disappointed with our meal. We ordered delivery of Grandma’s pizza and the spinach salad. The delivery took over just a hour, they did let us know 45 – 60 min. But the pizza was cold and the bottom burned. They tomatoes tasted like canned, gross texture. The spinach salad was literally just thrown in box, not tossed or layered. Save your money on this one and get hot pizza from a chain.

Based on the reviews we were a bit hesitant to try out this place, but it was late, we had a bad pizza craving and it was the closest pizza around. I agree with the other reviews, service is lacking. Severely so. No one looks even remotely excited to be there. Lasty, their pizza is a bit on the pricier side. However… The pizza though, I LOVE. I don’t like the thin crust chewy pizzas, I love my crust a bit crunchy and this one was perfect. We got grandma’s pizza which is kind of like a margherita pizza. Tomato sauce, mozarella, basil. I wouldn’t eat here, but I would definitely get some pizza to go.

We arrived early on a Friday evening. A young man greeted us and we were promptly seated snd drink order taken. Daughter’s Pinot Grigio was bad. Tasted like a bottle that had been open in s refrigerator. She had the Tortilini Con Spinchi with came with a salad and garlic rolls. She daid it was mediocre and way to garlicky. Hubby & I shared a Stromboli and Italian salad. One can choose 2 ingredients for the storm. We chose Italian sausage & mushrooms. I was disappointed! The mushrooms were canned but plentiful… little sausage inside the crust. By the time we left(approx 6;30) the place was packed and people were waiting to PU pizzas.

Yikes! What a mess! Not so nice waitstaff or hostess(they could care less) — we asked the hostess if she could at least smile. So she shot us a Garfield smile. Gee thanks! If you like horrible service, not well cooked food. I ordered the Mussels and they were all closed(not a good sign). Served us without cutlery — so how was I suppose to eat them? My husband ordered the meat ball sandwich — looked thrown together and tasted terrible. The meatballs were cold and there was this huge hunk of something(couldn’t identify it) just starring back at me — saying, Please! Please! Don’t eat me! — So I didn’t! If you don’t really care much about what you eat — this might be just the perfect place for you. They don’t give a flying fig if you like it or not! They have a «Turn’em & Burn’em mentality.

We order delivery from this place at least once a week… Tonight we decided to change it up and take the kids out to the actual restaurant. When we got there there was probably 15 people working and not even one of them acknowledged our presence until a manager came from the back. Then he motioned for a guy from the other side of the place to help us and so he begrudgingly walked us to a table. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, no one ever came over. I had to go ask a girl to help us. When she came over, she was clearly aggravated. My little 2.5 year old girl sweetly said«can I have some pizza?»… The lady literally ignored her. Not even a change in her facial expression, an expression of «I’m annoyed to have to help you». This staff literally gives zero Fs about you or your experience. This person who sat us… I watched him walk out the back door, open the hood of a car, work on it, walk back in, and sit down to roll silverware. I was stunned. This place is gross, not only will we not be back, we will not be ordering delivery from there anymore either.

Gino’s is ok. It used to be good but the last couple of times I got food there is was very blah. They are quite overpriced too. Dominics Pizza in Safety Harbor is so much better. Its a bit of a drive but I go there to pick up real NY style pizza. I am from PA and that is the closest I have found to Pizza Up North!

I love Gino’s. Authentic NJ/NY pizza! Calzone’s great too. Best to order ahead for a pie. Interesting cold beverages too and Italian imported beer. The counter personnel are busy yet friendly, especially the young woman who I always find very personable. I recently noticed Gino’s has a second location in a strip shopping center off US19, just north of Walmart on the right side in Palm Harbor. Same delicious pizza and economical lunch specials. Management there is very friendly. I ask for fresh mushrooms on my pizza and I get it! So, I don’t understand a previous post who complained. Close your eyes, take a bite of a slice, you’ll think your in Jersey, but what exit? Ciao and keep up the great quality. Arrivederci: D

I used to love this place, now I’m done with it and won’t be back. Last time counter girl and cook are having huge argument and manager has to tell them if they don’t stop she’s sending them home. Now I stop in 45 minutes before closing and no slices. Not to mention the canned mushrooms and spinach. Poor.

