This place is dirty. Floor is disgusting, tables gross and the staff isn’t all that either. 15 minute wait on an espresso drink? I seriously couldn’t believe how dirty it is… sorry.

I go here for lunch from time to time because it’s super convenient. I usually get the garlic turkey(cold) sandwich, which is an average size but definitely overpriced. Actually, everything here is overpriced. It reminds me of 85 Degree Bakery, but not as good. Don’t get the strawberry smoothie – it tastes like strawberry syrup and ice blended together. If you can find an 85 Degree Bakery, go there instead.

Don’t let the bright lights trick you. This place is very sub-par, wannabe French café. Table was wobbly, latte was mediocre at best. the guy making my coffee was rude and had a sharp tone. good from far, but far from good!

I love this bakery for many reasons: 1) The price! Everything here is priced so well. Each pastry and slice of dessert is less than $ 5! 2) The quality. if you find something you like here, you can count on it being the same every, single, time! 3) The staff. The workers are always so super nice and welcoming. They’re very helpful and pleasantly process people through the lines quickly. My favorite piece of cake here is the blueberry chiffon. It is not too sweet and the cream/icing is just perfect! Will have to try a sandwich next time :-)

Looking for a nice study place and a bite to eat, I thought this bakery looked yummy from all the Unilocal photos! I’ve never been to Paris Baguette before, so I was surprised to see how large this place was! The décor is also super cute and I like the large windows and natural light that comes in. Helps out when you’re dying from midterms. The way it works is, you grab a tray, some pastry paper, and tongs and go through the line of delicious mouth watering pastries. Oh my god, it’s pastry haven! They have everything from tarts, to breads, to croissants, to savory pastries. Even macaroons! I wanted them all but at last… I remembered about the holiday weight and just got the blueberry yogurt croissant. I also got a salmon sandwich. Dont forget about the free brewed coffee with a Unilocal checkin! When I was at the cashier register, i asked my cashier if I could switch my free brewed check in coffee to an iced coffee. She answered no. I asked if I could just have a cup of ice then, and she said let me go ask my manager. I was really confused, and somewhat annoyed… But the manager said that he was willing to give me an iced coffee for my free checkin so thanks to that! The salmon sandwich is ok. It came with cream cheese, boiled egg and capers. It was something I could probably make at home, but it filled me up. For $ 7.50, I don’t know how worth it it is. The blueberry yogurt croissant($ 3.50) was the hero though! It was two layers of croissant with blueberry yogurt cream in the middle and on top. The cream was so fresh and it was obvious that it made from real blueberries. The croissant was flaky and crunchy and delicious. I think this pastry was more of a cronut than a croissant. I loved everything about it except it was a TINY bit oily. As for studying, there was lots of seats and the padded seats were super comfortable. There are lots of outlets along the walls. It does get noisy here, so bring headphones to drown it out!

Had the cheese danish– so delicious! Very clean location, pretty affordable and luxurious at the same time. Would definitely recommend.

At 2:30PM they were sold out of every item I wanted(apparently other people also wanted these items) but they have no intention of making more, so for the rest of the day, too bad if you were craving a muffin. Now I can understand why they would decide to stop making croissants past a certain point, but muffins can be made any dime without requiring advance preparation. So items that can be made any time of the day really should be — there’s no excuse for running out. Oh, and I might have given them a greater star collection if it weren’t for: 1) the cupboards were bare 2) the queue was long, badly organized and they made no effort to a apologize for the 20 minute wait to reach a cash register 3) Melvin should get a job that doesn’t require contact with the public. Visit any Jamba Juice and you’ll see happy, smiling cashiers that are cheerful despite standing next to loud blenders making a ton of noise. Now look at Melvin. Besides having complete sense-of-humor failure, it’s obvious from across the store that he hates being there. A smiling customer could approach him and his sullen demeanor will only project more of his misery in an effort to protect him from anything happy. He’s not going to win any prizes for best customer-service, but he’d be perfect to put in the back, where he doesn’t(ever) have to interact with other humans.

Terrible service. The teller seemed pissed off and the tables were left dirty for a long time. Latte was well made and pastry was good but other goodies were not so good.

5 stars for the actual coffee and dessert but this review is for customer service. I came here with family on New Year’s Day around 6 after dinner. We were told that the drinks we wanted would take about 20 minutes to prepare due to the rush so at first we just decided to stick with our pastry. After a while we were like lets just wait the 20 minutes because everyone really wanted coffee. So we go back in line and the cashier literally informed us that it would take 20 minutes to prepare again, and we stated that we were okay with it. And then he said, «are you sure? It’s going to take some time.» Almost as if he didn’t want us to order because it would be extra work. Definitely gave me an unwelcome vibe but that was quickly forgotten because whoever crafted our chai & lattes did an amazing job. Yummiest coffee I’ve had in a while!

