I am en ex-employee of Starbucks Coffee and this particular Starbucks has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The employees rarely seem to smile, they seem irritated when guests make simple requests, and they just seem to want to get to the next person. A nice smile and a «how is your day going?» would be really nice. After all, I am paying $ 4.00 for a cup of coffee. Also, the manager smokes his cigarettes in the ally right outside! It’s kind of gross. I’d appreciate if he followed the«stay 20 feet away from buildings» rule. There are children and patrons walking by constantly, and it’s really no fun to walk through clouds of smoke.

You had one job. Make coffee. After waiting in a long line, you tell me no decaf coffee. Really? You’re a coffee shop. Did you forget? I don’t usually go for decaf but I’m pregnant and that’s what I’m left with most of the time. Fortunately, zombie runner had decaf coffee. Yes, the store that primarily has running apparel and accessories has any kind of coffee I want. I’ll be going to the running store in the future for my coffee needs.

Cute but very busy Starbucks. The location is great, so you can grab coffee and a meal nextdoor or just spend a day working here. Well, if you snag a seat, that is. Baristas have generally been on the slow side. Park on California or the lot in back(but there’s always at least one crazy person not paying attention to the directional arrows).

This place is ridiculous. I thought at first it was a fluke that they wouldn’t know how to make a smores frap. but coming again. same thing. the service is just ridic. Ditch. Dodge. Avoid like the plague. Not worth your money.

Worse service ever! The staff here are rude and unhappy and I suggest they find new jobs since they do not know the term customer service. The cashier called me over then wasn’t ready started serving other guests. I was choking asked the barista for water. One ignored me. The Caucasian girl with the messy braid stated I needed to tell the cashier I’m not allowed to ask her for water! She handed me water I said thank you she ignored me. After spending 14 here, this is disappointing. This will be my last time at this location

Who’s taking care of the customer service at this location??? Where’s the manager??? Those guys are all the time running they want to take all customers orders at time there’s no way you can do that… You have to do it one by one quickly… So disappointed…

This starbucks is just a regular starbucks, they do everything that all the other ones do, it’s a little small so if you’re looking for a place to lounge you might run out of room! What gives it 4 stars is the staff, going at lunch time when there is usually a rush, they are pretty nice and friendly!

I work right near here so every single day m-f I walk to this Starbucks. And 4 out of the 5 times the same girl is there and not once has she smiled at me, said hi how are. you? Just a simple«what can I get for you?» Even when she isn’t at the cashier and she is on the floor and we make eye contact does she smile just a pissed off look on her face. If she doesn’t like her job why is she working there? People spend a lot of money at Starbucks week in and week out for them to be treated rudely. And then I get the same drink every time, and each, time it taste different. I would go to a diff Starbucks but since this one is in walking distance I continue to go.

This is a nice Starbucks with a nice outdoor area that joins up with the Counter next door. It gets really busy around the morning and noon time and dies down towards the late afternoon and evening hours. There aren’t enough umbrellas outside so you will always end up facing the sun or something … but it’s not too bad if you decide to sit inside. They also don’t have as many seats as they CAN have inside, so it’s very roomy and empty, and sort of cold … I would prefer if they could get more seats!

Came here for the first time and ordered a venti mocha cookie crumble and the whip cream tasted spoiled. Came back and asked for a refund. Kinda rude the way they offered me my money back saying how the manager and someone tried it and it tasted fine. It tasted sour and gross.

I had a venti of Pike’s place and it was like drinking hot water, devoid of flavor and a complete wast of $ 2 and change. I can’t vouch for the caffeine content but it was either very watery or not well mixed. I generally avoid Starbucks in favor of a Pete’s where I’ve always gotten a flavorful and consistent cup of coffee but this Starbucks was well placed on the street and I needed my cup and it did me wrong!

A friend from work and I come here EVERYMORNING, early, and are greeted with cheer 99% of the time(not even I can be cheery 100% of the time!). The people who work there(Claudia in particular) consistently take the few extra seconds it takes to make us feel valued as customers. Don’t get me wrong; I love my local, boutique coffee places too — but the last thing I want, first thing in the morning, is a surly hipster shoving a coffee across the counter at me with a scowl. I never have to worry about that here; the service and drinks are consistent and reliable. What floored me the most was that I was recently living overseas for 6 months, and on my first day back, they still remembered my drink.

