It’s been a while since I reviewed Miller’s and an update is more then due… Since my initial issues I have become a regular early afternoon customer at Miller’s in Paramus. Andrea is still the bartender there and she is as good as ever. Also, the food quality, and temperature, has improved. One of the managers there recognized me from my previous Unilocal post and without prompting took it upon himself to pick up my tab one night I was there. I was not expecting that at all and it was a very pleasant surprise. This was definitely the correct way to resolve my previous service issues. In addition he was very apologetic. I should also mention that I have had zero issues since. So, I will put my issues down to teething problems as they run a pretty tight ship there now. Highly recommended.

Been here a few dozen times in the past couple years during football season and always had a good time but I never felt compelled to write a review until now. So I met up with some friends last night for the NFL draft(Go Raiders!) and a lifetime love was formed. While waiting for our table I happened upon a drink in the menu that immediately grabbed my curiosity. I love the Cruzan rums and came across something unfamiliar to my knowledge of them — Cruzan Velvet. About 20 seconds after some convo with the bartender dining room side as to its origins I was 3 shots in and thirsty for more. Had our table not been called I may have emptied the bottle. The bartender explained C Velvet has replaced the other popular chata in Miller’s and they serve it up a variety of ways. Had it straight. awesome! Had it specialty way 1 in what they dubbed the honeycomb. decent, may or may not order it that way again. had it specialty way 2(which happened to be the the bartender’s sig mix) and YESSSSSS!!! It was everything! I’ll be back very soon for more. As far as food I can’t endorse much more than the mozzarella sticks wings and zingers. The guys I was with tore ass through the loaded tortillas and the spinach dip so if you’re into such things they are a go too. The experience ordering entrees, however, has been a mixed bag

After years of hearing about Miller’s, I finally went last Saturday night. When there was a UFC fight on. Very, very bad timing. PACKED. TO. THE. BRIM. This place is humongous; there’s rooms upon rooms of tables and bars. And yet, still packed. Good luck getting a drink because the human cushion around the bar is 5 people thick. Guess I’ll stand in a random corner then… Bergen county cesspool. If you grew up in the area, you’re bound to bump into people you know.(I awkwardly avoided two different people I hadn’t seen since high school and I was only there for 20 minutes.) Screw the UFC fight, I spent my time patron watching and thinking, «this place is so New Jersey.» First visit was a total turn off. But would I return? Maybe on a weekday when it’s not bustling to the brim. Plus, they have a nice outdoor patio which might be a cool spot to hang in the coming months. Update? We’ll see…

I come here after working at the gym next door. I usually have grilled chicken salad which is really good. I’ve tried the grilled zingers which were quite tasty. On other occasions I’ve had the captain jacks buried tressure dessert… amazing but almost 1500, calories. One of my favorite places to eat.

Wings are good but that’s about it. I ordered 2 buffalo chicken sandwiches(fried) with sweet potato fries and one with salad, DISGUSTING!!! 1 – 10 I’d give a 0. I made sure to ask the lady if our sandwich came with lettuce and tomato and she said of course it does. Well Our sandwiches came with no buffalo sauce, no lettuce, no tomato and a flat potato bread. My sweet potato fries taste like nothing, felt like u were chewing on a wet sponge. Our salad came with bacon bits that NOONE asked for. We didn’t even want to eat it but we spent $ 26 on bullshit food, never returning here. Oh, and it wasn’t busy at all. Probably about 8 cars in the parking lot.

Millers is your average sports bar — with a lot of TVs and a long list of beers to choose from. They have some good deals and decent food options to accompany the drinks. The music is good and they’re very spaced out. All in all — they’re great apart from one thing. The service. It’s like they’re doing you a favor by letting you come in here. I’ve seen people kicked out for just asking for a drink at the bar because the bartender thought they were too drunk. They weren’t, and even if, and what do you expect? Aren’t you selling drinks at a bar? On a separate occasion, a friend was asked to leave because he wore his pants too low [he wasn’t]. The bartenders and servers don’t seem to have any sense of urgency, and even though a lot of busy places seem to be this way, Millers seems to make an attempt to delay your orders. That being said, there are some servers who were very nice and cordial — but on several occasions it was very difficult to deal with. I’m not very picky with service but if it does bother me as much as this, it deserves a mention.

