It took me over a year to find a great barber in the Palm Springs/Cathedral City area. Ben is incredible, he’s a nice, quite guy who really listens. He’s always busy, so be respectful and I’m sure he’ll take you anytime!

After a 21 day cruise and some time in Germany, I finished off my 5 week vacation in Palm Springs. I desperately needed a shave and a hair cut and a manicure. So I went to another local place. They informed me that they were not licensed to do shaves. Rather than leaving, I decided to stay. The atmosphere there was not particularly warm. My nail tech and hair cutter seemed bored. He was certainly pleasant. My hair cut took just a few minutes. Since I still needed a shave, I checked out Unilocal and went to Luigi’s the next day. I immediately liked the familiar atmosphere. My barber introduced himself as Jesse and asked if I wanted anything to drink. Since beer was a choice, I gladly accepted. I got a lovely shave with warm towels and all. Jesse meticulously trimmed my mustache and goatee. After he was done, I looked in the mirror and loved what I saw. Except for the top og my head. So I had him also give me a proper haircut. I left a happy camper!!! Thanks!!!

Took my husband there to get a cut and shave, and couldn’t have got a more better barber than Ben. No complaints at all, he was awesome! We would highly recommend seeing him.

Been coming here every two weeks for the last two years. Clean, friendly, and professional shop. Roman(the owner) cuts my hair and his haircuts are the best I’ve ever had. Consistently! I also highly recommend the old fashioned shave if you’ve got time to spare.

My husband went here for a cut yesterday and found the barber to be professional and his cut was exactly what he wanted. Clean, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere.

Had a very good experience this past week. Brought my 4 year-old son in for a haircut, along with a haircut for myself. We were seated and attended to quickly, which was great. The only gripe I have is the price. $ 22 for a 4 year-old’s haircut, $ 24 for me. The former seems a bit high. Otherwise a great experience.

What a way for a guy to enjoy a vacation. A hot towel shave with the old school touches. A steady hand, craftsmanship in its finest. After a half hour in the chair, they finished it up with a splash of Clubman after shave. I highly recommend this to any guy in the area

Not a people friendly place from the moment you walk in you’re not greeted or acknowledged or informed that depending on your look you sign or don’t sign in. Once seated what you ask for isn’t what you’re going to get not to mention that prices are not posted any where and will vary on barber. Not a good or semi descent experience.

Great«old school» barbershop. Like a throwback to the ’50’s in a really fun, authentic way. Roman — the owner — is a wonderful guy and an incredibly talented barber and stylist. My buddy(who has classic, poker straight Cary Grant hair) and I(short, buzz-cut style) both had one of the best haircuts ever. And for only $ 20.00. 5 stars!

Went in to get a cleanup. Despite being a walk-in, had no trouble sitting right down in a chair. $ 24 for a #2 fade is a little high. They don’t take credit cards. Everyone in the shop is very friendly.

Very nice. No wait. My husband got a clean up cut on his hair and beard. The guy was nice. We drove here straight from the airport.

I’ll admit to being particular about my hair. Up until recently I avoided barber shops because they generally lacked an awareness to subtleties of style. However, with the recent insurgence of «hipster» barbers(those that have an awareness of current aesthetics), and a personal growing admiration of classic men’s grooming when done well, I’ve begun returning to barbers as my preferred hair service providers. Since I was long overdue for a cut, and found myself with some spare time while vacationing in Palm Springs, I decided to roll the dice and visit a local barber shop with good reviews on Unilocal.Long story short, the gentleman who cut my hair was very nice, and cut my hair very quickly, but the result was a disappointing shape that I will have to wrestle with every morning to feel comfortable with. And since he cut the front too short, there’s really no fixing it. The only remedy is time. If you’re after a barber that can put on a #2 guard and clipper your hair, this place is fine. If you want something more nuanced, be sure to provide careful instructions, or look for somewhere that will take the time to understand what you want.

Shhhhhhhhh… Don’t tell Tommy, my regular barber in Las Vegas I am cheating on him! When ever I travel to Palm Springs, I like to go to Luigi’s. No matter who’s chair you sit down in you are assured of getting a great barber cut! At least that has been my experience. Yesterday was no exception, went in and within a few minutes siting in the chair of the only female barber in the place. She was so great, very thorough! I left a happy customer once again! Over all this place is amazing, it has been here for years. The only thing I found odd was while other barbers did not have customers, they were sitting and looking at iPads, and iPhones. Which I know is the world we live in, but the shop is busy and was kind of messy. Why not take a few minutes and clean up your station? I guess those days are over. handheld devices trump all! This would absolutely NOT deter me from returning to Luigi’s. It is a great place! I have NEVER walked out unhappy with my cut, and I have been about 6 times.

This place is legit!!! Old school, old style barbershop that knows how to treat their patrons. Need a straight edge? They’ll do it. Warm towel to soften that shit up too. Hell, you can even have a beer or two, or more while they clean your shit up!!! Great shop, period!!!

So I came in looking for a haircut since its been about a month and i’m on vacation. This place looked like the best barbershop around Palm Springs so I came here. Paul ended up cutting my hair and did a great job, I was nervous at first since I haven’t really gone to anywhere else to get my hair cut for 3 years now. I didn’t have to wait in line, which was nice. It was a little pricey though, $ 22 for a haircut? And it was a little confusing when I first walked in as to where I should check in or what. Other than the price, it was a cool place to get a nice cut.

Have been going to Ben the Barber here for over a year, he consistently cranks out some of the best haircuts I’ve ever had… As others have said, he is quite the artist with the clippers & scissors… Plus, he’s a good guy, if I wanna talk, he talks, if not, no worries… Highly recommend Ben the Barber, and this shop…