I read the reviews which were mixed and thought we’d try it and see. The portions are HUGE! Food was very good! Staff was friendly and not at all rude or uninterested as some have stated. The dining area was clean. We enjoyed the food and went home full and happy. I had an amazing salad there and my family had pizza!!! I would go back for sure!

I’ve lived in Palm harbor a little over a year and have had the pizza from Ginos about 8 times now. If you order the round pizza you have a pretty good chance it will be ok, but the Sausage is just sliced still in the case. I have never had it like that before. And I can say I really don’t care for it at all. If you go with the ex, large square pizza well just don’t it is just like a little cecers pizza at 3 times the price. The crust is way to thick and the topping don’t even stick to the Bread I mean crust. I have switched to Queen pizza, seems to be the best in the area.

This place definitely does not have the best pizza but it’s the best pizza in the palm harbor area. Customer service is not too great but that won’t stop me from ordering pizza here, given that there is no place better. Delivery usually takes about 45 minutes which is not bad. I usually order a large thin pie lightly cooked. If I do not tell them to lightly cook it then the cheese comes out over cooked and by the time it arrives to my house the cheese is cold and too chewy. I really wished I can give this place five stars but it wouldn’t be fair. They need to up their customer service(we are not in NY).

If you like employees who seemingly don’t give a rat’s ass about your dining experience and halfway decent NY-style pizza, than this is the place for you. Nothing about this place will woo you, but if you live in Palm Harbor or Oldsmar, chances are that you will end up here at least once, especially if you’re a fan of New York Pizza. They have the market cornered in the area, unless you want to drive over to U.S. 19 and hit up LoBosco’s. I think they’ve got a decent product, but it’s missing something and I couldn’t put my finger on it. Maybe some salt in the dough? Different yeast-to-flour ratio? Not sure, but something was off. I’ve had the pizza here twice, and the first time it was room temperature. The owner of Repeal 18 brought some into the bar one night and I had a slice or two, and they tasted great. But hot and fresh in the pizzeria was unimpressive for some reason. I got a 16″ because their 18″ pies are for slices only. This wasn’t a huge deal because I was unable to take down the whole pie anyway. I heated up a slice in my toaster over later at night and it was really good. Better than when it was fresh. So the moral of the story here is to avoid eating their pizza when it’s fresh because it kind of sucks.

Upon walking in I felt like I had just walked onto the dirty pizza scented streets of New York City again! The lack of give a damn was everywhere. On the wall hung a cute diorama of New York that had it’s frame repainted along with everything inside as well. There was a shaker of pepper flakes with two flakes in it– the only one in the dining room. The salt and pepper caddies were covered in a veil of dust and curious grime. Now this is authentic! I’d had the pizza here before and it was good. I went with the mussels. Of course they were rubbery, fishy, and possibly micro waved but what do you expect? It’s not like they’re going to the market each morning for fresh mussels. They were swimming in a deep bowl of pesto garlic sauce with saw dust flavored parsley flakes added for pizzazz. I fished the mussels out and took the massive amount of pesto sauce home to slather onto my ashy elbows later that night. Can’t wait to head back to this place for that authentic New York feeling that screams«you’ll eat it, and like it, punk!»

Calling all Floridians. Gino’s NY Pizza is The Bomb. This is the best pizza in Florida. Yep that’s right. This place rocks. Thin slice sweet awesome sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese. It sounds so simple but few do it as well as Gino’s. I am so lucky to be so close to this place. Keep Rocking

Traveled outside my usual perimeter for dinner and ended up at Gino’s due to a friends recommendation. On this busy Friday night there was a definite left hand doesn’t quite know what right hand is doing vibe. However once our drinks arrived and were quickly followed by simple garden salads with a tasty vinaigrette(no dressing choice given) and mediocre garlic rolls things went smoothly. I had the best chicken Marsala I’ve ever put in my mouth. Delicious sauce with sliced mushrooms and chicken cutlets filled the plate. I had a side of pasta with their very flavorful house marinara. If I visit again I want my pasta in the Marsala sauce. It was that good. Gal at the check out counter was curt and unfriendly. I get it’s a busy Friday night but let’s just be nice, ok?
