I have been going to Judy since we moved to Palm Desert in 1999 and I worked in Palm Springs within walking distance of her shop. For the past twelve years, I have worked in Palm Desert but still make the trek to Palm Springs for the best haircut in the desert.
Judy is super friendly and very involved in the community. Highly recommended!

I moved to Palm Springs a little over 1 year ago from Palm Desert. My barber was in Indian Wells which never proved a problem when living in Palm Desert. I wanted to find someone good in P. S. as I have multiple cowlicks and most hair «stylists» don’t have a clue when it comes to dealing with this issue. My neighbor recommended Judy. I took a chance and dropped in one day to see if she could fit me in. Next thing I know I was sitting down for a haircut. We hit it off right away. She is so friendly that you can’t help but feel you have known her for years. I explained my dilemma with finding a good barber to her and 20 – 25 minutes later walked out with one of the best haircuts ever. And I might add that she is always consistent. Several times since, when circumstances were such that I had to have someone else cut my hair I lived to regret it. I highly recommend J J’s Barber Shop.

Judy has been cutting my hair for over a year. I am always pleased with her service and her prices are very fair. The conversation is friendly and easy and her dog Zak is a terrific greeter. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled barber in Palm Springs.

Had a great experience, I don’t trust my Mohawk to just anyone (due to bad experiences), but Judy did an amazing job. Now I’m ready for the weekend…

Judy (JJ’s) has been my «go to» barber for over 15 years! I am always more than satisfied with the haircuts she has given me over the years. And the value added is she is engaging, friendly, and a great conversationalist. I always look forward to my scheduled visit with her. And on top of all that, bring a couple of doggie treats for Zack, her black lab, and he will be your bff forever! You can’t miss with JJ’s… great place for a great haircut!

I was in PS on vacation and badly needed a haircut. But how do you find a great hair cutter when you are out of town? I looked on Unilocal!
Judy was fantastic. Warm, friendly, smart! She’s really involved in her community and is a great cheerleader for Palm Springs. My haircut was terrific! I would give her 6 stars!

After we had our haircuts today, we both marveled at how great our hair looked! It is no wonder after all these years that our barber and friend, Judy stays so busy… Another wonderful reason to enjoy the paradise that is Palm Springs!

I paid 20 bucks for a haircut that I could’ve done a better job at myself! The lady who cut my hair did a terrible job. She rushed through it and it came out uneven and way too short. Find another barber.