I come here regularly when my colleagues and I need a break from the office. During 75% of my visits, the staff are rude to me whether I am ordering or waiting for my drink. I could easily go to Zombie Runner or even the Peet’s counter at Mollie Stone’s but I like Starbucks because the amount of caffeine doesn’t make me crazy and the quality is consistent. Today, a frowning, bitter lady named Jenn gave a ton of attitude to my coworker, who politely let her know that her order was incorrect. I work in customer service so it’s not like I don’t understand stress or rude people. But this hag was rude to us for no reason, and went so far as to tell other Starbucks staff that it was a «long day»…In front of customers. Not sure if her behavior is a consequence of a horrible workplace or the darkness of her soul, but this Starbucks needs to give employees a crash course in customer service skills. Otherwise, get another job.

Hands down my favorite Starbucks location. Not only the location is convenient to my office but the service is great. I appreciate how courteous and friendly Baristas Erik and Jade are in the early morning, makes for starting a great day. Store is neat and clean. Outside seating is great when it’s nice out. Good place to grab a coffee and sit and talk with friends.

The space is big at this location. I like the high rise ceilings and the openness of this shop because it provides more room, air, and it filters out that typical coffee smell that sticks to you. It doesn’t get steamy and hot in here so that’s a plus. Hands down to Claudia for being legit at the bar. She’s efficient and very professional. She makes sure she gets the orders right and always puts on a smile. She’s the heart of this location. Stop by and let her know Ali sent you!

It’s warm and clean and has wifi, but the service was pretty bad. I don’t expect people to be super friendly at the end of the night but I expect the drinks to be made with the right syrup. I asked if they still had the peppermint syrup because I know it is seasonal. I was told that they did still have it. I ordered a peppermint latte(I said hot chocolate first and really meant mocha, but that was my fault), what I got was a regular mint latte which tasted horrible. I stood for a while trying to figure out why it tasted like I had just brushed my teeth and poured my mouthwash into the drink, then I took it over to the counter and told the guy who made it that it tasted really bad and left.

I come here almost every morning before heading into the office. It is hit or miss with this place! Sometimes service is great and others they completely forget your order?! I’ve had a few incidences but they always give me a complimentary beverage voucher when they mess up so it’s not so bad. Save time by downloading the Starbucks app so they can just scan it! Also, you get cool offers like 50% of beverage or whatever the promo is. Watch out for the shady customers who will take your breakfast sandwich! This has happened to me many times!

THEWORSTBARISTACREWEVER! Mind you, I was a Starbucks employee so customer service here is KEY. I’m not sure if he is the manager, but the man who is a coffee expert w/the black apron he is Middle Aged with glasses and is on the heavy side. HEIS A TOTALDOUCHE. Very obnoxious man. He has an arrogant attitude and his«jokes» are not funny but annoying. He also has a habit of smoking cigarettes… How I know? Is be because before he takes his breaks he packs them while talking to his staff and has it and lighter on hand. One of the gals. She is tall, blonde has glasses and is in the heavy side too. She got an attitude for sure. If you don’t like your job please take that attitude somewhere else. All in all, not just because of these folks I have had a bad experience almost every time I came to this Starbucks but the whole staff here needs a lesson on customer service. They take their sweet time and talk to each other and hey I got places to go so I will be impatient. They make the drinks okay here — somewhat sloppy with dripping and what not. Got a Mozz, tomato panini today it was cold in the center too. UGHHHHHHH.

Worst is a strong word. I’ll go with this Starbucks is ‘among the worst’ I’ve ever relied on near somewhere I’ve worked. I don’t ask for much in a Starbucks: I drink drip coffee so I never have to wait in line, I barely touch the pastries since they’re not great for you, I also barely touch the microwaved breakfast sandwiches due to their general grossness(at any Starbucks, nothing to do with this location). What I DO need is for the coffee place I have the best access to on the way to work to be open every day, at a consistent time of day, early enough for me to stop in on my way to work. Three times in recent memory I have been en-route to Stanford and struck out at this location in the early morning, one of which they actually had a hand written sign on the door that said something like ‘Sorry, short people, closed until 6:30′ .?
