It’s closed. Would have been nice to know before we made the drive all the way out there. There was a lock on the door. Not even a «closed» sign out the front. We saw other people doing exactly what we had done as we looked out the window from a neighboring window.

Great little find. A definite stop while passing thru. Small establishment but tons of character and great flavors. Had the Vermonter and would go back for it. Hit the spot. Owner was lovely to talk to and freely shared her Chicago expat story. Stop by or you will miss it.

Wow! That was great! Gotta go back until we tried everything. Homemade bratwurst is excellent. Southwest egg rolls are very very good.

Going down the highway, hit the closest Unilocal that had a high star rating. Ended up here, in this cute little house tucked a few miles out. Ordered the egg rolls, bloody mary, and the super pierogi sampler and was not disappointed! ! Everything was delicious! From the Buffalo chicken and farmers cheese stuffed pierogis, to the blueberry bbq dipping sauce. Great service as well.

For what it’s worth, this place was great. The pierogies had seasoning in the dough and insert(a little garlic) which I’m not a fan of. But they were damn good. $ 2.50 per pierogi seemed fair for the quality. Definitely worth the drive from Colorado Springs

Delicious pierogis, yummy craft beers, and a cute little patio area. This place is a Palmer Lake, Colorado gem!

My first time there today I had the huevos rancheros and the dish was great. It included a pierogi, black beans and corn tortillas smothered in green chili but was not too hot and seasoned deliciously. Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time!

The bottom line is that I would definitely come back and eat here again. The front dining area is small, so if the weather is good, walk around in the back and eat on the porch. The food is great. We’re from a German/Polish community around Chicago, so we’ve had a few pierogis before. The pierogi sampler is good. My husband and daughter rated the sausage pierogi their favorite. Yummy coarse mustard for dipping kielbasa too. The potato pierogi that I ate was firm on the outside and soft and mash potato-y inside. Just like I remember. If I had know my younger daughter wasn’t going to be crazy about the sauerkraut one, I would have gladly eaten for her! The smoked pulled pork slider is more chunky meat, not fork shredded. Nice flavor. Great that a side salad of green leaf lettuce is included. The pork/quinoa burrito is different, but good. Each half of the burrito with a green or red sauce. There are a few service quirks that would have made this an awesome first experience. First, what I received on my plate was a bit different than described on the menu(3 sandwiches and a fried pickle but received 2 sandwiches and pickle slices on the sandwich). I was told that the menu hadn’t been changed yet. Getting what I got wouldn’t have been a little disappointing if I hadn’t been tantalized by the concept of eating a fried pickle. Second, the servers only knew that the beer they sold was from Pikes Peak Brewery but really couldn’t tell me if the beer was a wheat beer, pale ale etc. I got that info from a friendly table next to us.(By the way, the beer was good, although poured into a slightly warm mug) Third, it became chilly on the back porch and I asked if they could start one of the propane heaters. That was forgotten about. Having been a waitress before, I understand how something like that can fall through the cracks of a servers mind. Fourth, and the oddest thing was a matter of our bill. Our server had taken the order on a tablet device and at the end of our meal walked up and announced the total to our table. No paper bill, no looking at price compared to our orders. Upon cash payment, we were offered no receipt. Weird.

We kind of keep forgetting about eating here since it is at the end of Palmer Lake but the other night we were headed to O’Malley’s and it was way to packed. So we headed to the Pierogi and we definitely weren’t disappointed by any means. The burrito I ordered was one of the best I have ever had hands down. It was kind sweet in flavor but it had a smooth tingle of spice. Really hard to describe but it was NOT a basic burrito by any means. My wife got the pork sliders and they were juicy, not like that crap the call bbq at some of the chain places in the Springs. It was a great time and we left super full. If you get a chance try out their green chili also, it has a great taste to it and doesn’t copy any versions I have had at king Chef, Rudy’s little Hide Away or the Omelet Parlor. Thanks Parked Pierogi for not making us feel like we wasted our money.

Great variety of dinner pierogis. Very tasty, especially the Mac n Cheese pierogi. Wasn’t impressed with the dessert pierogis though, as they are pretty small for the price. They had a nice patio out back with a great view. Our server was very helpful, polite and engaging. Quaint little restaurant. Would definitely recommend if you like small quaint eateries and want to try pierogis.

