I joined the gym and then I had to cancel-​not to long after I joined. I was given different information by associates. I was not told that I would get still get charged for another month. I called on the phone and told that if I cancel before the 23^rd, there would be no additional charge. I went into the location and I was told I would get another charge 17.90. I sent an email and no one got back to me. I will tell everyone I know not to join, as their associates don’t know what they are talking about. I was misled. I am also disappointed that no one got back to me. I feel they are very unprofessional.

I like this gym because it’s really convenient for me. They are cheap, monthly is less than $ 20 but they don’t have some of the equipments mostly for abd workout and decline chest press otherwise I like the place.

Very clean, polite, friendly staff and decent separation between gym machines (in good/​new condition). There’s no towel service but the pricing $ 15−25/mo is pretty good (bang for the buck). They do sell towels, ear buds and etc inexpensively if you forget to bring yours.
The locker room is a bit small but no tv’s to slow down people when they’re changing. (Like the $ 50/​mo 24 Hour Fitness down the road.) Also, not that many TV’s near weights/​equipment other than near cardio machines (where they really belong) to slow down people from watching and hoarding machines/​gym equipment while they watch their sports (like 24 Hour Fitness down the road).
Most gym goers are friendly and will let you jump in if you need to but, there’s enough equipment free to use generally. Of course you have that one crazy person in a lavender cap that sits on a machine for like 30 – 45 mins but, other than that, it’s a really nice well maintained gym.
Bring your own lock, shampoo/​conditioner. Big perk, Whole Foods next door and Trader Joe’s about 8 mins away if you’re serious about working out, cooking and eating healthy.
Overall, I would recommend the gym if you don’t need/​want a pool, sauna, steam room, towel service or child care services and just need a clean place to work out.

Clean place … equipment always works … only complaint is the space and equipment variety. Can’t beat $ 20 per month and a free guest.

I like this place for what it is. it’s kept clean and the staff is friendly. I wish the shower area was a little bigger just because it’s uncomfortable to take a shower outside of your own home anyway, the least they could have is a small changing area for once you get out, but at $ 15 a month how can you go wrong. good place, nice atmosphere.

Although I am not a member here anymore and have upgraded to Equinox, I have to give this 5 stars for a few reasons.
Pros:
1). Prices are ridiculously cheap for a gym and on top of that you can cancel at any time! $ 15 for a year membership, $ 20 for month to month.
2). Very clean, new and has all the equipment you would expect from a gym.
3). Never super crowded, although parking can be as it’s in a retail shopping center.
4). You can sign up at the Kiosk and don’t need to hear the «Why you should join this gym speech».
5). Friendly staff
Cons:
1). No classes. So if you are into classes it’ll be a bummer.
2). Weight area isn’t spacious.
3). No food options
4). Not a «Lifestyle» center like Equinox is
This is Equinox’s little sister. It’s like what the Aloft hotel is to the W Hotel… a watered down version thats cheaper. If you are good with working out and motivating yourself then this is the gym for you. It has everything you need. Modern, great equipment and clean.
Reason I quit was because I am the laziest and most pretentious Bergen County girl ever. Blink is so cheap and such a great value that it just felt wrong for me to tell my JAP’s (Jewish American Princess) that I belong to Blink.

This gym is starting to go down hill. First they cut back on the cleaning staff, machines, TV’s and earphone jack stay broken for months. There use to be a mixed crowd but I have noticed lately a lot more young people (student type). This is a good starter gym and for $ 20.00 per month + tax if guess it’s Ok. Since the summer’s coming I will be outside more, but this coming fall I will definitely be looking elsewhere. Plenty of other places to go that include classes at a reasonable price.

I j ust signed up last week and so far so good. I usually come into the gym at 5:15PM and i am able to gave access to the equipment. The one time i came in aroubd 7PM and it was a little crowded, but it wasnt terrible.
The other thing I do like about Blink is the inspirational quotes on the wall and the helpful excercise cards. Cant wait to continue being a member at this gym.

We enjoy our workouts for the price we pay. All their membership plans are affordable. For $ 20 I have access for one more added guest with me. Since the prices are low they dont have any classes, but you can take one to one gym sessions with their instructors for an additional value.
This gym is very clean, all the equipment’s are working and clean. This location get pretty crowded during certain hours of the day.

I started in Jan 2012, fell off the wagon in 2 months! Got back on May 2014 and have been regular since then. 3 – 5 days a week. I usually come at 5 a.m. during the week so it’s not crowded at all, just the early morning regulars, faces you see often. Sat/​Sunday I get in sometime between 9 – 11 a.m. and it can get busy at times but still never to the point that you don’t get machines for cardio.
Overall, I still like the place, lots of cardio machines so there’s never an issue getting your cardio workout. Machines are well maintained. Place is generally quite clean, some days more than others. Staff is friendly.
******My only gripe is that they moved the floor space workout area to the back of the gym a few months back and the space is not as wide as it was when it was in the front (by the lockers). So it seems you are always in someone’s way or someone is in yours. Kind of claustrophobic too.
It still a basic gym with plenty of machines but no classes, but that’s ok from price point. You can buy additional sessions with personal trainer, but I have not personally tried that so can’t speak for level of competency.

