three words: SOMANYTOPPINGS i love this froyo place. I come here all the time and on each visit they always have at least one new flavor. It’s in a great location(center of the mall) and they have seating within the shop and outside of it(still indoors though).

much less toppings than when first opened. not very friendly cashiers, or maybe it’s just us. told kid they had no wifi when obviously they do hv for the iPads that do work, better if the cashier just said they can’t give out the password. won’t be coming back and I don’t think they really care if we or not.

Wow… tried out after Cups closed across the way. Thought we’d be in for a surprise and we were. Dirty tables, powerless iPads, unfriendly staff, poor topping selection. Off to Tutti Frutti at GSP.

i love froyo places that let you top your own toppings! this place has at least 10 different flavors, with a variety of toppings, charge by the weight. very straightforward.

Superior to Cups, if only because the terrible music is not as loud. Yogurt tastes good and of course tons of topping choices. Price is reasonable as well.

Frozen yogurt alone gives this place five star… low fat option, even better. What I like the most about this place as opposed to Cups is that it has«crunch» at the beginning by the containers so that you could put it at bottom of your container and have a delicious crunchy treat on the bottom. I also really enjoy their sherbet flavors, my favorite is the kiwi strawberry. The kids who work here are always really friendly. My favorite froyo place to go to!!!

Begrudgingly I’ve made this our regular froyo spot after Yo Boys in Teaneck moved to Florida. Plenty of yogurt options, good enough topping choices. Pro tip — you get 10% off if you’re a member at Blink Fitness(or maybe it’s 15%).

— good consistency on their frozen yogurt — most of the flavors are good(my favorites are mint and brownie = mint brownie) — like how they give you the option of putting toppings as a base AND on top — ipads on the tables are a PLUS

There are only two sizes available here; big and bigger. I’m a purist when it comes to ice cream(and mint chocolate chip if its available) but they have a ton of flavors and toppings. If you are indecisive, this may be a little stressful. Pick your cup size and you can choose a base layer of crunchy options like broken waffle cone and cake crunch. Then choose one or 10 of the 20 plus yogurt flavors. Then comes the toppings! Fresh fruit, crunchy stuff, sprinkles, and sauces. Make sure you get a table with an Ipad so you can play Angry Birds while you waste too many calories on a personalized tub of yogurt!

I’m a big fan of frozen yogurt and I’ve been to all the various ones in the general area. FrozenPeaks is hands down the best one. Best tasting froyo, best ambiance, great staff.

Great selection of frozen yogurt and toppings! I believe there were 24 flavors to choose from, and my sister and I tried quite a few of both. Yogurt was pretty good but it didn’t taste as frozen yogurt-y as I would have liked. I prefer mine to be more tart and less ice cream like. I liked the colorful décor and like how it’s located in the Bergen Town Center right across from Whole Foods. There are iPads at some of the tables and I think there is a music player too. One thing I disliked was how large the cups were. The smallest size is a 16 oz, but I think at the register they subtract the weight of the cup when they calculate the final price.

FrozenPeaks certainly isn’t bad, but personally, when I get frozen yogurt, I want tart flavors rather than sweet. I don’t remember all the flavors I’ve had, but although most of them — Irish Mint, Espresso, Red Velvet, Banana Swirl — have been good, I find them to be on the sweet side for froyo. I have ice cream when I want sweet and creamy; they have a great selection of flavors and the place is well-run and clean, but I don’t find myself going often.

I was not born in America. But I have been here for the last 29 years. Still, I felt like I just got off the boat when I stepped into Frozen Peaks. No clue where to start or what to do. That is not this establishments fault. It is my fault for making my own frozen yogurt ice cream for so long and not having stepped foot in these DIY places until now. So I stroll right up to the cashier and look puzzled about the process and the pricing. She politely explains the process and tells me it’s something like .52 cents an oz. I don’t seem phased by that but then I have never been good at math. Got the 16oz cup(their smallest) and along with my Mom had fun picking our bases(I went with crushed waffle cone, she picked crushed cookie) and we pulled a little sample of 4 different flavors between us(The Elvis, Creamy Pistachio, Cappuccino and Cherry Cheesecake). We decided against any toppings and didn’t really fill up our cups that much and the price still came out to $ 10 for two cups of yogurt! A little insane. I can’t complain about the flavors(they were really, really good) and the store itself was clean, friendly, and the choice of toppings was pretty impressive — then again, this was my first froyo place so I’m not sure if they’re the exception or the rule. Had a great experience navigating my first DIY froyo place and the yogurt was delicious. That said, I just have too much of an issue paying $ 5.00 for a small cup and that was with zero toppings. Will stick to making my own :)

