I was just racial profiled in this place I come here every morning for breakfast before work and today of all days I have someone chase me out the store asking me if I paid for a $ 1.50 coffee and a bottle of water than I walked in with… it was handled completely unprofessional and inappropriate in the way it was handled and I will not be returning here anymore

Just went here for the first time — and it was amazing! Great selection of gigantic REAL bagels and cream cheese(and they don’t skimp on the cream cheese). Good coffee selection as well, fast and friendly service, small but cozy seating area. Will definitely return, probably every weekend. As we were leaving, we noticed that they also have deli sandwiches — we’ll have to go back for that as well!

This was recommended to me by the nearby Marriott Courtyard for a quick breakfast. The folks here are all very nice but more importantly these are REAL bagels. My son had a bagel and a bagel breakfast sandwich(hockey players can eat a lot!). I had the lox and bagels on a toasted wheat bagel. Both were done just right although, if you are going to serve lox and bagels, you need to have capers — just my opinion. Check this place out if you want a really fresh bagels and nice people.

Bagels were very good and oh so fresh. We both ordered nova with cream cheese on a bagel. Recommended!

Was my go to spot back in the day when I worked in the area. Stopped by recently. Since then I was able to try great bagels. This place is now average. Service is spotty. Bagels need improvement.

I stopped by here for bagels and muffins on the way to work. They have a great selection of pastries, bagels, muffins, cream cheese, etc. They also offer breakfast items like egg and bacon. The service was quick and very friendly. The bagels and muffins tasting good and everyone at work liked them.

Been here a couple of times due to convience. Food was ok. The people who works there are not the friendliest. Not very clean. I got an omelet with lots of egg shells…

Good food… small place and not the cleanest. Sometimes I can’t watch them cook, but the food is always food. I do always feel like I’m getting overcharged every time I come here though. Still, good bagels and coffee.

Food is pretty good. Good service. Knocked off two stars because their menu says WEDELIVERY, but when I asked to place an order for delivery today I was told they usually don’t on Sundays. Well take it off your menu then.

Ordered a sausage bacon egg and cheese with tomato on a roll but by 11 they were out of rolls. No biggy, I got on toast instead. Sandwich was great just no tomato. Friend order grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and it came without the bacon. She went up to have it fixed and they charged her a dollar to add it. I was unhappy with there service and even though sandwich tasted good I would not return.

Small, quick and friendly. They have outdoor seating when the temperature is nice. They have delicious bagels wraps sandwiches and pastries. Recommendations: Healthy wrap, Italian burrito, Cinnamon raisin bagel with cinnamon cream cheese.

I went in there last Thursday and have to tell you this was the dirtiest place I have ever seen — and if that’s what is in FRONT of the customers, what can you think might be happening in the areas that you can’t see. They ring amounts on the register that are more than the sign behind them on the wall. When I asked the man the reason, he asked the fat man who must be an owner or manager about it, and all he did was curse in some foreign language.(OBVIOUSLY!) and grumble something about it. Perhaps he should take a bath once a month, whether he needs it or not, and treat his customers with a little more respect than feeling like people don’t matter. Stopped here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Layout is your typical bagel store that we all know and love. Was a bit cramped inside which could pose a problem if it was busy. I ordered basic sandwich of salami and cheese. Meats and cheeses were sliced to order and placed a fresh, crisp, HUGE hero. Mustard, lettuce, and onions to finish the job was all i expected however i was happy to find out that I got a pickle and a choice of salad to go with it. The craziest part about this whole story was the it was UNDER7 dollars. I couldn’t believe it. The sandwich was gigantic, plus the extras will normally run you at least 8 dollars if not more in the area. Taste didn’t suffer either. They had a pretty extensive menus of hot items that they offer as well as a plethora of bagels to choose from. Well done baldwin bagels, i’ll be back.

The inconsistency has become too much to tolerate, can no longer recommend this establishment.

Before we moved to Parsippany, we used to go to Baldwin Bagels regularly and they were always pretty good, a little small, but crunchy outside and chewy inside-lots of flavors and great cream cheese. Sandwiches were also very good. I happened to be in the area the other day and decided to give them a try. So I ran in, ordered a pork roll, egg and cheese on a hard roll, and got some bagels to go. The sandwich was ok, but I couldn’t tell if it was real Taylor Ham or crappy pork roll-usually I can tell right away… was good, but just tasted ‘different’. The bagels were also decent, a little small, but a nice crunch and chewy inside. GREAT strawberry cream cheese. Coffee was just ok, I don’t know why so many places around here have such crappy coffee… it really isn’t that hard. I’d go back if in the area, but there was just something missing I think. The food was ok, maybe 3.5 stars… I just wanted it to be better.

So disappointed… This is actually my fault. I ordered cheese quesadilla at a bagel place… so I got it. After the first bite, I realized, they used AMERICANCHEESE! Definitely NOT going here again!

Great bagels, but could be cheaper considering so many Dunkin’ Donuts are in this town.

The food is good I like the Bagels better. The sandwiches are good but my only complaint is that whenever I ask for light with mayo i still get a heavy amount of mayo. Other wise thats my only complaint.

I imposed a moratorium on myself to stop going to places recommended by Unilocalers, since I do not agree with Unilocalers and lately, they are just wrong. I didn’t adhere to my own self imposed moratorium and I visited Baldwin Bagels. It appeared to be a good bagel place, the neon«hot bagel» sign was in the window, it was busy, the bagels were in bins, and they had names that were representative of bagels, plain, poppy, sesame, they even looked like bagels. Alas, these were not bagels. A bagel is to be chewy, but not huge. There has to be a denseness to the bagel, it shouldn’t have a good chewy crust, only to reveal a mammoth fluffy mess inside. They were not expensive as Tinyee H claimed. They sell bagels, and if in Parsippany, I guess it would suffice, but to claim these are good bagels, is a shanda.

Got the poppy bagel with cream cheese and Nova lox, toasted. The poppy bagel is covered in poppy seeds, top and bottom. It has a crusty top and soft and tender center. The Nova lox is layered thick and abundant. They’re not thin slices! In the sandwich, the lox pretty much takes over the creamcheese. It’s salty and smoky; reminds me of being in some remote fishing village in the northwest. Somewhat pricey, though, for Parsippany. Almost charging the same prices as NYC. Will have to try other bagels.
