Incredibly rude staff at this location. Tried to make an order over the phone twice and they kept hanging up on me. Showed up to place an order and it took nearly a half an hour today! This place is awful!

Had to wait 20 minutes for chow mien to be cooked after the behind counter server called it to the women cook in which she waited to notify the guy to cook the chow mien. Only one clean table and floor was flilthy. Then when they came out to clean the tables he used his rag to push the garbage into the can and then continued to clean tables. And they want $ 15 hr?

It’s 10:18am, no rice or Chow Main ready not to mention many other sides … I asked Elizabeth D my server what time they opened and she answered back«we start cooking at 10am «with an attitude. Keep in mind they open at 10am. I understand that couple of minutes of wait time is ok but not 15 – 20 more at 10:18 for rice. To top it off off … I didn’t even get a thank you.

The customer service is the most terrible I have ever seen. I ordered Pacific Chili Shrimp and they told me 10 minutes, so I said sure I could wait. However, after 20 minutes, I was still waiting. I asked the person in charge what took so long like 20 minutes, she not only did not apologize, but asked for my receipt to see the transaction time(she doubted it was really 20 minutes). How is this even possible? She was extremely rude and impatient, and did a poor job explaining. I will never come to this Panda again and this is one of the poorest experience I have ever had in dining industry! Yes, I got refund for *that item*, and it also took them extra 10 minutes just to do that, and I left Panda without eating much.

This is a shout out to the owner of Panda Express on El Camino in Palo Alto to do something about your store. Hire a manager, retrain your staff — DOSOMETHING!

I actually like Panda Express. Its my go to for nights when I just have one to cook for. Today I decided to go there and take out for dinner. There was plenty of parking and I got a spot right away. I went in the store and there was one other person before me and thevwait was short. My turn came and I chose the two entrée plate for take out. I had a code for a free side dish that I got from a short survey that I completed. I ordered veggies instead of rice(to keep the carbs low). Then I ordered three entrees. The chicken with mushrooms was good, not too flavorful but just enough thst I put some soy sauce on it. Thr chix and green beans was very tastey but i like spicey and this could have been spicier for me. The teriyaki chicken was great. Actually all the food looked very good, bins were filled and servers got my order correct. My only complaint would be that tha teriyaki chicken leaked out of its container and the compostable container that the food actually came in disintegrated and got soft. Overall a dependable place to either take or eat, in the clean tidy eating area.

Super rude employees at this location. There’s one short mexican girl that took my order and then disappeared into the back of the kitchen. She came back out a few minutes later and I was still standing there. I asked if I could get my food, and she yelled«There’s other employees here, why dont you ask them.» This ignorant little girl will be working a panda express caliber job for a long time. People like her are why we shouldn’t raise the minimum wage.

I am a displaced former frequent customer of Mr. Chau’s, and find it a good substitute and an improvement in some ways– they take credit cards and are a little more efficient. The only problem is, the way the customer line is arranged, you can’t have a good look at the items offered before you have to make up your mind. Also, I never dreamed I’d ever see a Chinese restaurant of any quality level that didn’t offer any kind of soups.

I’m going to throw this shot out to David. David the young black kid that did an exceptionally professional job with greeting me and preparing my teriyaki chicken just the way that I wanted it I give him 10 stars you guys need to pay attention to him. Anyway, keep up the good work David

Best Panda Express! I have been to many locations but this location is my ultimate favorite! A shout out to Shakila. She is one of the best! She is friendly fast and makes no mistakes. The food is hot and tasty especially the chow mein, it is very moist and not dried out like all the other places.

Always a line here. Why don’t they hire more employees to serve. It takes so long to order.

I have been to a handful of Panda Express establishments and the customer service here is very bad. I came in wanting to buy party trays of fried rice and chow mein. I was told I would have to wait 40 minutes for them and that all party tray orders have to be called in. This is not true because I have been to 3 different Panda Expresses and I was able to walk out with the party trays. I asked if I could order a la carte instead and the attendant said yes. So it is fine to order 4 large of fried rice and chow mein, but not the party trays. That is ridiculous!

Ha. So I’m here asking for a tray of chow and fried rice. They said they can’t sell me a tray right now. So we buy four large orders of large boxes of fried rice and chow mein. They sure have enough for that! Lol what the hell is the difference? Then the manager refuses to sell us a tray to serve it in!

Ordered to go on 10/28, 9pm. The lady who helped me is so rude! Ordered 2 entrees, sweet-fire chicken and broccoli beef. she only gave me half of the serving size that I used to get. Only one piece of beef and two pieces of broccoli, really!

I think management read the Unilocal complaints. I came here at 1pm during the week. Parking was packed but there was no line(even though the seats were full) and all bit one item was available. Didn’t eat yet, but the servings looked like a normal Panda Express.(Disclaimer: most of my experience with PE has been in airports and college campuses)

It’s Wednesday night at 8:30 and there are 14 people in line and 3 people working! It’s fast food people so it’s not super good for you but man is it good. Just please oh please get some more employees up in here! Maybe they need to pay more cause this place is always understaffed!

The wait is real right here, maybe it was because they had less a worker but it took me like 15 minutes to get my order of orange chicken and Beijing beef. They had one worker there doing basically everything while 10 people are lining up in the back it was crazy. I am not going to complain about their quick food though.

I love Panda Express! Been going to this branch since it opened in Palo Alto but the quality and quantity of food and supply are always a hit or miss. We would always answer the Panda Express survey on our receipt when we have complaints so they can improve. My issues: 1) Quality of food. The steamed veggies always look stale & old — so we always ask them to make a new batch AND the string bean chicken’s beans are always overcooked & old(see photo I posted, so gross) 2) Supply of food. They are always OUT of brown rice, most of the food containers are almost empty after 2pm and cooks don’t refill them right away! Ugh! AND they always run out of grilled teriyaki chicken. It takes 10 – 15 minutes to make it but they won’t start making it UNTIL a customer orders or asks for it. This is a FASTFOOD joint — not made to order kinda place. 3) Supply of Passion Iced Tea. It’s a best seller so I don’t understand why they can’t monitor if the container is already empty. We always have to ask an employee to make it for us. 4) Food Servings. Some employees are stingy but some are awesome in this area. My two favorite emplyees are Sheena & Dominique as they always give you enough serving :) 5) Cleanliness Tables are always sticky. The floors are dirty(see photo that I took the last time we were here). Im not sure if they’re always undermanned or they just don’t give a crap. 6) Airconditioner is a major fail. Eating in a resto during summer time without a/c is brutal. Plus the heat coming off from the cooking area is adding heat inside. Can’t they fix this??? Gave them a chance but I think yesterday was the last draw. We wont be coming back anymore! Although I love the food, I am not happy with this specific chain of Panda Express — so much different from the one at Valley Fair Mall… always fresh food, well supplied & generous servings!

We dropped by at this place for a casual dinner. I ordered fried rice and orange chicken. Fried rice was kind of dry and meh, but the orange chicken was tasty. Probably not the place for a hungry meal, the portions are quite small. We sat around the place for about 2 hours, they have comfortable high rise chairs. Fun fact — orange chicken was first sold at panda express! :D
