Was in Paradise for the first time on May 15th, Sunday. Looking at a home for rent. We had never been to Paradise before. I love diners and decided to pull into Cozy Diner on Skyway in Paradise for a bite to eat and to check it out. We checked out the buffet and the salad bar. We probably should have left right then and there. However, we are daring individuals and decided to give it a try anyway. You know how hunger goes, it’s hard to think clearly until you eat. So we went for it. Mistake. Yuck. Never again. The salad bar left much to be desired. I mean really, there was much to be desired because there was hardly anything there other than lettuce and a few messed up, undesirable items to put on your salad. The tomatoes were just the worst mangled heap of chopped up tomato mush. And a color other than red. Really gross. Items at the buffet looked horrible. And tasted the same. Very low quality food. Not recommended for people who enjoy fresh foods prepared and cooked properly. The experience takes me back to buffets in North Las Vegas back in the eighties. I was stationed near there at Nellis Air Force Base. The food on the base was better than in the casinos. We learned quickly to avoid those cheap, low quality buffets.

The food, the service and the management are all awesome at this diner. I am in town working and thought I would try this place out for dinner and sure glad I did. I had the Captains Platter and omg the fish is delicious and the shrimp was great. The baked potato was wonderful with bacon and cheese. Speedy service never an empty glass at the table and the manager came by twice to make sure everything was ok. Then you get a free slice of pie on Tuesday!!! Didn’t really have room for it but it was so good I at it anyways. I don’t give 5 stars often but they deserve it.

Nice place to take the family for any meal. They have a little bit of everything on the menu.

We had a good breakfast at this restaurant with my wife’s siblings. I am glad my brother-in-law suggested that I get the hash browns extra crispy. Good bacon, but a little bit fatty. Eggs were perfect. Very good coffee. The pies looked awful tempting, but I guess they would not go with breakfast. I will have to insist on lunch here the next time I am in Paradise so I can try some of their pie. Very good service. Parking is adequate.

Nice place. But a little too pricey for a diner.

Since there aren’t many options in Paradise, and because my Grandpa loves this place, I find myself here at least twice when I’m visiting. I think they have a great selection with lots to choose from. They also have a buffet at least once or more times a week, It usually has tons of different items, but buffets aren’t usually my thing, so I usually stick to the menu if I can. However they have the best, I mean BEST deserts! Their staff is also extremely kind, and welcoming and treat you like one of their own.

Standard diner fare. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I’ll go there again in the future, but would also like to try out the other dinners in town.

Usually we get quick and efficient service, but the food can be a hit or miss affair. The fried chicken is always good, but the mash potatoes kind of sucked. All in all — decent portion size for the money & a good family restaurant. The all-you-can eat buffet is usually a good deal.

Nice people, good food, friendly staff. I’m a regular and, with so many diners in towmpn would not be if they didn’t treat me right. I recommend it.

Average. Don’t expect anything spectaculor. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Best for breakfast.
