The seater at this bar was like a lot of other folks that work in this area of Utah, rude and unhelpful. She had a list of folks who put their name to wait for a table, but told my wife that she needed a reservation. She took our name and said she would call us when a table became available. Never received a call. We will never be back.

Apres Ski at the bar is the best in Park City. Ashley took care of us and also ended up doing the sword sabering ceremony and was awesome — she was very comfortable up there! We only had drinks this time but the beers and white wines we had we eat. We’ll be back every day we’re in town.

As guests of the St. Regis, we were regulars at St. Regis Bar on one of the busiest weeks of the year between Christmas and New Years. The hotel is over the top, but it suffers badly from a lack of dining options, so St. Regis Bar is more crowded than it needs to be. SRB also suffers from an identity crisis, being the«casual» dining option at a posh hotel, you’d expect to find more casual options on the menu. Unfortunately, the bar seems to share the kitchen with J & G Grille, the«signature» restaurant at St. Regis whose celebrity chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, apparently doesn’t get«casual». The bar food was truly disappointing, especially hard-to-screw-up basics like mac-n-cheese(scored a 2 out of 10). The mac-n-cheese was overcooked, mushy noodles with a flavorless white cheese(sauce) which was actually quite dry. I cannot imagine coming from Park City to go to the St. Regis Bar as a destination. It has a captive market, because the hotel is secluded and getting a good casual meal otherwise requires a drive into town. One evening, I had a burger which was not memorable in any way – even as I write this review five days later, I cannot think of anything good(or bad) to say about the burger, which is not a compliment. I cannot complain about the price, because I chose arguably the most exclusive hotel in Deer Valley, but the seclusion of the hotel and lack of on-site alternatives creates significant financial opportunity for the bar. Service was fine and the atmosphere inviting. It was too cold to sit outdoors, which I imagine is a real plus. With the outdoor seating, perhaps the bar wouldn’t be so cramped. The view from the bar and outdoor seating overlooks the slopes. Nice. I think Jean Georges misses the mark on this one.

We came here on a Tuesday evening, valeted the car and took the trans up to the restaurant. The trans ride is a nice touch, amazing views of the city and snow covered mountains. We were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us at a table next to the fireplace, that also had amazing views of the city and mountains. We were greeted by our very friendly and attentive waitress Cathy(I believe her name is) she had only been an employee for a week however I would have never known because her knowledge of the menu and history of the hotel and restaurant were stellar!!! I was very impressed. She came by with popcorn and suggested we try their signature Bloody Mary’s…the best I’ve ever had… a must try! We shared the Truffle pizza-amaz! Muscles-amaz! a salad to share, and cheesecake for desert-YUM! We also tried their signature margarita-smooth and tasty! We took a tour of the hotel and then ventured outside where a staff member came out with a tray of gram crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate so that we could make s’mores! St. Regis Bar is a definite must try if you are ever in the Park City area.

If you do anything in your life, go to Deer Valley and get the Winter’s Dream hot cocoa. As many before me have likely said(nay, raved), the aforementioned libation is life-altering. LIFE. ALTERING. Prepare accordingly so you don’t get overly excited and order seven and fall asleep in the funicular later.

My husband and I visited Park City for a day for fall colors and heard about champagne sabering so we might as well try this bar. Where is St. Regis service??? The service quality was less than average at local bars in LA. They provide much better for sure. Sunset view was nothing. Very disappointing experience though signature Bloody Mary was delicious.

Stay far away from the food in the bar area during off season. Only getting 1 star because the waiter was fantastic. I’ve honestly never been this disappointed at a St. Regis property before. My mother had the caprese salad which tasted like cardboard and the salad and soup wasn’t any better.

Excellent after ski experience. Ride up the funicular from the Deer Valley parking lot, taking in the great view of the resort. Emerge to the right to walk out onto the patio. For spring skiing it is a comfortable outdoor atmosphere. I’m no longer a drinker but there is and interesting drink menu including several different Bloody Mary choices. The hit chocolate was excellent. It is worth the high cost of the drinks to soak in the St. Regis atmosphere without having to pay $$$$ for a room. Only shortfall is that service could have been a bit better.

YUM! Super friendly wait staff, great food, delicious drinks, and very accommodating to my family(including two kiddos). Be sure to get a table by the fire indoors when it’s too cold. We’ll be back!

