Ok we are sort of hooked on the seafood buffet special All u can eat crab legs and shrimp my partner gets the beef rib eye and we leave happy and FULL Staff is pleasant everything else is what you expect to find on a hotel buffet we stick to the 2 proteins we like and a few tempura battered veggies or spring rolls and sometimes the fresh made Mongolian stir fry. Everything else is a little too salty and over cooked in the steam table It would be interesting to see a complete«made to order» buffet their salad bar was better but now just the basics.

Best prime rib roast I’ve had at a buffet!!! I made myself a prime rib dinner with what they had to offer. The prime rib was juicy and pink, the creamed spinach was good but a tad too salty. The garlic mashed potatoes were heaven! Real punch-in-the-face fresh garlic taste. They also had bacon mashed potatoes as well as pesto mashed potatoes. The gravy was great but a bit too salty. I came right when they opened for dinner so that may be why my prime rib was really moist and perfectly cooked. For $ 20, I was very happy.

I was a little skeptical when my brother said he wanted to go to a buffet in the middle of palm springs at a casino on a Saturday before attending Stagecoach music festival. The broski ranted and raved about this place since he had stayed at the casino/hotel before. Went for lunch on a Saturday for $ 14.99(closer to $ 17 after tax). You get 10% off if you sign up for the players club at the hotel but we were in a hurry and didn’t have time for that. Open seating and help your self beverage bar. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the flavorful options and the pretty extensive salad bar. I started off with a spinach salad with all the toppings. Progressed to lots of seafood options and what really caught my ear was the mashed potatoes: regular, garlic mash, pesto mash, and sweet potato. Yum! Don;t know if I would go back off the beaten path to eat here again but great healthy choices and the food was not bland.

Came here because we were going to a concert that they were putting on, and thought we’d stop in for a bite. They let us walk around and check out the food items, and although they looked pretty good, we did not enjoy it at all. The prime rib had no flavor, and I like mine pretty rare, but this was borderline raw. The shrimp(fried) tasted like it was frozen. The orange chicken was terrible, and the sign for the rice said«Sticky Rice» and it wasn’t, and I’m a sticky rice fanatic, so needless to say I was bummed. I tried all kinds of food and not one thing impressed me at all. For desert I tried the bread pudding, and that was ok. The only plus was the ice cream, and that’s probably just because it was Dreyers ice cream. I would not come here again even if it was $ 5 Buffett. You are better off going somewhere else. Not really even 2 stars, I’m just in a great mood right now, so they are benefiting from that!

Saw the mixed reviews on here and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, big mistake. I’ve eaten(much) better food in third world countries than whatever this slop they were painting over as food was. The salad was soggy, sloppy, complete with wilted lettuce, rubber onions, and moldy carrots that taste like eating the sole of a dirty shoe of a sewer inspector. Things only got worse when I moved on to the entrée items. The ribs were dried out and inedible. The chicken kabobs were sitting out for so long that they had become more of a chicken-jerky-on-a-stick experiment gone wrong. The egg rolls were hard as rocks and probably could have been used to break glass. I figured it couldn’t get any worse and decided to check out the desert line. Oh boy. The cake was akin to a Styrofoam model of a cake and had about as much flavor as eating a leather shoe. Cookies were stale and had as much flavor as a cookie one might purchase from a 7/11, although that’s insulting 7⁄11 quite a bit. This was some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my life and I wouldn’t go back here as a ghost to haunt the place. One would venture to think that a casino would invest more and take pride in what they serve but it is apparent that this one does not give a shit at all… Unless you enjoy eating leather shoes and Styrofoam I would avoid this place at all costs, there are far better options in Palm Springs. This place should be condemned by the health department asap!

Staying in Palm Springs this weekend and decided to go to the Spa Casino buffet. Honestly not worth 50.00 for two adult and was supposed to be seafood night. Well guess what there seafood selection was to a bare minimum. Small tiny crab legs. and cold shrimp and that was your seafood selection. WOW. I mentioned how we felt about the buffet to the server who was tending our table and she said that they went through some changes in management which were fairly new(about 2months) and so she said place your input online. Well here is my input and I hope you management people are reading this!!! Either lower your rates/prices or amp up your selection on the buffet. I mean come on seriously on the seafood night which was ridiculous. The only worth eating was the prime rib while everything else was mediocre. So anyone else planning on eating here should take a look at their buffet selection before dining which we should of done in the first place. It will save you a lot of money. Disappointing to say they could do better since after all its palm springs… meaning all this money in this town and you pay for an overpriced shitty buffet!!!

Went early for lunch. They open at 11:30. Most of hot foods were cool. Major yuk factor. Get 5 stars for Mongolian grill. Nice people. For $ 15/person, I’d go elsewhere for a sit down meal for that price.

Last week I asked the restaurant manager if I could see what food was on the Oasis buffet. He was very pleasant and invited me in for a look. I was SO hoping that I’d see some nice food, but nothing looked appealing. The Aguascalientes are in the process of renovating the casino and are developing a vision for their property. They are WONDERFUL people who make significant contributions to the Coachella Valley. Hopefully, they will have a vision for a wonderful buffet as well.

We were warned as we walked in by a guest that the casino was 21& up, which is understandable… but as we approached the buffet an employee RUDELY told us to exit immediately or security would come and escort us out. Now I understand a casino without a hotel, but people gotta eat. This after I called the buffet to ask if they were open for lunch(on Unilocal it said they were only open for dinner) which was confirmed, but nothing about not allowing anyone under 21. That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. If you don’t want underage people roaming through your casino, have a separate entrance for the buffet. What a waste of gas and time. Also if you’re going to approach customers, do it professionally. That guy who talked to us should get fired.

