I used to love this place, lately it has turn into a walking, walk out place. Portions are small and Food is not as tasty as is used to be, the staff is ok, they look caring and well disposed to serve, but still does not compensate for a low quality food in a resto.

It’ been few times I been in this Red Lobster, very disappointed! HORRIBLE service by the waitress! You work with the public, there is no need for attitude!

Went for their 4 course dinner special for $ 16.99. It was just so so. Our waitress was very nice and quick but you get what you pay for. I ordered the shrimp and scallop Alfredo sauce was too rich but not in the good way and the shrimp were itsy bitsy baby shrimp that get chewy.

Always love to have the seafood but particularly the lobster and shrimp. Always look for an excuse to go there.

I went here on a Tuesday night for dinner. While it wasn’t crowded, it took ten minutes for anybody to notice we were there(the hostess didn’t tell anyone she sat us). Otherwise, our waitress Holiday was amazing. She was very attentive, and delivered refills and food promptly. She was very friendly and I felt welcome. The biscuits were amazing as always. Crispy without being burnt, and moist. I got the crab linguini Alfredo. It was tasty, but I was expecting more crab. Otherwise it was nice.

They only get one stars because of the service. As far as food goes, HORRIBLE. I have never ate food with that much salt in it. I went there with my family for my sister’s birthday. We got there a few minutes before closing time and they still decided to have us seated. The whole time we felt like they wanted us to hurry up and leave. I mean if you didn’t want us to stay and eat why would you have us stay in the restaurant. The food was horrible. Everything we ordered had so much salt in it. After 2 hours of eating it, I still feel so much salt in my mouth. This was my second time coming here and will never return to this place. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I came here on a Tuesday night with my date and was attended quickly. There wasn’t many people & our waitress was polite but okay on attention. I ordered the lobster bisque soup while my bf ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and a strawberry smoothie. Smoothie was odd but tasty. The food came out quickly but my soup was a let down. It was yellow and thick, and tasted mostly of cheese. I essentially had ordered a cheese soup with scarce pieces of lobster. I found myself consistently picking in my boyfriends food. I couldn’t let the waitress know I wasn’t satisfied with the meal since she didn’t really come by often at all. Overall, I had succeeded in no longer being hungry. Bill was about $ 30. My food may not have been great, but my boyfriends was for sure. Place is neat and clean & service was decent. Would give it another try.

Marissa is a seriously great server. If you go here for dinner, I highly recommend requesting her as your server. Drinks are refilled timely and she ensures food flows to your table in a timely manner. My wife and I both had the endless shrimp special. With it, you get a respectable portioned salad that was fresh and tasty. Cheddar bay biscuits are steaming hot, light, flaky, & tasty. The sides of pilaf and green beans were perfectly cooked and only needed some salt & pepper. The grilled teriyaki shrimp is a winner with perfectly cooked shrimp where the meat releases from the tail easily glazed with that nice sauce. The coconut habanero fried shrimp is a winner too. It’s your standard breaded & fried popcorn shrimp with a fantastic dipping sauce consisting of peach preserve, coconut, habañero hot sauce, a touch of onion, and touch of garlic. That sauce is so good, if they sold it in a bottle, I would use that on chicken, beef, veggies, or anything that needs a balanced sweet/hot kick. The shrimp scampi is a little oily, but it is the same taste as you can get in any area pizza joint. The coffee was on the edge of burnt but drinkable. I would come back again for endless shrimp, it’s a good value for money with well executed food.

The worst service ever. You may think you’re in for a real treat when you get«Holiday» as your waitress, think again she has no personality, screwed up the drink order then played it off badly«they are still making it». She literally dumps dishes onto the table Doesn’t say anything or doesn’t even make eye contact … Disappears and doesn’t check in with the table. Several empty tables so they aren’t busy at all. Not sure why I come here but it seems to be my 70 yr old dad’s favorite restaurant. My siblings & I brought him to this crap hole at his request for his Birthday. Only thing going good here are the biscuits!

As always, I love coming to Red Lobster. This location is a bit smaller than the Route 46 in Wayne one that is local to me, and is a little less obvious from Route 17. As with all RL’s in NJ that you can sadly only get to with a car, we had to be on keen lookout for the turn-off for this location since we’d never been before. We were seated promptly for lunch on a Saturday afternoon when we’re used to waiting, so this was very nice. Service was good, though our waitress was clearly managing thirty things at once and so her performance was a little bumpy, but she was tipped well since my family and I knew she was really trying. Example, we had wanted a bag of more cheddar bay biscuits to go, but somehow she thought we wanted an order of the mussels we had ordered earlier to go, so she brought the mussels by accident. We more than gladly accepted the mussels anyways since they’re heavenly in your mouth, but to make up for her mistake, the waitress gave us an extra bag of cheddar bay loveliness. Now that’s just cool and good service. :) :)

I’m giving this place three stars because this place isn’t consistently good. Over the years, the quality of food has declined considerably. Cutting corners and franchising and probably paying the cooks lower wages, I don’t know. All I know is this place used to serve magical food. Now it’s a mere shadow of its former self. The steamed vegetables look sickly, the rice seems dated, the shrimps are small, and the quality in which everything is cooked lacks any inspiration or commitment. It’s all thrown on a plate and served with defeat written all over it.