So I’ve been here a hundred times and I’ve never written a review. I don’t really know why because this is my go to local sports bar. I guess it’s just difficult for me to put a rating on it. I don’t love coming here because of the huge crowds, especially on the weekends, loud music and ok food but I do love coming here to watch games, chill with friends, and enjoy a good beer. They have a great selection of beers on tap, including local beers and you can’t find a lot of places in Paramus that do that. The place itself is also huge! Even though it gets really full and busy on the weekends, you aren’t quite packed in like a sardine. It’s usually not difficult to get a drink at the bar. This is a great place to meet up with some friends and have a relaxed night with a few drinks and decent food.

This spot is okay. Zingers are good and the beer selection is huge. Do NOT get the Asian chicken. It comes with a decent cole slaw and your choice of side. I got a side of mashed potatoes with gravy that tastes like it came straight out of a can. Even the mashed potatoes were a bit of a disappointment. The chicken itself was cooked really well. However, it lacked sooooo much flavor! Throwing a pineapple on top of chicken doesn’t make it Asian chicken. The teriyaki sauce they threw on top just tasted like a very salty soy sauce. The service wasn’t good. We went during the day when it wasn’t too crowded so I don’t really think there is any excuse for such terrible service. The waiter didn’t even stop by the table once to see if we needed anything such as a refill on water or beer. Atmosphere is average. An upscale Applebee’s is a fair way to put it. Pretty cozy with a log cabin feel. Our next visit will only consist of drinks and zingers for sure.

Miller’s is huge, with lots of bar stools, high top tables and booths. There are TVs lining the walls so you can catch your favorite sports team while you grab a bite and a drink. Atmosphere and ambiance are fine, and there is an outdoor seating area that would be nice to sit in during the spring and summer. The food and drinks weren’t great on a recent visit though. Our flatbread pizza was lukewarm and reminded us of a frozen pizza from a grocery store. I ordered a cocktail from their drink menu, that was supposed to be a rum fruit punch — when it arrived, it was simply rum and lime juice. I’d stick with bar basics and beer next time.

Miller’s Ale House is great for just hanging out and having a few drinks with friends in a sports bar environment without much of a care for the food. Of course they have all the typical bar food favorites(pizza, wings, guacamole, etc.), but the food really isn’t too good. I’d recommend sticking with the most simple dishes to ensure its decent. I’d steer clear of the flatbread pizzas, it was just about the same as frozen pizza from the supermarket. The outdoor patio area looked like a fun place to enjoy nice weather and a cold beer. I’d go back only for the drinks and just hanging around.

I’d give the bar and atmosphere a 4 star review. Maybe even 5 star. It has a log cabin feel too it — nice and cozy with a fireplace too. It’s spacious, although it does get crowded on the weekends. The food, however, stinks. I ordered the grilled chicken and it was dry. The green beans that came with it were undercooked. On a separate occasion I ordered the NY Strip Steak and it lacked any type of seasoning. It was rather fatty too. Another time I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was dry and bland.(Not sure why I keep giving so many chances). The food rating, when ordering a «real meal», is about a 2. Their bar food is pretty good though! The zingers and loaded fries were really good! I’d like to try more junk food here. I love coming here for drinks but not to eat. This is def the kind of place to meet up with friends, get your drink on and get some late night munchies.

This place has very chilled out vibes and the go to place for my friends and I since it’s a midpoint from Where we all live. We always have a great time and the staff is very friendly. Boneless wings are great and very tender. My favorite is the BBQ but my friends swear by the sweet chili wings. The only thing is if you sit at a table you are sometimes forgotten.

