Echoing the sentiment of Kumar L., the dude running the place at night is a complete idiot. We called in a placed an ordered for pickup. We got to the place and the guy behind the counter starts scrambling when we told him our order number. Manager comes out and immediately blames Kumar and his family for taking the wrong order. They got into it and started shouting across the restaurant. Eventually he tells us we’re going to have to wait for our order after slamming his hands down on the counter. We left immediately. Really embarrassing representation of the restaurant and the Singa’s pizza name as a whole. Won’t be returning.

Terrible night time manager. They gave me the wrong pizzas and when I didn’t fuss about it they blamed me for screwing up their orders. Short guy with glasses who seemed to be the manager. started yelling at me calling me a stupid customer cause I’m eating what I didn’t order. I screamed back and got into a big shouting match. Another customer started yelling at the manager for being so arrogant and got yelled at and threatened by the manager. Pizza is over all not as good as other singas but never had a problem like this in my entire life eating out. Hope the owner does the right thing and tosses this guy. After years of going there never going back and will convey that to all my friends and family in the area. Last thing I thought while taking my parents wife and 2 year old son for a quick dinner was getting. Screamed at by a disgruntled worker. Do yourself a favor and if you see a guy with glasses and beard running shot at night. Just walk out

This place is awesome! I like their buy 2 get 1 free deal. The personal pies make it a great deal and the flavor and texture is also great. I believe they put a good amount of ingredients for the toppings in comparison to other places. The crust is amazing as well. It isn’t like most places and they make it superb quality. The pizza is great and is a staple place to eat whenever we are in town or when we have family over. I definitely recommend coming here.

Very fresh vegetable toppings. Was not too impressed with their meat pizzas. The Singas special is awesome though. Delivery through grubhub is awesome

Pizza was delicious and flavorful. The sauce was just right and the ingredients couldn’t get any fresher than this. They have one in NY as well but glad they deliver to my location! The delivery service was quick and I even got a complimentary water bottle ;) Manager even called me to confirm that they didn’t have one of the ingredient I wanted so I substituted for sweet sausage. The three pizzas I ordered came still hot and I live 4.3 miles away. Great job guys, will order from here again, maybe tmrw ;)

I’d been curious about this place for a very long time — I would always see the sign for it when driving on route 9 north. I was intrigued because it was located in a plaza where they have a lot of Indian stores(grocery, restaurants, etc), so obviously I assumed it was an Indian pizza place. It was only when one of my girl friends told me that she had tried the place and it was good. She also told me it was NOT an Indian pizzaplace. My bf and I finally decided to try it one night we were in the mood for pizza. Thanks to the Unilocal reviews I knew to expect for the pizzas to be smaller than regular pies at other pizzerias/chains. I called and placed an order. I ordered one Singas Special(Beef, Pepperoni, Ham, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Onions, Green Peppers & Cheese and their famous Singas sauce) for me and my bf wanted a Buffalo Chicken. We were asked if we wanted the free Cheese Pizza that came with an order of 2 pizzas with toppings. I gladly replied«Sure!», who turns down free food after all! Total came out to about $ 15-$ 16. My bf said that when he got there, there was one person waiting for their food and another person eating there, but it was not packed. When my bf arrived with the pizzas, I knew right away that we could have easily ordered one of the pies with toppings and that would have been enough for us. Even though the pizzas are personal-pan sized, they’re bigger than Pizza Hut’s personal-pans. They don’t give you their pizzas in a box, instead they put it on a paper plate and have another paper plate which they place on top(you can imagine the size by imagining a paper plate). They then put the pizza in a bag individually. The Special which I ordered was LOADED with toppings, which were very fresh. The pizza was so heavy! My bf wasn’t too happy with his buffalo chicken pizza because he didn’t really like the sauce, he thought it was more sweet than tangy but I tried a slice and enjoyed it. The cheese pizza was also good. Their pizzas have a thinner crust which I enjoy. I don’t like my pizzas to be overly dough-y. After we were done eating, we basically had half of all the pies left over. I think we would have been comfortably full with one pizza with toppings. The cheese pizza is less filling so if we order a cheese pizza next time, we’d prob have to order another pie. Good pizza though and they have lots of different pies! I’m looking fwd to trying the other toppings!

An Indian friend who knows that I like a taste of the exotic recommended that I try Indian-style Pizza. Now before somebody suggests that it is a ridiculous idea to have Indian pizza rather than Italian, I should point out that nearly every country that has adopted pizza has their own touches for making it. The Scots seem to like ham and pineapple pizza, though you rarely find it in the US. You do find it at Singas. I think the Greeks have a teardrop shaped pizza. By the way the Baltic Republics have excellent herring pizza. I like things exotic. I asked my friend what made Indian pizza different from, say, American pizza. He was sort of at a loss to put it into words, making me all the more anxious to try it. Well, based on three pies(I will explain why three later on) I would say that it is not a lot different. The toppings are not particularly exotic sounding. But at least at Singas is piles a lot of toppings on a pizza. Back when I was first ordering pizza I seem to remember that American pizza was made with a lot of toppings, but then pizza parlors started playing the same game that the auto companies did. They make a basic model that is very basic and then they over-charge for lots of options or in this case toppings. Singas loaded the lots of toppings on. They did that a little more for their vegetarian pizzas than for the pepperoni and mushroom, but it wasn’t bad. Then there are the condiments. There is the grated Parmesan and the pepper flakes. They are also just like the US. But they also had bottles of Start Hot Curry Sauce.(Did I mention I like exotic flavors?) Good stuff and it does lend an Indian flavor to the pizza. In Parlin of you like the Start sauce you can find it just a few feet away at Patel Grocery. The North Brunswick Singas is also right next to an Indian grocery, I think. Singas is a chain, and they there are several in New Jersey. A large pizza will serve people, but they have a deal that if you buy two large pizzas you get a free smaller pizza. That means that I will be eating pizza for breakfast for a long time to come. Side note: the best way to reheat pizza is not in an oven but in a covered fry pan at medium heat. No oil. Check it every two or three minutes to see when the cheese gets soft. The lower crust gets crispy. The toppings rejuvenate just fine. The result rivals fresh pizza.

Their pizza is OK. The one in Iselin is much better. We ate here once and spoke to the owner regarding their delivery service and he informed me exactly what I needed to order and how much the total needed to be to deliver to my residence. We tried to order for delivery today, more than what he told us was the minimum, and went through the order and even got a total before I heard the owner say«I’m not driving that far». The«furthest point» is less than a half mile away from our location and is less than a 15 minute drive. That turned me off completely. It’s hard enough to hold on to patrons these days as it is and as a business owner myself, I would not turn down a large order over a few minutes of my time to go the extra mile. Owner is rude. The other guy that handles the orders and the register is respectful and nice, though. The owner should hold on to him to make up for his bad attitude.

I LOVE this place! Had singas pizza in other locations as well but this one is not as crowded and hectic and close to home. Buy 2 personal pies and get 1 plain free! Some of the tastiest pizza in NJ.

Singa’s Pizza isn’t exactly NY style pizza, but it’ll do. They do personal size pizzas. Buy 2 get 1 plain for free(toppings extra). Their pizzas are tasty but not anything to write home about. Good to fill the stomach and for families where everybody wants something different. I recommend spinach pizza. Skeptics be damned, spinach is good on pizza.
