I live down the street from Goto king and I love the home style Filipino food! My favorites here are the breakfasts like beef tapa, tocino, and the daing bangus and I’m sure they serve it all day as well which is a huge plus! They also serve various Filipino dishes which you can get as a combination with rice. I’m coming back to try the other foods they have to offer like the Goto and tokwat baboy

They need to improve on their tapa and garlic rice. The tapa is over cooked while the garlic rice doesn’t really taste anything like it, they need more salt and garlic to their rice. The place needs some work, not kind of inviting from the inside and out. Looks dull and not maintained.

Ordered tapsilog, tapa is too sour. And fried rice smells like almost expired, ended up in the trash.

This place deserve 2 stars only. The place is small and not that clean. It is hot in there, seems like AC was not turned on. The food is ok but serving size is really snall and so STINGY. I dont recommend the Bangus for it will be served with scales. Service was not that good and they don’t let you use the restroom even though they have one. I took my sister for breakfast but was disappointed. The ambiance was terrible. It really needs improvement and to match serving size with all the other restaurants around. Hopefully improvements will be made

Tried this place out for lunch a few times. It’s a whole in the wall mom and pop Filipino restaurant. The owners are very friendly. The food is authentic and prices are reasonable. Their hours are just a little weird though. Sometimes they’re closed in the middle of the day. They cook the food when you order so be prepared to wait a while. They serve Filipino breakfast all day but their portions are small.

Goto king is the go to for Filipino breakfast if you’re in the area, they have all kinds of silogs. If you want fresh legit breakfast made to order then come here. Although this spot is a little small, the service is always on point and the people are very welcoming they make you feel at home. The prices are good and reasonable.

Best Filipino breakfast around. Cornedbeef, tapa, longonisa, garlic rice etc. so good nice portions as well. They also have other types of Filipino food to choose from including their sizzling sisig. They have complimentary cucumber water to quench your thirst as well. All in all if you’re looking for Filipino food anytime of the day with friendly staff you should check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Now that I’ve eaten here several more times after my last review, I can say that this joint has grown on me. They’re a lot friendlier, cleaner, they’re open when they say they will be, and the food brings me back home! They play The Filipino Channel and they have all kinds of Filipino food: tapsilog, bangus, adobo, you name it! It just like eating at Tito’s house for dinner! They also have reliable catering services, not to mention cheap services as well! They’ve catered for us 3 times and they’ve been punctual with their deadline and the quality of the food is still great! At parties, everyone always asks us if we made the food because it tastes so «home-y». But we say we went to Goto King! Hopefully this business continues to flourish — it’s a wonderful restaurant.

I was at the market in the same complex and decided to stop in here for some lunch. I didn’t know what anything was but the nice man that helped me recommended breakfast which he made for me and it was delicious. He brought me some sausage to try which was also very tasty. Then a lovely woman brought me some porridge to try which I enjoyed very much. I felt so welcome and left absolutely stuffed. I really appreciate how nice everyone was and how they took the time to share their food and culture with me. I will absolutely be back!

Their Bicol express is the best!!! They serve breakfast items all day which is always a plus for me. Great service and amazing food! My go-to place for catering as well! Husband and wife staff but more than good enough customer service!!! Two thumbs up!

I come here for their breakfast even if it takes me 35 mins of traffic and prices are reasonable. Not too many filipino food places open as early as 8am! Friendly, courteous staff. My son and I are pescatarians, so all we order here is the breakfast bangus!

I love eating street food in Manila, but this place brings back the authentic street vendor flavor that you’ll get in Manila, perhaps even the best I’ve ever had. WOW! Customer service? Top notch! They kno how to do the business right

Fast service, great and affordable food. The guy that took care of us was very nice and asked us many times if we needed anything else like coffee, extra plates… Open early even though since says 8 they opened at 7am for us. If you want authentic Filipino food, come here! Breakfast is the best!

I’m used to eating fatty food which I truly enjoy. Try their Goto w/Pork Intestine and Tokwat Baboy definitely a must try. People with tight budget can get lunch here for $ 6.00 which comes with 2 entrée and 2 cups of rice. I also love their Pork Ears and Pork Intestines which you have a choice of grilled or deep fried. They offer rice breakfast meal all day long. Go… it’s a must try!

If you’re craving for a tasty rice porridge, skip the Chinese restaurants as this hole in the wall Filipino restaurant serves tasty arroz caldo(porridge with chicken) and goto(porridge with pork/beef innards). I personally loved their goto. It’s flavorful and comforting especially in the cold weather. Their tapsilog(fried marinated beef called tapa+ garlic rice aka sinangag +sunny side up egg or in Tagalog, itlog, thus the combo meal termed as «TAPSILOG». Affordable food, tasty, no frills restaurant. Don’t expect anything on the ambiance and it doesn’t have a restroom either. But still, if you just simply want a nice, comforting, warm rice porridge, you know where to go. =)

The best beef isaw. Your choice wether grilled or fried. My hubby likes their goto because of the innards. I crave it now & then. Had my parents tried it, and they now crave & look for it.

Had the porkchopsilog tonight. It looked quite appetizing until i tried it. The pork chop was like the saltiest food i ever tasted! It tasted like it was mixed with gallons of salt. To top it off, i saw a strand of hair in my rice! GROSS!!! Never eating food from there again! Felt bad, but had to dump my food before i vomit.

I’m really glad I found this hole-in-the-wall place that serves congee(rice porridge). Now I don’t have to make it myself when the mood strikes me. So far I’ve only tried their goto/arrozcaldo and bihon guisado when my sister brought it for me when I was sick like a dog. The goto was flavorful and it was just the right amount of consistency the way I like it. Not too watery and not too clumpy. The bihon guisado(a type/style of pancit) surprised me. It was really delicious. Now, I’m not a pancit eater so I could care less for any pancit dish. But I found myself devouring this particular pancit. I’m not good at describing what’s in it and what went into it. So I hope you are already familiar with the names and terms used for pancit dishes. Or maybe you know or have a filipino friend who can explain it better. As for me, I let my palate and my taste buds decide if I’ll continue to savor the goodness of the dish or spit it back out. I gobbled these up like a hungry wolf! Well, maybe I was just hungry because I have been sick and not eaten for almost a day and a half. They accept made to order Lechon(Roast Pig) and Lechon Manok(Roast Chicken) w/garlic sauce. They do catering and accept party tray orders for a variety of dish they serve. I’ll come back here and try their other stuff. But mostly I’m here because of the goto/arrozcaldo. :) The one time I tried to go to the place, I made it 5 minutes before closing(8:30PM) but it was already too late to order what I wanted(bihon guisado). The place is very small. Maybe 2 – 3 tables that seats 2 to 4 person… I don’t know… I was in a hurry trying to leave because there is this lady inside the restaurant asking for my telephone/cell #. She was hawking her term life insurance. Apparently she is a business partner of said restaurant. So beware if your order comes with a pitch for a life insurance…
