I’ve driven and walked by this place plenty of times but never tried it until yesterday. Went in there for happy hour(M-F: 3−7pm) with some friends. The place itself isn’t huge, more narrow but not cramped or tiny. The front is open with a few tables outside, making the place inviting. Anyways onto the food. Most of us got the dinner combo(2 or 3 sliders with a side and dipping sauce after 4pm(prices vary on which number of sliders you get)) and we were all pretty satisfied with what we got. I got Mighty Meatball and Three Alarm. A head’s up for anyone interested in trying Three Alarm, in the menu they do provide a warning for how spicy it is and from experience it was indeed very, very spicy; still good though. My friends all loved their choices too, from the veggie sliders to the lamb to the Dirty fries, this is a place we’ll all come back to.

My cousins took me here for my birthday dinner. We were starving after happy hour. The food came out delicious. The male host was rude when we asked if they had room in the back for our party of 5. He repeated himself informing us there is no room at all. The female host was able to accommodate us by moving 2 tables together by the entrance.

Love their combo options… the more sliders that you get the cheaper it becomes… Its pretty inexpensive… Love their truffle fries(French fries with truffle oil)… A delicacy to try for sure…

Happy hour $ 5 appetizers were great. Parmesan truffle fries and bbq pork fries were delish! Good portion sizes too. Waitress was pleasant but slow, especially considering they weren’t busy. Well worth our time and dining dollar.

Everything is always cuter when it’s tiny, but that doesn’t mean it will taste better. I like the concept of sliders — they’re small enough so that you can have more than one type of burger. For this meal, I got the bison burger and the hot chick. The bison burger was okay. The meat wasn’t as tender(unless they cooked it too well done) and I could barely taste any of the truffle they put in it. At $ 7 for this slider, I rather save that and get a bigger, less fancy burger. The hot chick on the other hand was actually pretty good. They don’t lie when they say it’s hot because it’s actually pretty spicy. The flavors are good in this one. I also go the truffle fries. Those were good. Probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall, the food was okay. There’s a decent selection of sliders(and other menu items) to choose from so that was appreciated. Don’t think that you’re saving money though because these tiny burgers really add up your bill!

I came here on a Thursday night around 8:20. It was pretty busy(most tables and the bar was filled). My coworkers and I ordered two three slider meals(6 sliders in total). What we tried: Old timer without cheese(dry and over cooked; meat was grainy) Hot chick(would order again) Please & Q’s(best slider that we ordered) Red & Gold(not bad; brisket is cut paper thin though) Bison burger(not worth the extra $ 1) Something else but obviously not memorable… Garlic Truffle fries(gooood) Sweet potato fries(would get again) Roasted garlic aioli(ehh, didn’t taste much garlic) Chili ranch(would get again) What I would come back for: Please & Q’s– the pulled pork was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning/sauce was flavorful, but not too salty! Garlic truffle fries-crispy thick cut(but not as thick as steak fries) Sweet potato fries-crispy and cooked perfectly(the inside of the sweet potato fries tasted like a baked sweet potato! :)) Hot chick– may be a little spicy for some. I didn’t find it spicy though(tasted like jalapeños) Pro-tip: buy the groupon. Not worth going for the full price.

Decent joint here — all of the sliders I tried were tasty but didn’t blow me away. Very heavy american style food here for sure. Service was very friendly which is always appreciated. I dunno, the food was probably close to 4 stars for me but I just think everything is about a buck or two more than it’s actually worth. Happy Hour helps though. Try it for yourself — it is nice being able to mix and match flavors unlike if you order a single burger.

