Savor the summit on Main Street in PC. Wahso Has a line and no one else does. Also others have Main Street dining Wahso doesn’t!

We ordered Kimchi rolls, udon noodles and Korean chicken… The food was really good and chicken was perfect. The crème Brule on the coconut was amazing. The ambience was really good. Perfect for special occasions

Had dinner here tonight. Chinese buns, pork and duck, both delicious, just a bit spicy. King pis shrimp was also excellent. Halibut special was one of 2 of the best fish dishes my husband has ever eaten. Filet mignon beef and broccoli was yummy. Enjoyed our dinner and had excellent service from our attentive waitress.

I tried to block this place from my memory, but as I am en route to Park City, I feel obligated to share my experience. I visited with my girlfriend in January during the week after Christmas. The food here is very average and overpriced. But, what makes Wahso even more underwhelming was the incredibly poor service we received while dining there. We brought a bottle of wine with us, which was opened, but not poured for us. Nor was a wine glass ever refilled during the meal. The paper bag that the wine was in sat on our table through the serving of our appetizers. It was only picked up by the manager after I crumpled it up and threw it onto the seat on the other side of the dining table to clear our table. The wagyu beef we ordered medium rare came out well done. I had to flag down the hostess after several minutes to go find our waiter, who was too busy to check back and see how the meal was. I still tipped 30% to cover the meal and wine to this lazy excuse of a waiter. What an absolutely horrid, horrid experience.

My family has dined here off and on over the last 17 years of coming to Park City to ski. Wahso is well past its prime. The service used to be attentive and the food flavorful(if expensive), but on our last visit the service was dismissive and the food beyond bland with the beef overcooked beyond recognition. We’ve crossed Wahso off of our annual ski week dinner list as a result. Shame. Our kids really loved the décor, sitting in those cozy little rooms for dinner.

Had an 8pm reservation on Friday night which turned into an hour wait because they had a «private party.» They basically turned everyone away with reservations, not even offering apologies only saying that they didn’t have any tables. I have had excuses from Wahso too many times and had to wait minimum of an hour each time I had a reservation. If you go prepare to for rude hosts, a long wait and there is no bar. They are happy for you to roam Main Street while they«ask people who are dining to hurry up!» Better yet just go someplace where they respect a reservation and their clientele.

Rough. Even if you make a reservation plan on waiting for an hour. Also make sure you have a few drinks before so you can deal with the hostess’s attitude.

Our reservation was at 8 and they sat us down at 8:45. Several parties came in with reservations and the hostess kept telling people that because they have a large party they don’t know when they’ll be able to sit them. When we asked them when the party was booked, they said it had been booked a month ago. We made our reservation 3 weeks ago. If they know they’re only going to be able to operate the restaurant at 1⁄3 of its capacity they shouldn’t have accepted reservations as if they would be able to take people at full capacity. Plus they called to confirmed our reservation earlier today. The hostess throughout this ordeal was awful as well. When we finally sit down, the waitress tells us that there are certain items in the menu that we can’t order because they’re reserved for the party. What sort of management does not plan to have items on the menu for their regular guests because a private party wants to have some of those items as well. It’s ridiculous. After the waitress informed us that we could only order certain items on the menu, we severely complained to the manager who said she would send us some appetizers to try. Supposedly they’ll be on the house. Food is good but overall the experience at the beginning just ruined the night.

Some sort of super fishy seared tuna on a food tour… because I’m vegan I got a salad with wilted lettuce. Not impressed

It’s Friday night. We’re vacationing from out of town. We made a reservation ahead of time so we could have a nice dinner with our friends. Restaurant called to confirm at 1pm. We get there and we’re told that there’s a private party so there will be a 30 minute wait(actually was one HOUR+!) The explanation was that someone kept taking reservations as usual… but then why not call in advance to let us know so we can alter our plans? No apology. Just an offer to take our drink order. Not a free drink, mind you, just an opportunity to have us spend more money. Do not recommend. See other reviews with similar experiences!!! Note: We went to Mustang and had a great dinner.

We loved the creative food, ambiance and service! The pork steam buns were a fresh take on them. The crab crusted salmon on Wasabi spinach was fantastic.

