Highly recommended, especially if you are into cactus and succulents. Admission of $ 5.00 per adult gets you a docent-guided 30-minute tour. Docent Nicholas guided our tour, and he did a fantastic job both entertaining and educating us. The gardens are on the grounds of a rambling old Spanish revival hacienda built in 1918 and are divided into sections representing Earth’s various arid zones e.g. Sonoran desert, Madagascar and Africa, etc. Many sizes of cacti and succulents are available for sale to visitors on the premises. We will be making the Moorten Botanical Gardens a regular part of our future visits to Palm Springs.

Small place that is filled with all kinds of cacti and succulents, some Ive never seen before. The best part is the enclosed section in the back. They also have a wide selection of cacti and succulents you can purchase.

Worth the visit. We came by here for a stroll through and loved the vibe. This is not a two hour museum tour, but rather a 20 – 40 minute stroll into a fascinating collection of cacti and other living(plant and animal) living creatures. The best part is you can buy a lot of these for very reasonable rates. We loved this place so much we held our wedding welcome dinner here. Did it on a Friday night. 90 people. With a taco cart. Absolutely incredible and intimate place. Everyone loved it. The owner, Clark, is one of the nicest people you can work with. He was so excited for our event. Even helped bring out tables and chairs. Chatted with our guests. This is a neat little place if you’re looking for a different experience. We brought in a taco truck and some buckets with beer. People loved it.

I love this place! Came out to PS for a weekend getaway and was told to swing by here on my way out of town. What a treat! I found so many succulents that I’ve never seen or heard of before. Teeny-tiny individual ones for $ 1! I’m not even kidding. The prices here are amazing for succulents, which are usually on the spendy side. I can’t wait to come back for more!
