Went here with family on a very busy holiday weekend and the accomodated us rather quickly and the food arrived quickly. The Cobb salad was very good and my grilled porkchop plate was also very good. Huge portions including a large«side» salad. 2 in our party ordered the«special of the day» a chicken fajita. Maybe they had made the ingredients earlier in the day and they had sat under a heat lamp too long but the chicken was dry and stringy and the vegetable overcooked; as was the rice. I think, had we not ordered the«special,» this review would’ve been 4 stars. The price was very reasonable.

The day ended gray and the members of my posse wore looks of indifference. We sat at the bar and drank blue moon after blue moon. The chicken tenders, dipped in a honey mustard not unlike the kind you find at chick fil a, loosened when I bit in. Moist and fleshy. Ask for blue cheese on your salad and horseradish-they have it. The prime rib is, well, a prime rib. Unless you go au jus, I don’t know what to tell you. A good place to get trashed and get funny looks from all the conservative numbskulls who inhabit the region.

We have passed by many times and they do not seem to have regular hours! We have decided that they only cator parties. We would love to try their food but always closed. How is it that all these other people actually find this place open? Unbelievable! What are the secret hours? Where is the the well kept secret schedule? Please– I’m dying to know!

This is one of my favorite places in Paris to eat. My absolute favorite is the prime rib and green beans. The staff and service are always good and the ambiance is nice, clean and casual. Also, if you do a appetizer, I would try the fried mushrooms. These with the horseradish sauce they serve with it is so good.

Good considering the small town. Service was great, but the salmon was overcooked. Better than a chain I guess.

Maybe I was here on an off night but I expected much more from the reviews. For starters, my salad was fair but was served with one lousy package of crackers. I had the Parmesan chicken which was sub-par and I paid cash with a $ 100 bill and was given change in tens and fives. Sorry but my evening was ruined – and this is from one who never does a review!!! I don’t like to be critical but surely they can at least give a person more than 2 crackers with their salad.

If you are in Paris,(Tennessee, not France) this is the place to go. A very weird set up, we debated what it used to be and our conclusion was that it had to be a strip bar at one time. Other than that, very friendly service and good food. Like many places, the fried dill pickles and mushrooms are very good, and a little different than the usual order — they actually put cream cheese in the mushrooms before frying. Definitely worth the stop and the deserts are HOMEMADE and Awesome!

I have been here twice over the years while visiting, and I’m not sure why I haven’t been here more times! Recently, my Grandma and fiancé joined me for dinner, and we loved it. He convinced me to try the fried pickles as an appetizer, which I turned out loving! Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious, and the prices were great for how much food you get. I will be coming back next time I make it down

Never did I expect what I got when I went here for the first time. It was like a diamond in the rough. Great décor. Food is great. Drinks come in mason jars… fine contrast to everything else here!

Went there once with family and will not be back. Daughter ordered lasagna. It was terrible. No taste and it was all sauce. Only two tiny pieces of pasta! No layered pasta in her serving at all. Told waitress and and she took plate to kitchen. Brought it back out and told us chef said it was supposed to be that way. Sat it on the table and walked away! Daughter didn’t eat it. No refills on drinks. Suffice it to say service was terrible! Oh, and daughter never got bread that was supposed to come with her meal. Save your money. Their are much better places in Paris to eat.

Like the ambiance. Food was good and it’s a nice place to go after a day at the lake. Bar area needs a little improvement to look inviting and hold the attention of those wanting to stop for a drink.

I took my parents there tonight for there 55th Wedding Anniversary Dinner I have never been and wanted to give it a try. The food was excellent in taste, appearance and portions. I had the sampler which is 1⁄3 rack ribs 3 chicken tenders and fried shrimp. My Father had the oink and cluck and my mother had the coconut shrimp. The décor was very pleasing for the season. The place looked and smelled clean.

My wife and I found this while staying at Kentucky lake. It is a nice local diversion from standard chain fern bar fare. The ambiance is vaguely european market with a nice full bar area as well as a nice dining room. The food was very good with a very large selection(salads, pastas, shrimp, catfish, steaks, prime rib and ribs.) The prices are very reasonable($ 15 Rib-eye) and the desserts are supposed to be very good, although we didn’t try them. We had two appetizers(wings and mushrooms and they were both delicious.) The salad was iceberg, but the dressings were home made and very good. Kid Friendly.

Had dinner here with friends a few nights ago while visiting in town and it was great! Inexpensive drinks, good food, and great service.
