Went for my birthday 1 – 17 with a couple of friends. The servers did a happy birthday song to me but, two of the girls made faces like they just didn’t want to do that, also earlier one of the girls was complaining that she didn’t want to be there. All three of us had a horrible meal!!!1– meal was returned after 2 bite with no reorder they still charged us for it. It was over $ 55 Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life!!! And the worst thing was the Bloody Mary’s were horrible. When I ordered a top shelf margarita a few months ago I had to send it back EEK! Guess a regular margarita is your best way to go.

Been here once and can’t wait to return. I’m leaving a review for only being here one time because I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy their salsa, guacamole, re-fried beans, and rice were. I also thought the shredded beef was superb. Service was also very friendly.

Great service and good food. Nathan ate the bigger St burrito we’d ever seen in our lives! The 3 stars is because their salsa was not so good. I had a beef enchilada and a chicken taco. Both were hot and had alot of meat on them. Would have lined some sour cream with them. The Margarita Dean had was huge for $ 9 and tasted pretty good.

We used to come here regularly for fairly decent food and yummy salsa. But recently we had a horrible experience. I’m not sure what was in my tostada but something tasted like what road kill smells like. I almost threw up. Need I say more? We will never ever return. Sorry guys. You need to work on quality control.

To be clear — 2 stars for food — but the extra star because my margarita was not a weak one! Trying out all the Mexican places in town and I can’t say much about this one. I’ve eaten authentic Mexican food my whole life, and there’s stiff competition around here so I’m taking my options into consideration when reviewing. I ordered mole enchiladas and my husband got a combination plate of multiple things. We weren’t blown away by any of it. The rice did not taste freshly made that day, the flavors were lacking but overall you get what you’d get at any typical Mexican restaurant. Where I see a major downfall is the pricing… You can’t serve mediocre food and expect me to pay $ 15 for it when I can go to the taco stand down the road for the same food for $ 5. The margaritas were strong and good-$ 8 for a signature one is a bit up there but they didn’t skimp out so I didn’t mind.

My families favorite place to eat in Paradise! The food is always good and the salsa is the best EVER! Also great margaritas as long as you request Patron. The service is fast and great and a couple of the waitresses have been so wonderful I consider them friends.(Shannon and Michelle)

Hard to find good Mexican food this high up in California, especially with a bunch of whities running the place. Mediocre at best.

Great mexican food. The portions are big. Even thou it can be full sometimes, the service is quick. The waiters are amazing and the price is definitely worth for the serving.

We were visiting paradise over a weekend and tried this place. The food was blah and lacked flavor. The only thing we really liked were the refried beans. We had the chile rellenos, which were just bland and eggy. There was no stem on chili, so maybe used canned chili? The beef fajitas had some tough pieces. The pork carnitas taco was just ok. My husband did not finish his dinner, saying it was just lacked taste. Chips and salsa were just ok. We will not return.

Although they had friendly service but my husband and I both got food poisoning. We won’t be going back. I would avoid the seafood if I was you. Or skip it altogether if want to be safe. Besides getting sick there food was gross.

My husband was up 4 times last night in the bathroom. We had my sons bday party there… They did NOTHING to recognize his birthday. I purchased the fried ice cream. Which was the best part of the meal… I have not yet talked to my son and his wife. I will NEVER ever go back there again,

The food has a lot of flavor, and it is not expensive. Last time I went I tried a salad my friend recommended — I forgot the name but it had a chipotle dressing on it. To. Die. For. The best part was the shell though — I could make a meal out of that! It was even good left over too :). The only negative is the service is slow when they’re busy. They could use a couple extra waiters, and even an extra person just to refill waters because that never happened more than once when we were there either.

Staying at a hotel down the road, came in here looking for some quick takeout. The staff were friendly and very prompt with taking my order, and my food came out a lot faster than I anticipated. However, I wouldn’t have minded waiting a few more minutes for a little more flavour in the food. Got the chicken taquitos and the chicken quesadilla. Portions were more than generous and everything was cooked perfectly. However the chicken tasted like it had no seasoning in it at all. The quesadilla just had the unseasoned chicken and cheese in the tortilla. Again, not exactly a complaint, but I would have liked some more flavour. When I’m in town again I’ll likely try them, but probably get something else.

Rice was mushy. Enchiladas reminded me of frozen tv dinner enchiladas. So gross. The only things I liked were the beans and the salsa. The service was solid. I just wish the food was better. I fed my leftovers to the dog. At least he enjoyed it. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

So disappointed. We came to dinner tonight after not having visited in about two years. Before, it had been nothing short of amazing. Tonight was very different. First of all, there were about seven servers kind of just standing around, chatting and only really working when absolutely necessary. It doesn’t look very professional when there are customers to have people just hanging out. Our server, while very nice, was kind of incompetent. He messed up my boyfriends order. Also while I was noticeably not eating my food, he didn’t ask if there was anything wrong. I ordered a beef quesadilla suprema. It was absolutely disgusting. The beef was so greasy and soggy that it made the food just a soggy mess. I also ordered veggie taquitos which were nothing like I thought they would be, very salty and just not appetizing. My boyfriend orders a combo plate, which included a taco, cheese enchilada and a chile rieno(spelling?). He was brought out just the taco and had finished that, assuming the others would be on a separate plate. About twenty minutes later the waiter came back and my boyfriend had asked where the other food was. The waiter looking confused and was like«did you order something else?». After that was sorted out, he was brought the chile and the enchilada, which was chicken, not cheese. After we were finished with our meal, the waiter still didn’t ask how it was. We went up to pay and had finally been asked how it was. After honestly saying it was the worst meal we had ever had, the cashier had made no offer to rectify the situation. We used to love this place but it seems they’ve gotten lazy. We will not be eating there again.

Great food. Consistent. I love the fajita burrito. Delicious with the homemade salsa, guacamole, and fresh pico de gallo. Not goopy with bean filler. Just nice grilled onions, peppers, and chicken. My family comes here everytime we are in town.
