Lespri Prime Steak Sushi Bar

Sat us the moment we walked in. The sushi bar was was extremely fresh. The wine by the glass was delicious and I am particular. Very well done.

I’ve eaten at Lespri for several years now and cannot say enough about this amazing restaurant. Lespri is extremely consistent in regards to food prep, selection, and quality. This is rather rare for Utah restaurants.
This unforgettable establishment is led by Scott Benson. Scott and his team take pride in their professions which creates a fun and warm environment, and consistent experience we all look for. This is, by far, my favorite sushi place and steak place.
One of the non-​food aspects I love about this place is the versatility. Lespri has a sushi bar, formal dining room, and bar with tv’s and booths. All these rooms are separated strategically to allow for the specific experience for your occasion. No matter where you’re sitting, in the bar with your snow gear or formal wear in the dining room, Scott and team make sure you get the same quality food.

Rolled in and sat at the bar. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately after I ordered, I overheard the bartender explain the specials of the evening to other patrons of which he did not do the same for me, I heard rack of lamb??? I absolutely LOVE rack of lamb. I had a wedge salad and the chicken Marsala; both were good. Good service, good food. Minus one star for not telling me the specials.

Such a great, cozy spot to enjoy wonderful food and conversation. Fish of the day, pistachio encrusted salmon with polenta and asparagus was fantastic. The sushi rolls, especially hamachi gari, were so fresh and delicious. Friendly, attentive staff. Jarrod was a doll.

Went here for New Year’s Eve dinner. The filet was excellent! Great place for an upscale dinner.

I’ve had two experiences here– good and great. They are known for steak so if you order sushi you are missing out. Most of the rolls are really good, but why pass up great steak?
Once a couple of years ago I ate there for a special occassion and had several glasses of wine. By the time I finsihed, i was in love with my wine glass (which was huge and awesome) and after a few meals and lots of drinks and a fairly hefty bill, the waiter presented me with a «take home» bag. When I got home, it had a wine glass in it. While an owner might not appreciate that, as a customer, I thought it was a very nice gesture for someone who had just spent a lot of money there.

Went here during Christmas /​New Years 2015 – 2016. Food was good, not outstanding. Small restaurant, looks better online. We had a 8pm dinner reservation & waitress rushed our sushi order? Our party wanted espresso’s and cappuccino’s with dessert. Lespri did not have a machine. We asked for the manager, she said the old machine broke and no asks for that, coffee will usually do. What??? She recommended somewhere we can get coffee, hence didn’t order dessert & left. Why wouldn’t you buy a espresso/​cappuccino machine. It will pay itself off in a month, maybe less. Very doubtful we’ll return.

Service was awesome! Food was mediocre. I really wanted this to be the best sushi place in Park City but it is not. I don’t think I need to come back.

We ate here during December 2015. The sushi was okay — about the same as I’ve tasted from Whole Foods. One person in our party had the chicken Marsala — the chicken was very dry.
The service was quick.

Was up in park city for vacation and decided to stop by. I didn’t know they required reservations, but they were able to accommodate us with a small wait. Their steak, and sushi was excellent. The service was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back.

Great restaurant! We had a large group and everyone have very particular orders and tastes (read picky) they did a great job.
The food was excellent. We tried most of the rolls on the menu and you know how most places have 1 – 2 rolls that are amazing and a bunch of filler? Well we tried 7 – 8 different rolls and they were all amazing. You can’t go wrong.
One of the non sushi eaters in the group ordered a ribeye and he loved it too.

My wife and I sat at the sushi bar while head sushi chef Scott Benson (his full name is on his chef coat) prepared the fish. I’m actually not sure what we got, because I ordered chef’s choice, but there were four expertly prepared rolls. The rice was warm and the fish was cold. I saw mango, avocado, unpeeled limes sliced so thin that they’re actually edible… hell, I have no idea what we ate, but it was fantastic.
Great service too. I actually don’t remember if it was Miguel or this other tall guy who was our server, but both were really nice and promptly got us everything we needed, but also left us alone just until we needed something.
It’s off the Park City main drag, but it’s the best sushi in Park City. Scott seems to take pride in preparing sustainably caught/​raised fish, and he doesn’t maintain a huge selection, but the fish we had was excellent. The place is modern, but also seems to have some history.
Next time you’re in PC, go to Lespri, order a mess of sushi and unfiltered saki and have a great experience.

We had sushi and it was terrific. The Prime Time roll is excellent with great flavor. I would definitely recommend if you like beef and sushi. Service was excellent too. We will return next time in town.

Park City has had a fair amount of turnover in restaurants over the years, but Lespri continues to deliver great food and keeps amping up its game.
I decided to write this because earlier in the summer we attended the opening of the new back patio. It’s beautiful, comfortable and that Friday night there was terrific live music.
The food, as always was AMAZING. The sushi is fresh and creative. My favorite roll is the White Knight.
Throughout this summer Lespri has had live music on Friday nights. Soon, I know we will venture to the inside and spend our Friday nights in the back bar watching a football game and eating the Kobe beef burgers or in the cozy front room digging into a juicy steak flown in from Chicago.

I just did not feel this place. The service was slow and awkward and nothing on the menu really stood out. The complimentary house made chips were a nice touch but nothing else worked for me. After waiting 20 minutes for mediocre drinks, we left cash on the table and walked out. No staff member even noticed.

Everything was excellent from the complimentary homemade potato chips, the hummus with tapenade, seaweed salad and the oh Mai and white knight rolls… Delish! The rolls are perfect because they have less rice, more ‘stuff’ and wonderful complimentary textures and tastes. Also friendly fast and great service.

Service and food here was just on point! Their excellent staff were was just fantastic. They knew how to work a table of 12+ guests and get everyone excited what’s on the menu! Our waitress who was a superwoman, gave great recommendation! I took her advice and went with their soup of the day (chef creation) which was clam soup, and the Prime Time (USDA Prime beef tartar with shallots, capers, asparagus & sprouts topped with carpaccio, jalapeño, green onion, wasabi mayo & sesame seeds), it literally melted in my mouth! I must also ad they have extensive wine list! Woot-​woot!
They were having a private party at their outdoor seating including live music which I later saw. It looked really fancy. I certainly would want to plan a private party here if I lived in the area, or simply great for business dinners for any company. There are plenty of parking, Lespri is only a walking distance to the Marriott Hotel!

Had a good experience here. Sushi was excellent and very fresh. GF had chicken piccata which was adequate albeit a little too heavy on the lemon.
Miniature beignets with vanilla bean custard were amazing! Almost went back the next night just for them after dining elsewhere.
Would definitely return for sushi and dessert.

We ate here during Sundance and yum! Very good sushi and service. We had a large group so we ordered one of every roll and it was very filling. I don’t experiment with Sushi too much and I did here and was pleasantly surprised.
The service was also top notch. We sat in the bar area and had a wonderful evening.

We ate here on a Saturday night and made reservations on Open Table.
Husband and son both has steaks (Strip and Filet) and enjoyed immensely. Cooked just right with great seasoning. Also requested mushrooms on the side — quite tasty.
Daughter and I both enjoyed specialty sushi rolls — Emperor & Lihue, in addition to traditional Coastal (like a California Roll). We really liked all that we ordered.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of items listed on the menu that were not available but that didn’t really have an impact on our experience. We would recommend this place and might return if we cycle through all of our other choices in Park City.
