Coco Amatrice

Mmmm Delish! What do I say about this place? Fantastic service and the gelato is to die for, love the Nutella flavor. You can taste before you buy = amazing! Also, they wrap everything and make it pretty for you to gift. I had some chocolates shipped internationally without problems.

From staff to selection, this place is all around amazing. Their gelato is fantastic and they’ll let you sample to your heart’s content (though don’t even bother — just get a scoop of the dark chocolate with a scoop of raspberry), they have a wide variety of flavors for their chocolate, and their sipping chocolate is delicious, too.
Seriously, artisan chocolates available (though not made!) locally? Don’t bother with See’s. I am not trying to be a chocolate snob because so help me, I will scarf down a bag of Reese’s as fast as the next junk-​loving chumba, but after my husband introduced me to gourmet chocolates years back while we were still dating, I understood. There is a difference. It is worth it.
As for the storefront, I much preferred the atmosphere of the previous place as it felt warmer and cozier, but I think with some work they can achieve the same at their new location.
Now that I have moved away I’m going to miss them, but whenever I am down in northern California again I will definitely be stopping by. I loved you, Coco Amatrice!

Great little shop, good assortment available for Valentine’s Day. Employee’s almost too knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Sipping chocolate is fabulous and available year round!

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, and fantastic chocolate to boot. Owners always welcome you in and are never too busy for a conversation or to patiently let you try a bunch of samples. Very comfy sofas too, to relax and savor some yummy chocolate.

The owners are levely and kind people with a passion for chocolate. I love going to the shop and gettign a sampel of sipping chocolate and the truffles are to die for! Very nice atmosphere as well. You just have to stop in!

This place is a lot of fun with a great atmosphere to relax in and enjoy some chocolate whatevers. They have a nice selection of Gelato that is ever-​changing, and they do not limit the number of samples. Literally you can try them all. Chocolates are pricey, but they are gourmet.

The staff is amazing! We went to Coco Amatrice today and it was an amazing experience! The gelato is so delicious and the owner took the time to explain where the gelato is from. The truffles were divine. The owner even recommended a tea that was perfect for me. The atmosphere itself is very comfortable and makes you want to spend the day reading or playing board games there. Next time family or friends visit Chico, I’m taking them to Coco Amatrice in Paradise!

The store has a friendly staff that invites you to sample their delicious products. Don’t limit your sampling just to the specialty cholocates and gelatos. Browse around and look at the shelf displays. There are more samples to be had there. There is even comfortable seating for you to sit and enjoy your hot chocolate, gelato, or chocolate candy purchases with your friends.

Artisan Chocolates & Tasting Salon (stated on their business card)…Pam & I took one of our many walks which just eventually took us to this great reward which is not my 1^st time here but was hers… Plenty of comfortable seating… Open til 7:00 PM everyday but not Sunday & Monday… Street parking… Plenty of quality chocolates & mints to taste (sipping chocolate) which we did… Whole cocoa beans to taste… Liquids & solids… Gifts (quality chocolates for her Dad)…Great window to see the cars going by… We love quality chocolates and this place is that… Dark is great for our health…