This Sliderbar location offers good customer service, a unique menu with a myriad of beer and food options to choose from, and decent tasting sliders. During my most recent trip, I ordered an American Pride slider($ 5.95), a Big Kahuna slider($ 5.95), a Bravocado slider($ 5.75), a Bison slider($ 6.95), and a side of Belgian fries($ 4.95) with an extra side of Garlic Aioli($.50). The American Pride slider included a grass-fed beef patty, honey-smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, gem lettuce, tomatoes, onions & mayo on an artisan white bun. The Big Kahuna slider included a grass-fed beef patty, honey-smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, grilled pineapple, lemon mayo & roasted red peppers on an artisan white bun. The Bravocado slider included an all-natural ground garlic chicken patty, avocado, gem lettuce, tomato & chipotle sauce on an artisan multigrain bun. The Bison slider included a bison burger patty, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, red onions, and honey-smoked bacon on an artisan white bun. All of the sliders were just«okay.» The sliders were fresh and very creative(and expensive), but only the Big Kahuna was memorable, and it’s probably because it came with a slice of pineapple. The fries were my favorite part of the meal, as they were fluffy on the inside, and had just the right amount of crunch on the outside. One of the main things I liked about this Sliderbar location is that several employees stopped what they were doing and turned their head as I walked through the front door and made sure to greet me. My waitress wasn’t pushy, and she gave me just the right amount of time to peruse the lengthy menu. After I stepped outside of the restaurant, the manager on duty made sure to ask me if I enjoyed my meal and thanked me for coming. While the sliders aren’t amazing, I might go back to try some wings and fries if I’m in the area.

This is a great slider place on University ave in Palo Alto. The burgers are an obvious choice as are the sweet potato fries. Mexican chocolate shake had a hint of cinnamon. Very good. I was surprised their salads were so good. We’ll return.

A friend was telling me about this place. And then I found a groupon for this place. I’ve walked around on University Ave and never noticed this place before though. Very odd. Anyways met up with a friend of dinner on a weekday. Not very busy. But they do have a happy hour deals on appetizers and drinks from 3−7pm. Haha. We settled on the sticky wings app and the three slider combo with the sweet potato fries. I also got a pint of golden hef beer. The beer and wings app were $ 4.99 each at HH. For the combo we tried the American pride, Carolina babe, and the bison one(I forgot the name). I was most looking forward to the bison burger because I don’t get to have bison very often but it was probably the most disappointing out of the three we tried. But it was kinda dry and not very flavorful and had the least amount of toppings inside. I think the classic American burger one is probably my favorite. Bacon just has a way of making everything better. The Carolina one had pulled pork and coleslaw and it was also pretty good. The fries were great. Also it comes with your choice of sauces. I think we had the garlic aioli — mmm, delish. The only thing with the combos is that there are a lot of premium items for the sliders and the sides. We got the bison slider for a dollar more and the sweet potato fries for like $ 2 more. Like more than half the items are premium items. So HH seems like the best time to come. Service was fine. It wasn’t too busy though. They checked on us a bunch. We ordered and got our food in a reasonable amount of time. We also sat inside near the front of the restaurant. They have these foldable doors/partitions in front separating the inside with the patio seating. But it was cold outside so they had it closed and they even had the giant heaters on inside so we were extra toasty and we liked it.

Have been here many times and figured the spot deserved a great review. The sliders are always made with fresh ingredients and are full of flavor. All of the sliders are fantastic but I tend to prefer Hot Chick, Bravocado or Bayou Chicken(all three are chicken sliders). Slider bar serves various types of fries that are all seasoned perfectly with an ample amount of sauce selection. The hot chipotle ketchup and roasted garlic aioli are the best in my opinion, but the buffalo blue fries are great without any sauce. Lots of beers on tap to wash down the grub and the service is always speedy and efficient. Would definitely recommend this spot right on University Ave for a chill lunch or dinner.

Amazing heart throb vegetarian slider, Belgian fries, and«secret» dipping sauce. The slider veggie patty and sauce were phenomenal — both had unique tastes and I loved that the sauce was slightly spicy. Good/fair portion in the combo. Would love to try it again! P. S. For the vegetarians: you can switch out any beef/meat patty for a veggie patty(which, like I mentioned, was phenomenal).

Apps: Dirty fries — heavy and filling. Lots of bacon. Sticky wings — not really sticky or sweet. Meh. BBQ wings — hard pass even by the kids! Sliders: all beef patties were well past done. American pride — bacon cheese, kid OK Big kahuna — all about the pineapple Magic mushroom Carolina babe — best in show, moist Bayou chicken — fried, decent Red, gold Reuben — OK Mighty meatball — wifey liked Bravocado — avocado yum The sweet roll is the only way to go. Regular bread way too heavy.

The fries were way better than the sliders. The BBQ Pork Bro fries had a huge portion but the sauce kind of got overwhelming after a while. The sliders were pretty expensive for lunch, we got the truffle bison and Bayou chicken($ 11.95 for 2, +$ 1 for truffle bison). The truffle bison was underseasoned, but Bayou chicken was solid. The Belgian thick-cut fries that came with the combo was really crispy on the outside, soft on the inside; just the way it’s supposed to be! Not something I would go out of my way for, but the Groupon made it worth it.