Always a good time at the St Regis. Its ski in-ski out and a Deer Valley spot, so its definitely expensive… but the atmosphere and experience are worth it. The patio with fire-pit and heaters is a great way to take in the view of Deer Valley and Park City… oh yeah, and a signature Bloody Mary! Every evening at 530(winter) or 630 they do a tribute to the end of a work day by sabring off the top of a champagne bottle. All the guest present get a free glass of champagne to toast the end of the day. Its pretty fun.

One of the primo bars in Park City. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but the quality of the cocktails and the excellent service makes it worth it. Every night they also have a sabering of a champagne bottle and explain the history behind why they do it. It’s pretty cool if you haven’t seen it before and they serve complimentary champagne right after. Most importantly, get the 7452 Bloody Mary when you visit. Hands down one of the best blood marys I’ve ever had. Even if you don’t like them, you have to give the St. Regis’ version a try. Truly amazing.

Love this place, great people watching, mushroom soup over delivers, make sure you order the truffle pizza. The common table is a nice place to park it and enjoy their perfect Bloody Mary.

Great place for casual dinner and watch Super Bowl. Delicious burger and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Only one issue, the obnoxious Patriot fans. Wear your jerseys to Utah? Really tacky.

You will not be disappointed. We went there for a cocktails. The funicular is amazing. You have the best views of deer valley. When you get to the top, the outdoor area is beautiful. They have fire pits to keep you warm. Order the Winters Dream– Bailey’s & Hot Chocolate. Also, the Utah Martini, Orange Kettle One Vodka with Prosecco. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoy going here when I’ve saved my pennies for a signature cocktail and want to be treated like royalty. The St. Regis does not disappoint. First off, you may take advantage of the valet parking or park in the Deer Valley lot for free. Enjoy the funicular ride up to the top! Don’t forget to snap some photos of the incredible views. Their signature cocktails are amazing. If you’re a fan of bloody marys, definitely try one. If not, anything else is great. I enjoyed a Moscow mule the last time I was there. Another time I had a delicious mimosa. Like I said, it’s expensive but worth a splurge because what an experience. You won’t forget the St. Regis bar.

Ok, the funicular ride is entertaining. The view is great… drinks on the patio for sunset is fantastic. It’s expensive, which should’t be surprising. I actually wasn’t crazy about the St. Regis bloody mary… my Oktoberfest pork also wasn’t the greatest(German potato salad was really dry). I’m sure they do a good job with most things.

St. Regis Bloody Mary — this review is to address their«Signature» cocktail only — the staff and atmosphere were very cool:) The St Regis Bloody Mary must be the result of an inside joke. After tasting it, I immediately looked for the cameras to confirm that I was on an episode of Punk’d. The drink was weak liquored with a dishwater-like consistency and taste. It had absolutely no tomato flavor and was topped with blob of green goo — apparently to compliment the black salt on the rim. Yuck. Truly disgusting.

Beautiful view and interior. We enjoyed the champagne toast at 5:30 on the patio before moving inside for a cocktail. I had my go to cocktail, a Manhattan. It was very average. Due to the ridiculous price tag, I was even more aware of the lack of balance in the drink. I am fine with the Utah liquor laws keeping the amount poured in check, but I have had some fabulous Manhattans in our great state. For $ 16…really? The service inside was very friendly and prompt but a disappointment for such a prestigious, resort bar.

Note: This review is for an evening cocktails experience. Such a wonderful, classy, fun experience coming to this bar. Whenever we have friends visiting, we always take them to this great little place! And brag about how we love it ;) To get to the bar you take a glass funicular(an elevator-type lift) to the St. Regis mountain-top building. The funicular offers a great view of the surrounding Deer Valley area, sparkling and lit up — and at sunset is spectacular! The Bar is to the right of JG Grill, and its dark wood, oversized barstools, and private-like booths by the fire make it upscale while still youthful and fun. The servers are attentive and very friendly. They kept our waters full, empty glasses cleared, and with nice quick conversation in between. Oh — and if you’re looking for a unique drink, try one if their delicious housemade sodas(my favorite is sour orange) with your choice of vodka mixed! So yummy. The fires outside are beautiful and come with stunning views of the mountain range, especially at sunset! But beware — they are NOT warm fires, so of you come in the winter be sure to bring your scarf, mittens, and parka! And get your drink from inside — they don’t serve outside at night in the winter. But it’s totally worth it to enjoy a martini outside in the snow in a gorgeous setting! Go by yourself, with your love, or take some friends. Great little spot!
