I am writing this review, purely based on the store manager and his lack of respect for his staff. I was in on a Saturday shopping for some new decorative and holiday items for my apartment. The store was actually quite, it was still early on a Saturday morning, so there weren’t to many people in the store. As I was walking around, the manager(I believe his name was Chris), was directing his employee on how to put the window clings up. He was so loud, and condescending! At one point he said«you’re not doing it right, take it down and do it over!» So loud and so mean, I felt bad for his employee! A manager should be a role model, a leader, teach your employee, don’t yell and order them around! Also, if you don’t have the patience, you should probably consider a new profession or position.

Pier 1 throws me for a loop every time. On one hand you have some quality items priced competitively. And on the other hand you have some overpriced junk. It’s like Home Goods meets Big Lots. At this store you can expect friendly service, albeit scattered. You’ll also find a ton of parking. I believe this is so because of the treacherous situation regarding the exit/entrance to Route 17. Use caution…

One of my fave stores, love their stuff. Seasonal sales is the time to go.
