I went here to watch some of the movies for the 2016 Palm Springs International Film Fest. The theater was clean, the service was friendly and there was sufficient parking. They have a small bar and menu if you want more than popcorn before the show.

We like the ambiance of being able to eat before or after the film. The food is above average with specials. Happy hour available.

Food was just so so. I love the theater, but not too thrilled on the upstairs dining option. It feels very temporary and makeshift as far as «ambiance», and the menu, while descriptive and enticing, kind of ends there. There are much better choices for food in the desert, but the Theater is great, and I love having an theater that shows art and Indie films nearby.

We stumbled upon this place due to a radio ad for dinner and a movie. Dirty Dancing was showing, so we were so there! I didn’t even know Camelot Theatres served food! The restaurant is located upstairs and small but totally cozy. Definitely unpretentious but not super casual either. We didn’t have our hopes up, because it was a prix fixe menu, only 15 dollars a head. The menu was adorable and offered 3 courses, ceasar or chicken soup, vegetable lasagna or an apple sage pork loin and raspberry cheesecake. Everything was spot on from service to food to bar options. I work in food and beverage and have very high expectations. They had a great wine list, and good beer offerings like kolschella and many IPA’s on draft. The food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bill was only 45 dollars and we had drinks! I would recommend. Chef Hector keep it up!

Just got food poisening from the chicken salad which comes out as a sandwiche. It was possibly the pasta salad. Not too happy.

We are out of towners and on our first night in Palm Springs, we decided to find a place that seemed to be a local favorite based on reviews. Camelot stood out. Food was terrific and our server was very friendly engaging. We were disappointed, however, by the smal portions for some of the dishes. We are not big eaters and didn’t expect this to be like Hometown Buffet, but most of our family came away not haven’t gotten enough. But we don’t hold this to harshly against these folks since it appears they position themselves as a place for happy hour appetizers. But in their Unilocal description, it appears that one should go their expecting a full meal, especially when they charge full dinner prices.

This place is great! Good quality food at a great price. I have met people upstairs many times for business meetings. It is an intimate space, but doesn’t feel small or crowded at all. The wait staff is helpful and the food is tasty. They put together nice plates of food for happy hour for a nice price to the pocket book. I would definitely recommend the Camelot.

We found this place via Unilocal reviews and I’m glad we did! The menu is surprisingly good with a wide variety of international appetizers and entrees including schnitzel! Happy hour prices are great, and the service is good. We even met the owner who gave us a free slice of homemade apple streudel, which was the best we’ve ever tasted! The owner truly cares about the food and his customers’ experience and it shows. We’ll definitely be back! One suggestion is to offer a selection of nice loose leaf teas, maybe serve afternoon tea.

Palm Springs’ Camelot is my favoritemovie theater in the desert. The Café and Cinebar is upstairs. I went with friends after a movie. Who knew? It’s like gourmet tappas bar with small plate menue filled with delicous treats. There were 3 of us and we had, a fish tacos, fish and chips, and small roast pork sandwhiches. We all raved about our food. For affordable delights before or after an indie film check it out. I think you will be well pleased.

Went to the Camelot’s Cinebar for Happy Hour on a Friday night before seeing a movie. There are twenty or so items on the happy hour menu for about $ 4 each. Then there was a separate specials menu with small plate running $ 4 — $ 5/each. These aren’t supermarket heat-and-eat appetizers. We were pleased to find freshly prepared small plates that were very good. An arugula salad with shredded Parmesan and a lemony olive oil dressing was terrific as were the shrimp tacos. The panko breaded sole was tasty with the home made tartar sauce. The individual pizzas were delicious … and crust from their own dough was very tasty. The bar tender seemed a bit overwhelmed with all the people that were there and she was a bit snippy. Customer service, in general, could improve overall here.
