Delivery is slow but it’s bc it’s so popular… We order here @ work all the time for the healthy alternative to fatty take out!

Only reason why I’m giving 2 stars is because the girl over the phone was very nice and I always appreciate good customer service. But I’m so deeply disappointed in the quality of the food. I only took a few bites of both my honey bbq nuggets and baked potato with cheddar and broccoli. It was absolutely atrocious. It tasted like rubber and like it was microwaved, which by reading many of the comments now, I don’t doubt it was. Just not what I was expecting whatsoever especially since I spent $ 12 on something I only took a few bites out of without almost vomiting. Let’s just say I’ll attempt being healthy somewhere else.

Work in the area, prices are too expensive for the quality and amount of food you pay for. I paid 4.00 for a microwaved«baked» potato. The turkey meat balls have zero flavor. I will not be going back and will be spreading the word around the office.

Idea of the place is nice but not executed well. First off they’re very over priced. And delivery takes a while. Also, on the topic of delivery, about three separate times I called for delivery and they said they’re not delivery because their delivery guy didn’t show up. Two times were only a day apart and the other was a week later. The salad was pretty good but tiny for the price! I ordered a chicken and broccoli dinner and it was just awful. The chicken was cold and broccoli mushy. My mom, who picked it up, said they microwaves it and she didn’t even see an oven(or toaster oven) or a grill or any cooking equipment. Bottom line: I wouldn’t get more than a salad or meatless meal here

Had the Santa-Fe wrap brown rice, red beans, turkey bacon, low fat cheddar cheese, extra signature sauce on a jalapeño wrap.(not too spicey at all) with a side of turkey meatballs next visit I’m having the Rocky wrap and after the tenth wrap you get a free wrap so between that and the friendly service I will be back!

Ordered the meal online as a surprise for my girlfriend. I paid for the meal online with my credit card. Muscle Maker in Parsippany delivered the meal and charged her the entire balance again on delivery. Even after she said it was probably paid for, they insisted it wasn’t. I called the store and they put me on hold for somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes before I hung up. She actually decided to call the store, got through, and they finally realized the mistake. On top of that, $ 11 for a salad that anywhere else would be considered a side dish. I’ll pass. I understand eating healthy, but they must have given us a side salad and not an entrée.

So far I have continued venturing into the menu with out disappointment. The strawberry banna protein shake is good, the peanut butter chocolate even better. The mardi gras salad is a win and the Cajon chicken pasta and penne wirh whole grain doesn’t fall too far away. Love this place wish more places would put the calories of each entrée on the menu like this place

My new go to lunch spot… been working out more and watching what I eat so I’ve gravitated toward MMG for a good, nutritious lunch time and time again. The Parsippany location has real nice folks working the counter, a big plus. Usually get the Rocky Balboa(yo) or the Turkey meatball wrap. Pay the extra $ 1 for the steamed spinach. Popeye was right. Put down your fast food and try MMG

I love muscle maker grill in general and this location is no exception. Manager(Slider) is very attentive and seems to really care about providing excellent service. Highly recommend.

Muscle Maker Grill: fake healthy food. Their claim to fame seems to be that they post the calories for all their meals, but outside of that, it’s just another fast food joint. Typical processed junk. If you’re marketing health food, go source local farms and stock fresh ingredients. MMG’s target audience is the NJ gorilla who splits time primarily between the gym and eating man-i-cod, mooz-u-del, and cal-i-mad in ma-yi-nad. As for the food itself, it falls in the category of tasting«just ok». I’ve had a few wraps and side dishes, and find the flavors underwhelming.

It’s a shame not all Muscle Makers are created equal. The food quality from this one was far different than the food quality at the Clifton location. First, the turkey burger wrap had no cheese and no sauce, which is something it is supposed to come with. Second, the turkey meat itself was loose meat — a real mess. The Clifton location uses some type of patty that is cut into slivers — much tastier and easier to handle. Third, what was that seasoning on the pasta salad? There was a bunch of pepper and something pink in there that burned my tongue. Pasta salad was overcooked and mushy too, except for the parts that were inexplicably crispy. The rest of the reviews seem favorable, so perhaps it was an off day.

