I usually am not one to write a review, but I feel I need to share my recent experience in this particular Pandora store. I was in a hurry to purchase a gift I needed for a friend who was turning a milestone birthday. I knew she had mentioned a couple of times that she wanted to get herself a charm bracelet. My sister has a charm bracelet and I always admire how especially important it is to her, each charm having its own special meaning. So while I was in the mall, I decided to check out a Pandora bracelet for her. I was greeted by a charming sales associate with the most upbeat and friendly attitude, her name was Ashley. I initially said I wanted to just«look around» and she said feel free, let me know if you have any questions, not being pushy at all. I took a look around and finally decided I needed some help. I explained to Ashley what I was looking for, the type of person this gift was for and she took her time to give me ideas and show me what they had available. I can be a bit of a pain in the neck when it comes to making decisions, but this particular sales associate was so helpful and patient, she made it easy for me to decide exactly what I wanted to get, giving her opinions and suggestions(which I greatly appreciated). It’s not always an easy job being in a customer service role, but Ashley was the epitomy of how to treat a customer. I left the store very pleased with my purchase and promised that I would be back to make a purchase for myself(while looking for my friends’ gift, I noticed a ring I must have!). Thanks Ashley for making this shopping experience easier and for being a terrific example of a mature Millennial.

I am going to title my review the following: «Why I refuse to return and shop at this Pandora… or how an ignorant and rude sales associate can ruin a customer’s entire afternoon» My friend, husband and I were shopping for our mothers’ gifts. I stepped away to look at a few items.(Btw nothing in the store has any prices. You are forced to ask the associates who then spend time digging through book-like catalogs.) When I saw that my friend was already speaking to a sales associate, I joined her. Without making any eye contact or greeting me, the sales person«Ashley» asked my friend«is this mom?» Umm… I’m 28. And my friend is 22. Seriously?! Now, my friend does appear youthful. So I can understand an honest mistake. And I would have accepted an apology. Here’s how our conversation went instead: Me: No… I’m not her mom. My Friend: My mom is in her 40’s. Sales Associate: Oh, I thought you were her mother. Me: Really? I’m 28. Friend: And I’m 22. *** HINT: This is where the sales person is supposed to OFFERANAPOLOGY for making someone feel over 2 decades older. *** Sales Associate(towards my friend and in a brazen tone): Well, you look younger. Friend: Uh, I know. Sales Associate: That’s why I thought she was your mother. Sales Associate goes about her business, as if nothing happened. Such flippant attitude is unprofessional. And it will not be tolerated by this customer ever again. Miss Ashley should get some extensive training for better customer service and work on her overall social skills.

I purchased a charm bracelet as a gift here but unfortunately the recipient wasn’t crazy about this style of bracelet. The purchasing part was great! The sales woman didn’t make me feel rushed at all– there are so many charms on display and it was a tough choice. I asked about the return policy because I was worried about metal allergies and/or that the giftee wouldn’t like it. Now I know that no store likes to get their merchandise returned, but the returning experience came with a little bit of sighing, an eye roll, and looks to another sales person that said something I’m happy I didn’t understand. I wish I could say I wasn’t expecting a different experience but I did hope that I was wrong. I was really close to giving 2 stars but the young girl that helped me buy really was great! The employees on that day did not give off that tension I felt when I returned. The service is great if you are there to buy. If you go for returns, go with thick skin and don’t let it bother you. Us consumers can’t make everyone happy! ;)

This pandora store is located inside of Paramus park mall, space 1660. I got welcomed when I walked in, one staff came over helped me and answered all my questions with effort. I was looking for some charms which only sell other jeweler, she gave me locations and phone number. They explained me some upcoming special promotions, added me on their email list for update. I enjoyed my first experience with them, very pleased with good customer service. This is one of the nice pandora store out there with good service.