The WORST red lobster I have been to seriously. I am still dumbfounded as to how how a chain restaurant that usually serves good food can serve such a disgusting and disappointing meal! Seriously! If you see my reviews, you will see that I’m not picky and it is extremely rare when I leave such a bad review. We got a crab boil and it had no juice, the crab legs were actually dry, just unpleasant. Oh and it came with 5 meager potatoes. You would expect for almost $ 40 more. The mussels appetizer did not taste fresh at all and was dry on top of that! Service was really awful. I mean again I’m not picky. I just want the minimum food delivered without asking, nothing more. We had to ask for the cheddar biscuits, water, the potatoes that come with the boil, any liquid butter at all and we still never got an extra crab cracker thingy when this plate was shared. Overalls for almost 60 $, not worth it at all in any way shape or form.

Worst service EVER!!! I mean it was early evening and the place wasn’t busy but with that kind of service I can see why.

This place was absolutely terrible and a complete waste of money. I think we really should have left when we first entered and was welcomed by a stench — smelled like a dirty public bathroom and mold. I asked for the lobster bake with sauce on the side and they brought out the food with the sauce so I had to send it back. Everything here is nothing but butter and hoping I didn’t clog an artery while here. Beware that the shrimp tacos have cilantro. Will definitely not be coming back, as I am horrified by the horrific smell of the restaurant and the terrible food.

Great waiter, he was super nice and friendly. He was on top of everything. Cheddar Bay Biscuits here are always PERFECT. Cooked to perfection. Golden yellow and nothing burnt at all. Warm and fluffy. Oh my goodness!!! Sadly, the other food isn’t on par. Lobster bisque had chunks of lobster yay but it was lukewarm. The lobster meat tasted over cooked. I got the try three with baked lobster alfredo(meh but had chunks of lobster, a bit overcooked lobster), coconut shrimp(best part but the shrimp are on the tiny side), and the salmon(okay but again, on the overcooked side). My date got the sirloin and he purposely told them rare because he figured it’d come out overcooked. He was smart. When it came out, it was more like medium than rare. And he throughly enjoyed it. I don’t know what it is about this specific RL but there are always families with babies here. Crying babies. Crying loud babies. It’s sort of obnoxious. Get a babysitter maybe? Or possibly just do take out? At least that’s what I’d do. Because it gets to the point where other parties really can’t enjoy themselves or talk to one another. What can you expect though? I don’t expect them to hit it out of the ballpark but I’ll always keep coming back because CHEDDARBAYBISCUITS.

I haven’t sat down in a restaurant for a very long time, and tonight’s experience was exceptional. The fried seafood was breaded properly, nothing overdone or loose. The pasta wasn’t chewy or soggy(like some restaurants I have been to). The salad was crisp with just the right crunch. Everything was well seasoned, and nothing had a fishy taste. Our server was very helpful with suggesting menu items(especially since I didn’t know what salad to pick), and extremely prompt. Our appetizers and entrees came at the right pace. Considering that this was my first time(but my fiancé’s third or fourth time) at Red Lobster, this was the best experience I ever had. :)

So I don’t understand how certain people can work in a establishment without having proper etiquette. The front of the house staff needs a lil push towards doing a better job when talking to customers. A lack of motivation I blame management. As for the food it was blan. The crab legs were over steamed and like imitation crab almost. Silverware needed a well deserved polish. the floors filthy. Carpet needs to go.

This was the first time I’ve ever been to a Red Lobster, and it’ll probably be my last. I’ll admit that I was planning on going to Shake Shack, but it was beyond packed, hence how I landed here. We drove turned into the Red Lobster parking lot and couldn’t tell if it was open or not, because it was so dark inside. Lucky or unlucky for us, it was. Our entrees were OK at best, but on the bright side our server was extremely friendly & the cheddar biscuits live up to their name! We didn’t take any of our leftovers home, but we did take the biscuits-scrumptious!

Service was very good and attentive, brought us refills without having to ask. I still enjoy other seafood places more but nothing beats their biscuits, served hot with whipped butter. Caesar salad had plenty dressing, lobster bisque was good with chunks of lobster. Good for a quick seafood fix, nice booth seating.

I was here for a Unilocal event so you’ll have to read that review separately, however, I will give a general review here. In recent years Red Lobster has definitely stepped up their game. I was able to sample several things from the menu and all were delicious. Personal favorites include the sweet chili shrimp, the spicy buffalo chicken bites, the Parmesan-crusted chicken and the tilapia in a bag. Their desserts were good too. I really enjoyed the warm apple crostada and of course the NY style strawberry topped cheesecake. The staff here are top shelf! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you have ill feelings from a long ago trip I urge you to give it another try. This isn’t your mother’s Red Lobster anymore!