It’s all right for cardio bunnies. Not for bodybuilder types. If you are a true weight lifter you will not like it. Staff are rude and do nothing. The place is overcrowded with seniors who got free admission who sit one machines and have conversations while Never using the machines. Then they complain if any weight makes a sound interrupting their conversation. Avoid the locker room as they fail to use towels. If you can go early it is decent. Once they come you lose any chance.
Good cardio equipment.

I really like the gym. It doesnt get packed and it has all of the necessities. That being said, I was in town for about 12 days and did not want to ruin my gym routine but the gym did not offer a week trial or anything like that. Instead, they had me pay for a 45 day membership.
My only negative experience was on new years day — the staff was lounging around and on my way out one of the guys working the front desk was cat calling which is totally inappropriate specially since everyone just wants to feel comfortable at the gym they go to. If I actually lived in the state and this was my home gym, I would have 100% spoken to a manager about the employees behavior and requested a refund for my membership. But since my visit was short, I decided my fitness was more important.

I’ve been a member for a little over a year and I still really like this place. They just got a bunch of new cardio equipment. The treadmills are Precors and if they’re not top of the line, they’re close. At this price point it’s an unbeatable deal in my opinion.

Clean with an outstanding array of equipment. If the staff were friendlier I would think they are Ecstasy. Overall, the best gym in Clifton. In fact, I pointed out to a staff member that one ab machine wasn’t working well. It was adjusted by my next visit.

Easy to sign up, easy to cancel (as I ended up moving to a gym closer to my job with a discount through my company), and staff seem pretty friendly.
The best part is definitely the price. Also, the equipment is relatively new and clean. Because of the low price, note that not a lot is provided to you (i.e., no WiFi, no towels, no locks, etc.).
But for the price, this is a nice gym.

Came on a Sunday around 11AM. Location was not packed and there were many machines available. The bathrooms are clean.
The machines could be a little newer but they were pretty good.
Overall good location.

Where do I even begin!!! I joined Blink July 2013, a side for being a member at the local CKO gym. I was looking for something basic and Blink seemed like a good fit. Blink, is own by Equinox gyms.
August 2013 I suffered an L Hip wear injury– the cartilage of my Left Hip thinned I’m basically bone on bone. I was force to cancel my kickboxing membership. After the MRI I begun extensive physical therapy and to ensure I wouldn’t further hurt myself I purchased 10 personal training sessions. I informed the trainer of my injury and was told he had knowledge of injuries… Little did I know he didn’t have a clue! Within a 2 weeks of my sessions my hip pain went up to a high if 10, I ran back to the doctor’s office and the XRAY should bursitis and extreme inflammation causing pain from my left quad back to my lower back.
In earlier February I had 2 very painful injections done, and I was out of doing any activity for 2 weeks. I reached out to Blink Paramus informing them of my conditions, my doctor asked me to cancel my membership and discontinue my personal training sessions. I was told by management that despite me having a medical condition or a doctor’s note that in order to cancel I would have to pay a fee of $ 60. But my personal training session would be lost. I was furious!!! How is that possible!
I then reached out to the corporate office and this is what I was told”
«Good morning,
We sincerely apologize for your situation for not being able to work out and use your training sessions. However, in your agreement # 17 states: All sales of Personal Training sessions are final and non-​refundable. Personal Training sessions expire 180 days from the date of purchase.
There is an option that you may want to place the amount onto your membership as a credit towards further monthly dues. please let me know if you would like us to do that for you.»
First of all, my membership ends in July and I have 7 sessions left– how is 4 months 21.00×4= $ 84 equivalent to sessions I paid $ 288.90 for? Mind you I haven’t used the gym in months and being force to keep membership I had to pay the annual maintenance fee and everything.
I am in complete disgust of this gym and its policies.

Time for an update… Yup, still good!
Machines break and sometimes it takes a while for them to get fixed.
But for the price and location and the variety of machines, you really can’t beat it. Haven’t found a better deal anywhere around here.

I joined at the tail end of December and have been here a few times as I’m just getting back into a routine. So far I’m pleased with Blink.
I like that the gym is no-​frills. No juice bar, no basketball court, no pool — just cardio and weights. The gym is always pretty clean. I don’t see debris or anything lying about. The one occassion I’ve used the bathroom/​locker room I noticed that it was pretty clean.
Some FYI’s:
— they do not provide towels
— the vending machine only accepts cash or CREDIT cards, NO debit cards
— if you want a locker, bring a lock
— personal training sessions are $ 30 each or you can buy them in 5 or 10 packs.
For me, this gym is perfect. It’s only $ 15/​mo so my bank account is pleased as well. They also offer a $ 20/​mo plan if you’d like to visit more than one location.
All in all if you’re looking for a basic gym to work out in, maybe have a PT session every now and then, this is a great gym.