Another great find in one if my favorite little towns, Palmer lake. I’ve never had a pierogi before but everything I had was delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy. It had brown gravy instead of sawmill like I’m used to, but it was still very good with large bacon bites. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and my Mac n cheese pierogi was very good. I also tried the blueberry cobbler and it was exactly how blueberry cobbler should be! Slightly gooey with a scoop of ice cream, warm and very tasty. The service was good and I got my food fairly quickly on a Sunday morning. Also the location was really pretty and it had a very chill aura with great music like jack Johnson. Definitely coming back!

I love supporting local restaurants. Everybody should go try The Parked Pierogi in Palmer Lake. I first heard about them at the Breckenridge Oktoberfest where they had a booth. The restaurant is small, but has a great atmosphere. You can sit inside, out on the front porch or out on the back patio. I recommend the back patio. The main item you need to try are the pierogis. I’ll describe it as a wonton, hotpocketish, European dumpling yumminess. They offer a dinner appetizer pierogis sampler plate that I highly recommend. For dinner I tried the pulled pork burrito which I also recommend. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. I’ll be going back. FYI, you can order pierogis to go.

We had an enjoyable breakfast/lunch at the Parked Pierogi on Saturday. Except for some take-out customers picking up their orders of housemade pierogis, we were the only ones dining inside the tiny room(a much larger patio for warmer seasons is out back). The space is bright and naturally-lit with large windows facing east and south. Atmosphere was eclectic in a minimalist way, although the TV on the wall was tuned to an NCAA basketball game. Athough it took our server a few minutes to acknowledge us when we walked in, she ended up being very nice and was able to answer our questions about the menu. My Classic breakfast was great and the perfect amount of food, considering we had just run 6 miles. The eggs arrived just the way I ordered(over medium), and I loved the potato & cheese pierogi with its smooshy goodness! Jam for the English Muffin was proffered in a little bowl, a small gesture that made the meal seem a bit more luxurious than those little one-time-use Smuckers packs. Bacon was thick cut and slightly floppy. The fiancé’s BBQ sandwich was delicious. He claimed that the mound of pulled pork and cole slaw on a toasted brioche bun was the perfect size for him, but I still managed to get away with a forkful of the tender, juicy meat. The slaw was not overly creamy — in fact, I thought it had the right amount of citrusy sweetness. Although no chips or fries were offered, his dish did come with a pierogi. My friend ordered the pierogi sampler — WOW. The kielbasa was flavorful, as were the variety of pierogis. I highly enjoyed the dipping sauces: blueberry BBQ and agave beer mustard. DOWNSIDE: We ordered hot tea and I was disappointed we were not offered a choice. Lipton black was what we got — YUCK. With PP going for a more distinctive and unique experience, I was hoping to see something better than Lipton, especially for $ 1.50! Celestial Seasonings, for a start, would be worlds better, or Tazo, or Rishi Tea, or ANYTHING but Lipton!

Palmer Lake, Colorado is becoming a restaurant destination in the Castle Rock to Colorado Springs corridor. The addition of the Parked Pierogi is a welcome one. We decided to give it a try today and were not disappointed. I have to admit I wasn’t quite sure what a pierogi was, but having eaten cuisines around the world I was ready for another adventure! We decided to split the pierogi sampler, four palm of your hand size delicious little dough envelopes stuffed with various mouth watering fillings. All four were delicious. The potato was flavorful and melt in your mouth smooth. The ground beef was seasoned expertly, and the pulled pork also seasoned to perfection and tender. The cabbage pierogi was flavorful and had just the right amount of crunch. The coleslaw served alongside was delicious, just the right amount of sweet and savory dressing mixed into purple and green shredded cabbage with real celery seeds. Really one of the best coleslaws I’ve had in a while. The Parked Pierogi also serves breakfast and many more pierogi selections and even has what sounds like a yummy burrito. Food was served hot, which is hard to accomplish in Colorado, kudos to the chef and server for getting it out to us right away. Give this place a try, the décor is fun, wait staff is efficient and friendly and it’s definitely a place well revisit soon.

What a great find! Beautiful old Victorian house, and so much thought was put into the décor. I’d never had a pierogi before, but I love the two I’ve now tried here. The place is small inside but the patio outside will be great in the summer.