Heads up! There’s a Living Social deal going on I didn’t know about– $ 12 for $ 25 Monday-Thursday. How unfortunate, I had dinner here on a Thursday night! Very casual with a laid back vibe/wait staff. 7pm: place was packed except for a spot at the bar and the outdoor tables bordering inside/outside with convenient heating lamps 10+ feet directly above. Silly me for thinking I was comfortably warm because of Burma’s flame heaters next door. I was seated directly facing the inside with my friend people watching. As soon as we sat down, the remaining open spots filled to capacity. Adrian took our drink orders and brought out a whole carafe of iced water and two large glasses of ice. The drink menu blocked my view of straws and napkins placed inside a water glass. Who knew? I was surprised the food took longer than I expected, say twenty minutes? However, my friend and I had plenty of time to catch up. We both got 3 slider dinner combos(choice of fries & dipping sauce) for $ 16.95 + $ 1 extra/special slider + $ 2.95 for truffle fries. Total bill was ~$ 45 for the both of us. The truffle fries are magic! Not a single drop of oil yet the truffle flavor was ever present. They must deep fry them in actual truffle oil or something. Dipping them in roasted garlic aioli was heavenly. Bring on the garlic! As for my sliders, I’ve never had bison before. Truffle bison slider has a more crumbly texture, topped with melted cheese and fresh produce. I’d definitely get this again. I’ve developed somewhat of an aversion to lamb because of fat content not blending well with my stomach, but I just had to try the Club Med. Ground lamb, beef, and ginger with an olive/artichoke spread, crumbled Feta cheese, hummus? red onions and their signature artisan bun that didn’t look as impressive in dim lighting. Lamb lovers will enjoy this, almost seemed like I was eating a gyro. I also got the Old School but had to take it home because I chowed down most of the truffle fries too soon. They gave extra dip, probably the secret sauce? It wasn’t spicy or sweet, merely pleasant; it was the perfect addition to traditional Old School, even after popping the slider in the microwave two days later! The burger was still mouthwatering. Our waiter was there when we needed him, checked on us at good times, and wasn’t overbearing. Customers all around seemed appreciative of the relaxed atmosphere in an informal but quality dining setting.

I stumbled upon this place after waiting for the Geek Squad for over an hour. I was annoyed and hungry. The sliders really hit the spot. The buns were so soft and the meat was juicy! The truffle fries were alright. I’ve had better. I got the Big Kahuna and the American Pride. Both were delicious!

I loved the mushroom burger and the squash soup. The burgers are cooked perfectly, juicy, great presence. The 3 alarm coulda definitely be hotter . I wasn’t really sensing the hotness. If you like sweet drinks, there cocktails are very sweet . There craft beers are very good. The ambiance and vibe is definitely right . The service is real good. They have a great happy hour. Didn’t quite fill me up but the food was delicious.

Came for happy hour which is awesome because it ends at 7. The appetizer and drink deals are pretty good for happy hour. We got a pitcher of the mango margarita and basil sangria. The mango margarita was pretty damn good(so good in fact that we tried making it ourselves afterwards). On the other hand, basil sangria was pretty mediocre. The wine they used was very dry so it basically tasted like semi watered down red wine. The appetizers were exactly what we expected. Truffle fries, buffalo fries, and spicy wings were all pretty decent. No complaints here. The entrée sliders were very underwhelming considering that this is a slider bar. I got the hot chick which wasn’t nearly as spicy as I thought, and the double patty slider which isn’t anything special besides that it has two patties. Both sliders were lacking in the taste department. For $ 6 a slider I also expected them to be bigger. I would be happy to come back for happy hour, but given the quality of the sliders I probably won’t come back for a meal.