Good service, cheap food & drinks. The quality & flavor of the food is ok but kind of expected for what you pay for. Ashley is awesome btw.

This is my go to spot to watch Sunday night football games. They have tons of flat screen TVs to watch several games at the same time without missing a beat. A bucket of 6 pack of Coors for $ 10 is a steal that’s offered on Sundays. They offer tons of draft beers and can sample any just by asking. Service at the bar is always great, friendly and fast. Constantly checking up on everyone to make sure there drinks and tummy’s are satisfied. I love how attentive and caring they are. You never get the feeling that your being rushed or unwanted. Food is good, it satisfies your average Joe Schmoe. Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge so don’t get carried away and order everything. Wings are large, consistent and juicy but the insane sauce isn’t spicy one bit, odd isn’t it? Fries with cheese are average and the zingers flat bread is really good. Thin crust with boneless chicken and smothered in a blue cheese sauce. Very simple but satisfying with a ton of bold flavors. I love everything about this place, parking is easy, prices are cheap, food is good and the service is the best part.

It’s totez amazeballs. #2000sTweensLingo #SueMe –Excellent pricing and specials. –Great food(try the lobster soup thingy in the bread bowl) –Lovely atmosphere –Friendly atmosphere –Security in later hours. There are more wonderful attributes to this joint, but I don’t wanna spoil all the fun for you. Go on a Thursday night and you’ll enjoy yourself. Heck, ANY night for that matter. Or afternoon. Okay, just GOOOOOO. Lol.

I’ve been here a handful of times over the years and it’s always packed during weekends. Yesterday(Saturday at 6pm) was no exception– we decided to grab a seat at the bar to grab a big snack before heading to the mall. We ordered the chicken fajita and chicken nachos, which were both great. He nachos are HUGEEEE!!! It’s a big family restaurant + dive bar. Not a hugely diverse crowd but groups can get very rowdy. It’s great for watching sports, since there’s 4 – 5 TVs whichever way you turn. The bartenders are short-staffed by a mile. The bar is huge and it takes forever to get the bartenders’ attention. The parking isn’t all that convenient either bc while us foodies stuff our faces, a lot of ppl make the much better choice of going to the 24 gym right next door– hence, the lack of parking right next to the restaurant. It’s getting cold, so a short walk can still be brutal. The outdoor seating area is open during summer– not sure if they put heaters out to make it available during the colder days, and I would never chose to sit outside on a cold Jersey night. Drinks were kind of weak– even when I asked for a double shot of titos with splash of cran, it was unexpectedly weak. Either that or I was in dire need of a massive dose of inhibitive liquor. Their food ain’t bad but it’s definitely not the healthiest choice(save for their salads).

Lol… awesome spot none the less

Loud, loud, loud, great atmosphere for a bar not so great for a restaurant. If the weather is nice, eat outside for lunch much nicer than eating inside. Food is better than most pubs, surprisingly they do seafood very well! They have great salads, burgers and done TexMex dishes too. Wish you could make a reservation for dinner because the wait can be a nightmare, especially if you are waiting with a hungry toddler. It’s a great place to watch a game, plenty of large screen TVs, and there is plenty of eye candy for people watching as its right next to 24-hour fitness. Lots of great beers on tap and great full service bar. If your young this is a great local place to unwind and enjoy happy hour!

A couple friends and myself went in today for happy hour … We are three young women in our mid twenties and the 50 something bartender didn’t seem to wanted to be bothered because she was too busy flirting with male customers closer to her age. One of my girl friends found a hair in her quesadilla and when we informed the bartender, she nonchalantly apologised… I’m sorry, but who wants a hair in their food? 1 star for the service and shotty apology. believe me, I understand things happen, but c’mon, the bartender could’ve put on a great act and at least acted like she cared a wee bit. And the second star is for at least(not even her, another server because she barely came to check on us) they took the quesadilla off of our check.
