Vans

Came in for a particular pair of sneakers I saw online, but I left with a different pair since they didn’t have the ones I originally came in for. The staff was okay, not very attentive at first but once you actually could get their attention to get your sneakers from the back room they were fine. They just kind of laced up the sneakers and handed them to you.

I don’t think this is a cool store. Much less collection than online store, and workers were not very friendly, and the space is very little.
I would not come back and just go to online store.

I must admit that before I switched to Vans I used to be a keen Keen customer. The 2014 line looks pretty hideous though, so I was forced to walk couple more blocks up the University to get me some Vans.
Very cheap shoes, less durable than Keen’s with much more stuff to choose from.
One of the downsides is, that the store is usually packed with kids so I feel very old and quite out of place there. Oh well…

This place went above and beyond for getting me the pair of sneakers I needed because the original ones I bought had a factory defect. Took about a month but I finally got my new sneakers! They are always nice here and most of the time have all products in stock… I just wish they were open later!

I thought I’d write a good review for this place after the experience my husband and I had yesterday when we went in to go get a pair of shoes for him. The service was excellent (from the person helping him get his shoes in his size to the person who rang him at the register). The register person did offer to lace his new shoes for him with the colored laces he ended up getting, which he gladly accepted. He was able to walk out of the store wearing his new shoes as a happy customer.

Awesome maxis for great price. Marc was super attentive and checked on me in the dressing room multiple times so i didnt need to leave the room. Buy one get one half off all sale items.

We were just walking on University Ave when the lil man saw this store and asked if we could check out some shoes. It’s actually my first time in this store eventhough I work here in Palo Alto. They do have a decent amount of styles for both adults and kids. Even saw a cool pair for women that will be nice with shorts but today is about the little guy.
After looking at the display he decided to get the Old Skool style shoes. Paige was the one who helped us. I asked for a size 2 and she told me that Vans sizes are bigger than usual so she went in the back and brought out 4 pairs. Size 1, 1.5 and 2 and 2.5. How nice is that?
The place was not that busy so we were in and out of the store in less than 20minutes with a nice pair of kicks

Nice clean store with super customer service. The girls working for friendly, helpful, and seemed to enjoy their job. We didn’t have to wait long to be helped and they had what we needed in stock. They’re stuff is a bit pricey for what I usually pay for shoes (yeah, I go to Payless Shoe Source… such a peasant right?!), but overall I’m happy with the purchase and the great service.
I would definitely visit this location again!

One of my favorite go-​to places! For the holidays, for special occasions, or just for a nice dinner. They are very accommodating, with great customer-​service! I love their steaks, salads, baked potato which comes with a fancy tray of toppings to decorate however you like, great calamari, great pasta, great EVERYTHING.
The view is impeccable and breathtaking unless you have food in your mouth (WARNING! Make sure not to choke from the breathtaking view and to close your mouth if you have food in it while you gasp in Ahhhhhhh!)

By far the best Van’s store I’ve been to in a while. Very relaxing fun atmosphere. Wish the workers were more attentive, but they apologized when I asked for service so It was all good. Never knew Van’s had so many cool shoes. Not like I remembered them as a kid. Ha.

If you like vans… this is the place to come.

I was late getting to their store and peeked in the widow just after they locked the door. The opened it up and welcomed me in (they still had some customers trying things on…)
Very clean, and well organized store. Great products. I will surely be back, and have already recommended that friends visit this new store.

Darn! Was hoping to be the first to review since I saw the store BEFORE it opened and somehow ended up going there opening day but oh well :) props to Roland B.
I was curious about this store on Thursday night last week when I walked by with the bf after a huge dinner at Coupa. I had no idea that it hadn’t opened yet and all we saw were two HUGE Van shoes in the display window. The next day, being back in PA again, we decided to stop by. To our surprise, it was their grand opening day where they were giving 30% off the entire store!
I must say, this was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had in any store, grand opening or not, for a long time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they worked very well despite the fact that it was opening day and it was extremely busy and got kind of crazy when we were there. They went the extra mile to even recommend different shoes when they did not have my size I wanted in the pattern I wanted and same with the bf.
They brought out so many pairs of shoes, it made the decision difficult but fun to explore all of our options. Even though they were swamped, they were still dedicated to be on top of things to ensure that they did not miss other customers and did not skimp on customer service even though they were busy.
This store is also well setup and pretty organized. A+!

First to buy a pair of shoes and first to review this new store on Unilocal!Crazy stoked to have my pair of fresh kicks: Classic Slip-​Ons in Pewter/​BluHaze. The guys in the store were helpful and super cool. Having this and American Apparel only a short block away, what more could I ask for?