Frozen Peaks is a DIY frozen yogurt spot just like CUPS. You get to fill up a big ol’ cup full of your favorite froyo flavor or flavors(i like the cake batter and oreo flavors) and then top it with as many toppings as your little heart desires. The décor is nice and bright and you can stay in and enjoy your froyo while enjoying the music.

First I have to mention how cool their spoons are… no kidding, their awesome. Very chill place to go to for all different flavors of froyog(probably 12 – 24 different kinds, they probably change flavors weekly idk) Very bubbly place, make you feel like a kid again(hopefully is a good thing) A much bigger selection of froyo AND toppings than 16 Handles in GSP mall. Price MEHH… can run up to $ 2 – 10 depending on the weight. PUMPKINFLOVOR! YUMmmM!

And for my 200th review… This is my new favorite froyo spot! I think it’s actually cheaper than all the other local serve-yourself froyo places and it’s located in the Bergen Town Center. They have a big variety of flavors, my favorite being the Elvis– peanut butter and banana swirl! I’ve also seen cake batter, mocha, strawberry, tart, mango, pomegranate, and of course vanilla and chocolate. I know there are more I’m not remembering. I’ve never seen an ice cream/frozen yogurt place with so many topping options! Coco Puffs, carob chips, almonds, gummy bears, heath bar, honey, marshmallow fluff, fresh fruit, tapioca… basically anything that could possibly taste good with frozen yogurt. Even when it’s crowded, the line moves quickly because the staff work efficiently and politely let ppl know they shouldn’t be sampling everything without staff assistance. I’m a big fan of cleanliness and people NOT sticking their germy hands in my ice cream toppings! So thank you, Frozen Peaks for being so clean and providing me with delicious germ-free frozen yogurt and toppings!

If you’re into sweet fro-yo then this is your place. They have tons of flavors! Don’t forget to try before you take your pick. They also have one tart flavor and one sorbet flavor. I’m more of a tart girl so I always go with the original tart. Tons and tons of toppings to choose from. Don’t worry everything is properly labeled and well filled. My favorites include mochi, chocolate raspberry cups, granola and almonds. The place is bright, clean and filled with a friendly staff. Out of all the fro yo places this place resembles cups in Clifton. $ 0.52/oz but on sundays for all of January they are offering 40% off your fro-yo. Now that’s a tasty treat after doing your shopping at whole foods.

If you like self-serve froyo, you must do FrozenPeaks. It’s excellent froyo, tons of topping and flavor choices, clean, and super helpful and friendly staffers. There is nothing wrong with this place. I thought long and hard, because I am critical. And look for nitpicky reasons to dislike froyo places. For example, 16 Handles, over at Garden State: Well, it’s at Garden State. They run out of flavors and toppings sometimes. NOTSOFROZENPEAKS. OK, so FrozenPeaks has only been open for like a month. And they had a rough start, closing early on the first Sunday they were open. W-w-w-WAIT! They’re open on Sundays?!? YES. FrozenPeaks is at Bergen Town Center, a mall. In Bergen County. And they are OPENONSUNDAYS. So already we have +2 in FrozenPeaks’ corner. 1. Not at an insane mall. 2. OPENSUNDAYS. Now, the yogurt is good(+3). There is no need to overload it with syrup and toppings, because it’s GREAT on its own. That said, you could totally overload it with anything and everything you want. While other froyo places have like 75% of the toppings you love, FrozenPeaks has ALL of them(+4)… AND others you didn’t even know existed. Like dark chocolate raspberry truffle cups — AND mochi(+5). I can’t even go on. There’s not much more to say, except I wish they had a punch card or loyalty card so I could get a free fix. Because I’m spending a seriously stupid amount of money at FrozenPeaks. This place is freaking ridiculous.
