Toan is very honest and he’s got a creative business model that I believe is offering a useful service to LOTS of us in the Silicon Valley.
Does this sound familiar??:
You have a great laptop (say MB Pro) only couple years old, for sale, you think it’s worth X and so you list it on Craigslist (trying to ignore the 150 other listings for MB Pros on Craigslist) and wait and wait and wait. Nothing. Then you go in and reduce the (reasonable) price you set it at. Still nothing.
Or — you get a text from somebody who says «yep, price sounds good meet me at Starbucks at 5» and you get there and they don’t show up, or they text you 30 minutes before you get there… you get the idea.
Like Mike D., BestSell contacted me and offered me more than I was asking on Craigslist. I was a little unsure bc I didn’t know him, but wow when I got there I realized how completely above board he is.
I was out with cash in 10 minutes. I’ve been back several times since. Toan is very cool. Great business. You know you’re not gonna use that laptop! Sell it! Better yet — tell everybody you know about this business. It’s awesome.
I will never sell an iPhone or a Mac on Craigslist again.