This location’s interior is a lot cooler than the one in Santa Clara. We stopped in after our NYE dinner to warm up a little while we waited for the alcohol to fade. We were both a little tired and thought that caffeine might help with the drive home. We ordered around 9:15 and were told we couldn’t have our drinks«for here» because they were closing soon. Not a big deal, we were just a little confused because we definitely would’ve finished our drinks in about 20 minutes(they closed at 10:00). Maybe so their dishwashers have a chance to wash everything sooner? Understandable. Anyways, I ordered a Green Tea Latte and my boyfriend ordered one of the hot coffee lattes. The drinks came out really quickly which was nice, but my drink(and my boyfriend’s) came out at a lukewarm temperature — not so nice. The drinks themselves were satisfactory, though a bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe I’ll stop in and try it again some time, not so close to closing time.

Sooo many yummy sweet and savory pastries. They also have wifi and coffee. Great place to study. I only wish the prices for these pastries were cheaper so I could come all the time. Open late and self serve!

I came to Paris Baguette around 7pm on a weekday. A lot of the pastries were already gone, but the bakery was still open for another 4 or so hours, so I wasn’t sure if they were going to replenish the pastry cases or not. They also didn’t seem to have any fruit tarts to my dismay — most Paris Baguettes don’t seem to stock them for some reason? I ended up picking a fruit cornet, and it was quite tasty especially with the fresh strawberries on top. This layout is very similar(if not identical) to the Paris Baguette in Berkeley.

The food is decent and like most of the other Paris Baguettes. However, everything was cold. Nothing was warm and they did not offer to heat anything up. The reason why this location is only getting a one star is because it unfortunately employs the rudest cashier. A small man with an earring who seems to be having a bad life and is taking it out on his customers. When I asked for to go bags for their pastries, he insisted of providing his unsolicited commentary about my life. Um excuse me? Then when I went back to get another bag, he mocked my mannerisms. I don’t understand what his deal was but sorry dude, it’s your job to help people. This is not the café for your pretentious behavior. I will not come back to this location. Management, check your employees and their attitudes.

I always enjoy the goodies from Paris Baguette, but a cake that I order for a recent birthday was not what I envisioned it would be… The cake was tasty, but the presentation was not what was presented in the photographed sample. Thus, I was a little disappointed.

I’m so glad there is an Asian bakery close by in Palo Alto. My mom loves this place since we used to have one at home in Diamond Bar too. This one is waaaay bigger and more crowded. The only thing I hate about it is that the prices are higher than back at home. The cakes are at least $ 5 more expensive. Also, when you order cakes in Diamond Bar, you don’t actually have to put down your credit card number but here they require you to give your credit card information. If you buy a cake here, make sure you get their plastic knife! There are matches in there so you can light your candles!

This is one fancy shmancy Paris Baguette! The bright white and blue lights with the clear glass windows makes for a fancy bread shop. It’s rather odd in that specific downtown space, but can’t complain. I love my PB breads and cakes! Don’t forget to sign up for a rewards card if you’re a regular! Those points will rack up fast if you eat a lot of bread!

Tried their Mango mousse, chocolate strawberry cake, and rose macaroon. Mango mousse — reminded me of mango ice cream/mango lassi. It was good but I’d try something different next time. Chocolate strawberry cake — loved this one! Not very sweet but delicious and light. Strawberries in the middle were refreshing as well as the fruit on top. Rose macaroon — favorite!!! Will get this again. Flavor is so unique that I cannot wait to try again. Will also try their other macaroons! Cannot wait to go back! Esp for the strawberry cheesecake!

Beautiful cakes & location! The chocolate cake with strawberries was delicious & not too sweet. The macarons however are almost $ 2 a piece which = pricey! They offer 5 macaron flavors that include strawberry, pistachio, vanilla chocolate. The air conditioning seems to always be on blast in here because I always feel cold. This location, unlike the other 3 locations in the bay area, has an outdoor dining area which is great because University Ave. is a great place for people-watching.

I am usually here on Sundays. After attending Church at Menlo Park, I try to drive down to University Avenue for a light brunch. Paris Baguette is always my first choice. The place is quite large and very inviting. You can relax here with a book and a cup of coffee. I have tried the pastries, cakes and coffees. They are all pretty good. Ordered cakes on many occasions and they have always been good. The blue berry chiffon cake and the mocha cakes are my favorite. When I went in yesterday, I had the mini garlic croissant and garlic sweet potato pastry along with a Hazelnut latte. I relished both of them. Also I liked how one of the Baristas(I forgot his name) remembered me from my previous visit which brought a smile on my face! And it was not very expensive, considering the location. Highly recommend this place!

As we were doing a post lunch stroll on University Ave, we stumbled into Paris Baguette to see if there was anything different about this particular one. Glad we went in as we saw that the stock here is definitely more plentiful and different than the one in Milpitas as well as the inside is quite large and very bright. We picked up a passion fruit cream bun. How was it? Not bad. The cream is full of passion fruit flavor. I kind of wish the bun itself was less pastry like and have more of a chewy bread type. But not bad for the size and price and I do love passion fruit! If I’m ever around, I’ll definitely wander in and pick something up.
