Had the fried zydeco, bacon was very dry and old my wife found a deep fried hair in her fries. The meat on her steak sandwich was also very dry and old.

Stopped in for oysters at 4, large, raw, the best. Talked us into staying for cradads at 6, the band did a fine job and many beers later walked home. The employees were a joy to be around. Went back Saturday at 6, more oysters, the band was a 12 on the 1 to 10 scale. Took me back to the 70s and my college days. Cant remember when I’ve had so much fun.

We heard so much about this place so we had to try it out. The service at the bar could have been better, they had live music and were fairly busy. Gumbo was excellent! The bayou shrimp and fried shrimp were very good.

Great service and atmosphere. The food is decently priced especially for the quality. Would definitely come here again.

We were here twice for the Sunday brunch over the last month, mainly because I saw the andouille sausage biscuits & gravy on the menu. I am totally in love with their biscuits & gravy — the biscuits themselves are so fluffy and tender, they are the best I ever had. And the sausage gravy was excellent! Hubby had the hash and loved that as well. We really enjoyed the live music playing during brunch too. Great service and no long wait both visits. Loved this place!

Food was great. Got the shrimp and lobster grits that were to die for and the house specialty drink«swamp juice» that tasted great without breaking the bank. The only reason it got 3 star instead of 4 is we had to wait and wait for a server.

My husband and I loved this place so much we ate here twice during our recent vacation! The atmosphere was awesome, the service(April both times!) was great, the prices were excellent, the serving size was good, and the food was DIVINE! Our first night? I got the fried zydeco(fried green tomato BLT) and it was glorious! My husband got the Nawlins poboy and loved it! Our second trip, I got a bowl of gumbo and wanted to lick the bowl. My husband got the Mardi Gras poboy and loved it even more than the Nawlins! We enjoyed live music both nights we were there. During our seven day vacation, this was, by far, our favorite dining experience!

We were a little skeptical about trying this place but we were really wanting some good creole so we decided to try it out. It did not disappoint us! We started off with Boudin Balls and they were wonderful and I even liked the sauce that came with them. I got the hurricane burger which was beef and sausage mixed and it had slaw, fried green tomatoes, and voodoo sauce on it. It was very good, but the fried green tomato was a little lost in it. Ill try something different next time, but I am really glad I got to try that burger! All of the appetizers sounded amazing and it was hard for me to choose a meal because of all of their choices! The service was good and the atmosphere was even better. We struggled trying to find all of the football games at restaurants and was happy to be able to watch the game while eating yummy food! We’ll be back next vacation!

The shrimp and grits are excellent. The options are pricey but it’s a nice and fun atmosphere for having a few drinks and dancing. Boudin balls are fabulous.

The music is fun; The food, not so much. Our food was luke warm & not all that tasty. The service & band could not be more friendly. It looks like a great place to listen to music, dance & drink.

Overrated based on my experience. While my entrée was good, the sides were forgettable and the appetizer only okay. Service was poor. She was more focused on hurrying through our interaction than on listening to my order. The music was nice though. Maybe just go here for drinks and apps and go to Davids snoballs for excellent food instead.

Only so so service. Fried platter was excellent, but the tartar sauce served in fast food style packages was a big turn off. We had sides of green beans and Cajun rice which were very bland and tasteless. I think they’re more interested in being a tourist attraction than serving good food.

Servers are friendly but that’s about it here. Growing up in Mobile Alabama I am very accustom to authentic Cajun cuisine and this place is NOT it. They have the verbiage down but unfortunately not the recipes. After a pound of salt my crawfish étouffée was edible. The rice was so bland and some underdone. Who has to add salt to a roux at the table! Flavors just weren’t there. Wouldn’t come back.

Great food! The gumbo is filled with tender chicken and spicy sausage pieces. But not too spicy! The bayou shrimp are fried and tossed in their own unique sauce. Really good, too! We enjoyed the happy hour wine special on Wednesday and the live music.

YES. YES. YES. LOVE this place!!! I am a Louisiana girl who moved to PC a couple of years ago. This is one of my all-time favorite places to eat in PC. DELICIOUS sandwiches… especially the shrimp po-boy! You HAVE to get the boudain balls. I have never had a batch that wasn’t perfect with such a perfectly crispy outer layer. Oh yum. Super fun place to go watch the Saints play on football Sundays. They give out free shots or cups or goodies every now and then and do $ 5 pitchers of domestic draft during games. I can’t say too many good things about this place… and now I am hungry! The first time I went, I got the two doors confused and really thought this was a sketchy hole-in-the-wall, but a football/college friend of mine who also lives here now had highly recommended it. I am so glad that I popped in and found this gem. Super cool.

This is a great place with good food. Happy Hour draft was only $ 1, imagine that. Hubby got the fried shrimp basket and I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The bun was so fresh and good. We were there for Happy Hour on Sunday. A really good band called the Blue Ribbon Healers were performing. They were great. It’s Crawfish season so everyone was ordering huge platters of Crawfish. I don’t know how to eat them so I passed on that.

The gumbo was really good! Since it was Monday they had red beans and rice. Again really good! Great prices and service. The band was also cool! If you are a LSU or NOLAFAN You will be home here!