I came here for Happy Hour on Friday, which ends at 7 which is nice because most other happy hours end by 6 or so! Overall, the food was pretty good, but nothing amazing. It was kind of pricey for what we got, even though we went at happy hour. The sliders were really small for their cost. Mango Margarita with Salt Rim(4⁄5) — Really tasty and not too sweet. There wasn’t much of an alcohol bite, but I definitely felt it later. Fresh Basil, Pineapple Red Sangria(3⁄5) — Okay, but it was kind of watery. I didn’t really get much of a basil or pineapple taste. Spicy Wings(4.5÷5) — Really good. Slightly spicy with a thin, crispy crust. Sometimes the skin on wings is too much and mushy for me, but these were great. Parmesan Truffle Fries(3.5÷5) — Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Well seasoned. Buffalo Bleu Fries(3⁄5) — Good, but the whole concept of buffalo fries was a bit weird for me. Hot Chick(2.5÷5) — This was in a lot of reviews, so I ordered it, but it wasn’t my favorite. The chicken was pretty dry, and there wasn’t much taste. Carolina Babe(4⁄5) — Really nice. Tangy BBQ sauce and tender meat.

My friend and I came here for dinner before heading out to Patio for some dancing! We started off with the sangria, which was good but there was WAY too much fruit floating around. Next we split a bowl of their sweet potato fries paired with their spicy sauce! The fries were crispy on the outside & soft inside which is how I prefer them. I love the amount of different sauces you could choose! For my entrée I tried two of the veggie sliders. The vegan portobello one which was wrapped in lettuce and the veggie patty in between a whole wheat roll. The vegan portobello slider was okay, it was lacking some spices & it could have used some more sauce! The veggie patty was pretty good though, I think it was made with potatoes? Service was good! They were friendly & attentive!

Let me start off my saying I am NOT a huge burger fan, but SliderBar has slithered its way into my heart and I now am a avid fan! It sits in the heart of Downtown Palo Alto, and plays nicely into the chill, classic, fun atmosphere of the area. On a Friday night, SliderBar was packed, but my group of 4 was swiftly guided to a table near the back of the house. There is outdoor seating, and indoor tables and even high-tops for parties of 2 – 3. The name in itself explains the menu, there are over 20 slider options to choose from, complete with beef, chicken, and veggie options. The most popular menu options are the 2 or 3 item combo, which includes an assortment of your choice of sliders, plus fries. They serve a variety of seasoned fries, including garlic and sweet potato. I opted for the 2 item combo and tried the 3 alarm(habanero and beef) and Hot Chick(jalapeño and lime peppered chicken). Both were mouth watering, with grass fed juicy meat, and buns buttered and toasted to complete perfection. The Bae(omg first time using Bae, does this mean I’m hip?) opted for the 3 item combo and enjoyed my same order plus the Big Kahuna, a Hawaiian themed slider. He and I were not huge fans of the big Kahuna, it seemed to be lacking flavor and the pineapple serving was too small. Let’s not forget to talk about their sauces! With every burger you can choose one dipping sauce and pay .50 cents for each additional sauce you choose! I always opt for the chipotle ketchup, and also enjoy their sirracha mayo. It’s nice when you are dining with a large group, as it becomes a bit of a tasting party with their wide assortment of sauces to choose from. I knocked a star due to what I believe is a disproportionate charge in comparison to quantity. A 3 item combo runs you 17.00, and the sliders are about 4 bites(at the most) worth of a burger. I ordered the garlic fries during my last visit, and after a 15 minute wait, they arrived cold and soggy. Luckily, our waiter was on point and quickly replaced our table with a fresh set of crispy fries. All in all, this is a great casual date night, group outing, or family-friendly establishment. Craft beer is available for all you lushes too. Meow.

I love the idea of a restaurant dedicated to sliders. I love the idea of getting to try a variety of things vs committing to one larger order. The food was pretty good. I would stick to the beef or bison sliders, folks in my party who ventured outside of those two, including myself, didn’t love them. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere aren’t great. It’s extremely noisy, making a conversation pretty tough to come by. And, they felt a bit understaffed and we were kept waiting. I’d recommend to someone who has never been, just make sure they have proper expectations.

Looking for a post yoga meal, my girl friend and I decided to try Slider Bar and grabbed seats at the counter. We didn’t have any expectations going in, but were pleased with our meal, and interested in going back. The menu contains a variety of sliders — beef, pork, chicken, veg, breakfast… for you to choose from. You could order as many or as few sliders that would satisfy your hunger. There are even combo deals for any 2 or 3 sliders + fries for an affordable price. I ended up getting a 2 slider combo meal with the Hot Chick and Naked Truth, with a side of fries and Secret Sauce. Despite my typical large appetite, I would have probably been full with just one slider and the fries. Both sliders were tasty, and left me curious to try the others. My friend also got 2 sliders with sweet potato fries, but was full after 1 slider, so she ended up taking the 2nd one home. She, too, is interested in going back to try more!

