Loved this place! It was walking distance from my hotel. I was very pleased with the prices. $ 7 for a large single origin coffee and a latte. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, unlike some other coffee houses which can be full of pretentious hipsters. Even if it’s driving distance from you make it a point to get your coffee from here, you won’t regret it.

Stumptown is my favorite from Portland. Ernest does it right. I don’t have a clue why management puts up with a snotty staff. Not everyone. Many are really — REALLY nice. However, a couple are so off-putting I go up the street or down the street if I see either are working. The couldn’t care more less about you coming in, enjoying the coffee — they barely acknowledge your presence. A-OK on the coffee — less then that on the staff/service.

Great coffee and excellent service! Got a dirty chai latte and a long shot(alcoholic drink). Next time we will go to the tiki lounge connected to it, which opens at 4 pm. Will definitely come back!

This place is awesome, and I haven’t even experienced it when the Tiki Bar is open. I did get to try their coffee and it is divine. Apparently they serve Stumptown coffee here, which I was unfamiliar with. We tried the black coffee(iced) and a vanilla latte. Both were so perfect and flavorful. I can’t wait to visit PS again and try some other options. Very cool vibe here… fresh oj mimosas looked very good as well.

This place gets bonus points for serving Stumptown coffee from Portland, OR. My wife and I use black coffee and iced mocha as a benchmark for how we evaluate places and this place serves one of the better iced mochas. Their black coffee is also very good, it is Stumptown so enough said. The only reason why they do not deserve 5 stars is due to their high prices. They are not ridiculously high but they are above average at $ 5 for an iced mocha. This is by far the best place in the desert for coffee.

Great little coffee shop to stumble upon. The vanilla latte was pretty good. I more enjoyed the vibe and décor in the shop.

Came by here on the way out of town for a decent coffee. The cappuccinos were very good. The place was cute, and the staff was attentive. They serve Stumptown, which isn’t my favorite, but it’s pretty good.

On my way from CA to Phoenix and need a Java jolt to get me through. Ernest coffee is on the edge of Palm Springs and easy to get to. I ordered an Americano, a nonfat latte, and an iced chai. The service was friendly and efficient. The bathroom was clean and accessible. The coffee was AMAZING! Clearly a barrister who knows her stuff. There’s also a cool little tiki bar stuck in back with glowing puffer fish lamps. I’ll give that place a shot on my next road trip.

We usually don’t like Stumptown coffee, but my barista son wants to check it out because of the high rating. Iced mocha, 2 iced latte were very good. The shop has a nice relaxing atmosphere & it was enjoyable just sitting there sipping your coffee. One odd thing though, sign on door says«21 and older only» for a coffee shop ? I think they also serve liquor, not sure when. There are serious liquor bottles on the wall(locked up) & lounge in the back of coffee shop. Anyhow, this place is certainly divey :)

If I could give 6 stars I would. These folks know how to make a bitchin’ latte. I hustled all the way from the Avalon on foot for an iced soy, only to discover that there is a Tiki bar in the back!!? WTH? A brilliant café with seriously good cocktails in the rear is few and far between. An oasis in the desert for sure. come for the caffeine, stay for the booze. xo

What a great experience! I’m from out of town, and I just popped into this place to get some coffee beans as a gift for a friend. I use a plain drip coffee machine, but my friend uses an espresso machine, so I asked the barista which coffee(Holler Mountain vs. Hairbender) would be better for them. She recommended the Hairbender, knowledgeably explained why, and then said«Tell you what, I’ll make you an espresso on the house so you can see for yourself.» Whaaaatttt… And then when I came to the counter to pay for the beans, she insisted I take another free coffee to go, as is their policy when you buy beans. Seriously, Whaaaaattt?! I’m guess I’m not used to such great customer service… She completely blew me away with her friendliness, efficiency, and knowledge of her product. And the coffee is delicious, btw… The space itself is bright, clean, and 21+ only… it’s a great place to work. Eclectic décor and clientele… They offer coffee, tea, fresh squeezed juice, beer, wine, and a variety of yummy looking pastries. Why would you go anywhere else? They turned my ok morning into a really great one… thanks Ernest! I’ll definitely be back!

I love stopping by this spot every time we’re in Palm Springs. The vibe is so cool and hipster but what makes this place great is their coffee is so good!

I’ve never been to a coffee shop that was 21+ but I totally get the concept. How many times have you went to a coffee shop with a friend and wanted to hang out and catch up on life but there are some kids talking way too loud and just being… kids? Ugh. Good job, Ernest Coffee. Also, good job on having booze cuz sometimes I don’t want coffee. I want a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa to wake up in the morning. I ordered coffee when we went, a latte to be exact, and it was made very well. They didn’t go overboard with the syrup so it didn’t taste like I was drinking a piece of candy. And, I was excited because they have almond milk. It’s the little things that get me excited. The service was ok. One girl seemed like she didn’t really want to be there but the other girl was ok.

Hands down the best espresso in Palm Springs. My wife and I are thoroughly addicted to this place. It’s not just the coffee that’s awesome, the pastries are amazing, and the staff is so friendly it’s crazy! Shout out to the cheese pastries. Shout out to royalty reward stampy-card thing. Shout out to Nicole and her microfoam, she is always so on point with her craft! Shout out to Darota and Elodie for always being so freaking cool! So there it is. Peep it. But wait check this out, there is a speakeasy type of a time bar hidden behind the coffee shop. It’s called Bootlegger Tiki. It opens at 4 and the coffee shop closes some time around 6.

Cool spot, friendly, great Stumptown coffee. Killer location just below our Airbnb and right on the strip in Palm Springs. Huge Windows facing east bring in ample morning sunshine and plenty of good vibes. I had a double-shot of Stumptown espresso before my wife and I embarked on a bike tour of the city. Creamy goodness. I asked for some bubbles(thinking that would come with the espresso) and the barista handed me a bottle of San Pellegrino on the house.

Stopped in here after breakfast at John’s because my gluten-free niece was in need of a carb loaded snack. What a very nice little coffee shop! We grabbed a couple of delicious coffees, a gluten free brownie and just say and enjoyed each other’s company for a little while. I wish I knew about this place earlier in the week as I would be here every day. One of the things I find very cool about Palm Springs is how pet — friendly so many businesses are… and Ernest’s is no exception. Don’t know of I’ll ever be here again, but if I am at least I know where to get a good cup-o-joe!

Recommended by our AirBnB hosts to give this place a shot for some good local coffee. It’s the front side of «Bootlegger Tiki», I’m assuming it’s the same owners because they do promote Bootlegger merchandise in their store. Cute little set up. Lots of reclaimed wood and nice looking tables and display cases. When you walk in, go to the right, not the left. It’s a little confusing at first. The cashier had to motion me over to the other side. They sell cute graphic tee’s and mugs. They are also proud brewers of Stumpton Coffee, based out of Portland. Luckily I had the pleasure of indulging in Stumpton when I was in Portland in January. A-OK in my books. So, why not the 5 stars? Insanely overpriced. I was shocked. 1 Small iced mocha, with just 1 pump of the mocha, and a coconut water to go: a cool $ 10.00 Sorry, I love supporting small businesses, but even I have my limits.

The walls painted as books on the inside is so dope. High bench seats with high stools mixes the vibe with standard seating inside and out. The line can get tricky because the ordering side of the coffee bar is a little small. Good Stumptown brews. Pastries are a little pricey but taste delicious.