We were here today for Thanksgiving lunch. There was no sign out front and no notice on the website that there was a special cost that was more than double the regular non-holiday rate. The sign at the front indicated $ 14.99 for daily lunch buffet so I was shocked when the cashier asked for $ 70.00 for 2 people. Food was good but on the bland side. Sometimes I enjoy that anyway so it was fine with me. They had lots to choose from along with the typical holiday favorites. For the price, I had 3 glasses of Champagne and 2 plates of food. Wanted to get my moneys worth. Desert bar is awesome.

Don’t eat here unless you have to. Probably the worst tasting food I’ve ever eaten. Overcooked, dried out sitting on the steam table all day. Awful!

The worst casino buffet I have ever had. Shame on me for not taking advantage of one of the incredible places in this town.

Went with my wife to Palm Springs recently and decided on going to the Oasis Buffet. I went and found out that they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Asked a worker when they were going to be open. The worker said they would be open tomorrow morning which was a Thursday. Went back the next morning at 9:30 and they were closed and asked another worker at the same customer service center and he said they were open for lunch and dinner. I informed him what the other worker told us. he became very rude and said that we need to Open our eyes and look at the Hours that are posted. I informed him that I didn’t feel that I would be given the wrong information by one of your co worker. He then said that I was an adult and should be able to find out for myself. WILLNOTCOMEBACK.

For some reason I was craving Mongolian BBQ in Palm Springs, which is pretty much where you DON’T want to be. Well, unless you want to go to a buffet. Stuck with little choice on this matter to fulfill my Mongolian BBQ craving, out we went. The actual food selection is actually pretty diverse. You got your American, Chinese, Mexican, breakfast, carved meat, and(of course, what I came for) Mongolian BBQ sections. It’s just that none of this stuff is actually particularly good. Mongolian BBQ was fresh, but definitely have had much better elsewhere. Had some of the other stuff too, it was aight to me. Price was like $ 15, which is pretty much the max of what I would’ve shelled out. Anything more and that would’ve been a ripoff. I want to give credit to our waitress though, she was really nice and accommodating!

The food is not as good as I expected! So called Friday seafood Buffett doesn’t have much choices of seafood(only crab legs and shrimp). The taste just so so.

If you are familiar with the Grand Palms Buffet at Agua Caliente casino(nearby) then this buffet will also be very familiar. Because Spa Resort Casino is owned by Agua Caliente, they tend to have some of the same dishes at both casinos. I took off only one star because Agua Caliente’s buffet is slightly larger than Spa’s but the food is still just as good. The seating area is also quite smaller than Agua Caliente but I do find it to be less crowded than Agua Caliente(especially during Sunday brunch where you can sometimes wait up to an hour to be seated at Agua Caliente). This place is a plus if you don’t like kids running around with their food and playing with the ice cream machine because Spa is a 21-and-over crowd, since the hotel is not attached to the casino like Agua Caliente’s. If you have a Paradise Rewards Club card you get at least 10% or more(depending on which tier your card is). Staff is very friendly and on top of drinks and picking up dirty plates.

DONOTCOMEHEREFRIDAYNIGHT! Their website advertises a seafood buffet dinner but there was hardly any seafood. There were crab legs and two fish dishes. That is NOT a seafood buffet. The rest of the fare consisted of American and Mexican offerings. The best items this night were: Sole fillets in cream sauce– Fresh fillets of fish rolled and baked in a luscious cream sauce. I had 5 of them. Mash potatoes– Creamy and buttery in the best way. No lumps and no spuddy texture. Roast zucchini– Fresh zucchini roasted and drizzled with olive oil. Grapes– The grapes were super sweet. Some things about this buffet bother me. The carved roast beef tasted like beef jerky. The BBQ ribs were tough and over-drenched in BBQ sauce. The salad bar was small and sad looking, worst of all no field greens, redleaf or romaine lettuce. It was not worth the $ 25 per person price.

This buffet has a splash of everything; chalk full of many different choices. There is Chinese food, Japanese, Mexican and Italian food plus a Mongolian grill, carving station and a pasta bar. At least 16 flavors of Dreyer’s ice cream. My favorites were the carved, moist turkey and real mashed potatoes along with the pasta with clams and the fried chicken. And I could rave all day long about the desserts. The bread pudding was out of this world delicious! The staff were right on top of our dirty dishes. They never stopped moving; always busy trying to help people. There is a self-service drink station, but we never used it, our service lady always refilled our glasses for us. A must is trying their flavored water. They have a mango flavored water that is so refreshing and delicious!

No lie. one of the best buffets I’ve been to. Delicious food, great options, and tons of it! The staff is soo friendly, and funny! We had a great waitress by the name of Leona, I believe, and she was awesome. She would sing as she’s handing us our drinks, and since she saw a big party(9 people), she asked if it was for a birthday. Three birthdays it was haha. Towards the end of our lunch, she brought out this huge plate of cakes with 3 candles on it! All of the staff came over to sing happy birthday to everyone. What other buffets do that?! Also, for all the drinks we had, she brought out our own extra tall glass to refill for ourselves. They had Chinese food, Mexican food, the turkey(sooo juicy and moist), steak, American food, and Italian food. They also had the omelette guy. Everything I ate was super tasty. They had Dryer’s ice cream! :O. So many options, so many delicious flavors. Mm.