I’m in the camp that finds this place to be ridiculous. I understand that I’m going to pay high prices on Main Street, but the food should be special. The chicken was nice, but not for $ 30+. There was nothing Asian/fusion about it; it was just a well-made piece of chicken. The potatoes that accompanied it were doused with way too much dry seasoning(sort of like Lawry’s?) The Thai soup was fine and at $ 10, was a fair price. The complimentary wonton crisps sort of cheapened the experience.

Expensive and underwhelming! Like most restaurants in Park City not up to the reviews. This restaurant was, unfortunately I did not read until after I had dinner. All the locals gave it a really great rating but it is not! Had the duck and this is one of the few times I sent an entrée back. I prepare duck for myself and I know how difficult this and rabbit is. But the texture was terrible and it was like chewing salt water taffy but worse it was tasteless. Coffee was excellent as was their wine recommend. My friend had the fish and no complaints. Also I found the menu boring.

Le Colonial in Chicago you have some competition in Park City ! We just finished a wonderful and very romantic dinner. The duck was prepared perfectly as was their special salmon that had a nice Asian kick ! We finished with the coconut cream brûlée, which is served in a coconut shell. The hostess and our server were top shelf. Highly recommend

Chinese? Asian Fusion? Whatever it is it worked for my tastes. There were a number of things on the menu I went back and forth on and ended up going gluten free with the Vietnamese Spring Rolls — caramelized pineapple /cucumber /avocado /nuoc cham, and Wahso ‘Beef and Broccoli’ — ginger fried rice /garlic roasted broccoli /hong kong demi /ponzu brown butter. Both were outstanding and though the spring rolls seemed familiar the beef and broccoli dish, which I had pictured in my head as being more traditional, ended up being a pleasant surprise of being something good and unusual. The Sundance prix fixe mandated three selections but with an ask our table of nearly 10 people were allowed to choose only two between our after party and our after-after party.

Overpriced, average food with arrogant service. We tried Wahso during a our 5-day trip to Deer Valley. It was the only place that we ate in Park City, and I feel like it was a wasted evening and missed opportunity for good food. We tried the pork belly buns and dumplings/pot stickers for an appetizer, both were OK. Two members of our party tried the Thom Kha Gai(Chicken/Coconut/Galangal soup), and it was disappointing at best. We also tried the Thai Beef Salad and the Pork Rib Ramen, which were OK but not worthy of the price. Finally, I tried the«Beef and Broccoli» with the Waghu New York Strip option. The beef was cooked well, but severely lacking in flavor, even with the reduction and dipping sauce. The best part of the meal, by far, was the complimentary wonton chips and dipping sauce. Drop the attitude, rethink the menu, and get a chef that can cook. The lights are nice, however. Tourist trap.

This place is so overpriced. The food is average at best, very simple, nothing out of the ordinary, and with a markup of 300%. It is the poster child for tourist trap. You pay for the pretty lights outside, which are the only good thing about the place. I wasted an evening here. Avoid, unless you like the feeling of being had.

We stopped in last night for Wahso Wednesdays… and what a deal it is for the quality of food and drink served! I had the cocktail of the night and could have enjoyed many more — it was a take on the piña colada and it was delicious. We started with the edamame and potstickers and both were fantastic! The old bay on the edamame gave it some additional flavor that we unexpected and so delightfully good. They gave each table some chips to dip in their mustard sauce — wow, this stuff is addictive! For my entrée, I enjoyed the beef with broccoli and ate every last morsel… so tasty, flavorful and just the right portion size. The rest of our party enjoyed their dinners as well — the korean chicken, the teriyaki salmon and the crab crusted salmon — yummy! The only reason I didn’t give this place five stars… our server seemed bothered that we asked to do separate checks and that we were ordering off of the Wahso Wednesday menu!

My friend and I had dinner here last Friday night. In a word yum yum yum. Wahso is Michael white’s asian themed restaurant in pc(local celebrity restauranteur). The menu is asian themed and had a lot of fusion type entrees like miso cod but always with a european twist. What I love is that the menu items are labeled gluten free when applicable. For asian entrees, it’s surprising that they have so many gluten free items, given the addition of gluten to many of the sauces. The restaurant also has a nice selection of wines and wines by the glass. Our original wine was not to our liking and our super gracious server was more than happy to replace it stating, «why drink something you don’t like?» Food deserves a solid A/A–(I’m spoiled by NYC cuisine) with an A+ once you factor in service and excellent ambiance of the restaurant.
