I recently wrote a review, but it disappeared. So, I’ll repeat it. Amar B must own or be related to the owner of another bagel shop in town and wrote this to put down the superior competition. I’ve been a customer of Mo’s since B of P opened. His bagels are 6 stars. And this has been confirmed a number of times by jaded NY friends and relatives of mine. Amar, you ordered mixed, and they were all the same… Stick to Lenders frozen«bagels.» You’d probably give them 5 stars. CLOSED after 25+ years. Boo Hoo!

These were the best bagels Parsippany and the surrounding area had to offer, bar none. Baked with precision and care, all by hand the traditional way, Bagels of Parsippany represented bagel perfection. They had a nice«hard» outer crust, with a delicious, soft interior. They were baked to the proper level of «doneness» — just right! The bagels were continuously baked in small batches, so odds were you’d be taking home a sack of hot bagels most of the time. The staff was great — two very nice young ladies worked there and the owner always greeted you when you walked in. Sadly this review is written in past tense. Today when I went there, there was sign on the door that read«After 27 years of hard work, Moe’s last day at Bagels of Parsippany is Sunday the 11th(presumably that was 1÷11÷2015). He thanks everyone for their loyalty and wishes everyone the best of luck.» Wow, Moe. We sure wish you the best of all life has to offer. You and your staff brought us a little bit of heaven right here on earth, every day. We will miss you more than you can possibly imagine.

I was passing by Parsippany the other day with a friend and we were in need of a quick to go breakfast. She mentioned this bagel shop and heard good things about it so we decided to check it out. And yes indeed it was delicious! I wish I took a picture of the bagel sandwich I got but I was too excited to eat it! It’s kinda tough finding the shop but ill deff be back!

Best bagels in the area. They are hidden in a strip mall, but it’s worth searching out. The staff is friendly and the bagels are great. Perfect for a quick breakfast.

Stopped by at 7:30am. The place was empty. The staff is nice and bagels are awesome! Definitely up to NYC standards. I will definitely go back again

I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews, but sadly I was disappointed. Sure the bagels are big, but not fresh, at least the day I went. I got half a dozen mixed and every bagel was the same.

This is my first review ever and I’m proud to do it for this outstanding place. I live in NJ now — and have for 11 years but for 22 before that I lived in New York City — I got used to the outstanding bagels you could get in many a place. Well — fast forward to now, finding a perfect bagel in NJ has been a challenge that ended about 5 months ago. I discovered this little shop at 6:15 am on my way to work. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome the fresh bagels are. Plain, Cinnamon Raisin, Garlic, Pumpernickel … I’ve tried all of these with butter or cream cheese — and I can’t determine which I love the most. I go back and forth every week. There are more but these are my favorites. The bagels are warm — sometimes hot — to the point where toasting is really overdoing it. If butter is put on them — by the time you get back to your car, the butter will begin to melt into the gorgeous chew and crunch. Cream cheese will also be an outstanding addition and melts just very slightly creating a perfect taste. This place is so good — they provide the bagels for most of the establishments in the area — which I used to frequent until I discovered their origin. I will definitely be returning again. DON’T let another day pass without stopping by. The coffee is fresh, the strudel and the croissants are perfect, and if you fancy an egg sandwich they can make these too with perfection. Stop by on your way to work — buy a dozen bagels, some butter and some cream cheese. Not only will you be amazed by the cheap price of what you’ve bought, but your co-workers will adore and love you over and over!

I was craving a bagel sandwich one day for lunch… So I stopped in Bagels of Parsippany. First of all, the woman working in there was very nice. I told her I was new to the area and she went on and on bragging about NJ bread an bagels… and she was right. I ordered the Tuna bagel sandwich. It’s your basic tuna salad with a little something extra that I can’t quite explain. Delicious. Only thing… They need to get some bagels with cheese on them. Like an Asiago bagel… that would be a reason for me to keep coming back. P. S. The place can be easily missed! Be on the lookout!

Bagels make me fat. Sometimes I can’t resist. These are real good… and warm first thing in the morning. Staff is friendly.