For a place with the word Pierogi in it’s name, I sort of expected more. I grew up with girlfriends who made pierogis on the weekend with their grandma and Pierogi Fest was always the answer to my prayers after the void the Taste of Chicago left in my hungry tummy. It memory serves me correctly, I’ve had at least twenty different varieties in my lifetime. That being said, I understand I’m not in a traditionally Polish, Russian, Czech, or Eastern European neighborhood and there’s no grandma in the back sitting on a stool hunched over a butchers block in her kitchen(Ah…sweet memories.) However, I was expecting more than just four pierogi on the menu! Maybe it was because it was lunchtime and they more on the weekends, but as I flipped the one sided menu over, I was definitely disappointed. When I heard there was a cute restaurant that served dumplings in Palmer Lake, I got my friend excited with descriptions of my memories of the first pierogi I ever sunk my teeth into. Now that we’ve had lunch here, I think I oversold the whole idea. First off, there was no definition of a pierogi for the individual who had never heard of such a thing. Yes, there’s Google but I find that sometimes a little picture, description or at least a list of ingredients on a menu really helps. It’s not a requirement, but it’s nice. Thankfully, I could explain the traditional ingredients and the dimensions to my friend so that was nice. I should point out that I really can’t tell you what kind of pierogi we had. It had some sort of meat in it, lots of gristle in one, and a lot of oil oozing out of all four. Four pierogi, buttered onion and a piece of sausage halved with a blueberry bbq sauce and honey mustard served on a Corelle plate for $ 8.50. It really deserves a «meh…» rating. It wasn’t good and it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. I also ordered a cup of hot tea and when I expect the server(probably the teenage daughter of the owner) to give me a list of what they had but instead was served tepid water in a shallow cappuccino mug. No tea pot, no variety of teabags, no lemon, nothing. Not even hot water? I gulped that mug of hot water down just so I could ask for another cup in order to put my own teabag in it. Luckily, I had just come from Natural Grocers so I had a box in my purse. But when the mug came out the second time, it was piping hot thankfully. It appeared that the restaurant was filled with locals as everyone knew each other by name and knew each others business. Now my friend and I know everyone else’s business too ’cause it only seats three tables and a handful of bar seats in a space smaller than my kitchen. I’m not kidding. The acoustics are horrible so please don’t come here if you’re trying to have a nice intimate meal. And you may need a booster seat for one of the chairs ’cause they’re not matched very well with the beautiful tables. The tabletop ended up at chest level on me and my friend joked that he felt like he was taking his kids out. But since the place is so small, don’t worry about parking! The lot in the back only allows you to go in one way and you’ll have to awkwardly make a three point turn to go back out. Overall, the restaurant definitely shows signs of some growing pains. The chairs can’t be pushed in lest they hit the beautiful copper base, the conversation from the kitchen can be heard in the dining room at times, the window looking into the kitchen from the outside is partially covered up with grocery bags and random items, the silverware is setup backwards on the tables, and most telling item of all is the server hovering over your table with her iPad display of your bill just waiting for you how you’d like to pay. Right now. While you’re having a conversation about elementary schools with your friend. At first I thought their billing program only allowed them to display the bill and perhaps email you the receipt. I applauded them for being tech savvy and saving some paper mentally and was so excited to see that trend but then she asked if we wanted a paper receipt. Womp womp womp. I would have much rather she just printed out the bill and left it in a check presenter. It doesn’t give people a chance to try to figure out the bill(to split the check) or take their time. It feels like you’re just being hurried out and encouraged to leave as soon as possible and it sort of offended us. But they’re a new business and things can change over time and service could improve. The restaurant itself is beautiful and you can tell someone lovingly put some hard work into their sponging paint technique on the ceiling, picking out the fixtures, and the pictures on the walls. So I can’t write this off and pledge to never come here again because of one bad experience. They obviously worked hard for this. I may forget about this experience in a few months and one day when I’m at O’ Malleys I may say to myself, «oh look… a pierogi place! I love pierogi!» and come back.

Cute new breakfast/lunch place in the old station house off of Hwy 105. The pierogies are delicious. We enjoyed a unique breakfast burrito that has barbequed pork inside. You can get a four-pierogi sampler or order them on the side. The restaurant is small, with some seating on the front porch.