I love MMG. Here all the time and have had only one complaint in all my years going there, which they resolved swiftly. The rotating specials are always good, though I wish I could get them on the off days. I never have to wait very long for my order and everything always seems fresh. I wish they offered some kind of membership since I’m there all the time but they do have a wrap card that gets you one for free. Anyway, great place to sit down with a friend or grab something to go.

So I was first introduced to Muscle Maker in 2004 when I used to work by their location in Fords, NJ which I believe was the original restaurant. Ever since they Franchised it’s never been the same, no matter which location you go to they’re all the same. The portions aren’t as big as they used to be, the dishes aren’t as fresh, and the flavors are rather bland. I’m disappointed, I used to be a big fan but somewhere between 2004 and 2013 it went wrong. I’ll give them 3 stars because it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. Oh and the western potatoes were a bowl of Spicy Mushed Potatoes, that dish should be reconsidered.

Eh. I get caught up in the hype of things all the time so of course I had to try this place because people much larger then me always talk about how great it is. First off place seemed a bit disorganized, i wasn’t sure where to go to order and no one really offered any help but I finnally figured out what I wanted and was able to have someone help me. Seems strange that the gent that took my order took it in front of the counter as opposed to behind. Then had to reach over the coutner to get my change. I was confused but hey, maybe thats the muscle maker way. I waited a bit for my $ 6 dollar wrap and went back to my office. When i opened it I was dissapointed by the size but not by the taste. It was very good but also very small. I supposed this is one way everything on their menu remains«healthy» but my lunch was one of the cheapest offereings. I cant imagine what the portions looked like for some of the pricier items. Overall, i’ll stick to salads that cost the same but make me feel like I’m eating an actual meal and not a snack.

Been back several times and still love this place. The food is excellent and I love that it is healthy. Last night I ordered a MMG wrap and balsamic potato salad. It is nice to find a place that allows you to order something a little healthier than normal fast food. Although healthier does not mean low in calories so you have to be careful with what you order. Phone ahead if you don’t want to wait.

I was travelling with a business associate and to grab something quick before our next meeting and we didnt have much time so MMG got the nod. I gave this five stars because they arent promising you a gourmet meal. You should know what to expect when you go to a place like this. I expected fast food that would be healthier than mcdonalds, etc. Thats exactly what i got and more. The place was clean, the people were more pleasant than any other fast food joint ive ever been too, and the food was very satisfying. The Rocky Balboa was delicious, filling, and a hell of a lot healthier than a quarter pounder! Try this place for a healthier alternative with flavor thats actually satisfying when your watching what you eat. Hope they put one closer to me soon.

What a surprise! After driving up and down Route 46 trying to find a healthy meal, I gave up and was ready to go to Moe’s Grill and try to adjust the menu to my diet(down from 202 pounds to 165 in 3 months). I saw Muscle Maker Grill and walked in. Okay-this place is full of testosterone-definitely truth in advertising! Everyone had muscles on top of muscles. Thankfully they were extremely nice and no ‘roids rage! At the cashier/order taker’s advice, I ordered the low-carb(450 calories I discovered) «Godfather.» Chicken breast with low-fat mozzarella, peppers, nice sauce over freshly steamed broccoli… Broccoli was perfect! Served fast, hot and delicious! Never got boring and I left satisfied. Then I was inspired to work out for an hour at the hotel gym… seriously… I can’t wait to try a few other dishes! I will be back and seek them out in my travels!

I think the food here is pretty good and I like the fact that they cater to specific diets. I have made a ton of special requests/changes and they have always found a way of accomodating them. The portions are decent and I have been able to save ½ of my meal for dinner on quite a few occasions. The only thing I would add is nutritional info right next to The items on the menu.