I was a fan of their Beef and Bison Sliders, but the Chicken and Pulled Pork was meh. The sliders were held together nicely and didn’t fall apart while I was eating them. They have a combo on weekdays!(Take advantage of it!!) The secret sauce was good, tasted like it had pickles in it too but my boyfriend claims its nacho cheese. The meet was cooked well, wasn’t dry at all. We were seated quickly and our server was very kind at helping us order since it was our first time there. Not the best tasting ones but still pretty good. The Sweet potato fries were so good! They give you lots of fries, yum! I’d come back again, but not a place I would crave.

I“ve been to Sliderbar a few times now and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. I love spicy food so my favorite two sliders are the 3-Alarm cheeseburger slider with jalapenos and habanero pepper jam and the Hot Chick chicken slider with Serrano chili mayo. The 3-Alarm is spicier some days than others. One time it was so hot, I felt warm inside for a few hours. :) The Hot Chick is more on the mild side but tastes fantastic. The Bravocado is also delicious with the creamy avocado topping a garlic chicken patty. For sides, I’ve had the garlic fries and the XX long sweet potato fries. Both great, but I’m INLOVE with their sweet potato fries dipped with hot chipotle ketchup. They seem to have a good happy hour. I don’t drink much but I’ve had their Stone IPA. IPAs are bitter by nature so I ordered at my own risk. It was tasty for the first few sips and then became extremely bitter with every sip thereafter. If you like bitter, Stone IPA will be up your alley. It’s on the lower spectrum of bitter. They have stronger IPAs available too. Overall, a great place to snack on appetizers and sliders or you can make it a full meal.

I am not a huge fan of American food in general, so It’s a bit difficult for me to find a place I actually like and would consider coming back again. I probably won’t be back at Sliderbar anytime soon. Their menus focuses on sliders of course but their pricing structure is silly. They have prices for one, two, or three sliders but you’re actually not getting a discount at all if you order two or more. It’s just(unit price of one) multiplied by how many you’re getting. The burger sliders were okay but they use that orange cheese that looks extremely gross when melted. The chicken and waffles slider was disappointing. The waffles were fine but the chicken that they used is a very thin chicken patty. In the South if you get chicken and waffles, you get actual fried chicken(leg, wing, or breast) and not a patty! Do it right! The blood orange lemonade was pretty good albeit a bit too sweet, so I watered it down to get it just right.

I’m not much of a «slider» person, I would much rather have a regular sized hamburger but I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time. I’ve been here a few times and I am a fan! Sliderbar is a small place with seating both inside and outside, a full bar and a few TV’s. During lunch rush hour it does tend to get a little busy so there can be a bit of a wait. The service here is good, the bartenders and waiters are very attentive and very helpful. There is usually a hostess standing right at the front door before you enter unless they are short staffed then u kind of just have to walk in, be seen or just seat yourself(this happened once). Ok now to the part you’ve all been waiting for: THEFOOD! The American Pride slider is where it’s at, it’s loaded with cheddar cheese, a big slice of smokey bacon, onion, tomato, lettuce and mayo. The beef patty is cooked to perfection and juicy, never dry or overcooked. You can’t go wrong with that! I don’t normally get mine fully dressed, I just do meat, cheese and bacon and it’s still super yummy. Not only do they have good beefy sliders with bacon goodness but they also have other options such as veggie, pork(pulled pork or meatball), chicken, veggie and breakfast sliders. So there are options for every palate. Aside from sliders they do have chicken wings, loaded fries and their popular Belgian style fries. Unfortunately I have not tried their loaded fries but I have heard they are good and there are 4 different variations such as their Dirty Fries, Parmesan Truffle Fries, BBQ Pork Fries and Buffalo Bleu Fries(I’m salivating just thinking about how good these must taste). I do however love their Belgian style fries which taste as if they are double fried because they are super crispy and they come with a choice of any of the 10 dipping sauces that they have available. I will tell you that the roasted garlic aioli is to die for, I have yet to try the others but in due time. Overall this is a great place to get good sliders and fries as well as have a drink or two, they are a little pricey but most slider joints are so this is no different but it’s worth it.
