Wow, this is a great pizzeria. The pizza we ordered was delicious. The garlic knots were fantastic, just the right amount of garlic and butter. The buffalo wings were just OK, however the blue cheese dressing was very tasty. The décor is appealing and music was very New York. Diffenately coming back.

We’ve been here several times for take out. The food in consistently good. They can take a while for the takeout but it is always hot and fresh. The garlic knots are my personal favorite; very flavorful. Their pizza is really good too. It is a family run business from my understanding and they are well managed. The price is more than a regular pizza place but you definitely get what you pay for.

My favorite pizza place within a 30 min drive from home. Sauce and ingredients are really top notch. Variety of pizza’s make for some great flavor combinations. The crust is a great complement. It doesn’t overdo or take away from the creation. It isn’t thin crust, but it is airy enough to not make you full on dough alone. The slices are huge, typical NY style. This is a great pizza place.

We love this place. We discovered it a month ago and ever since we stop by once a week. Being from NYC it reminds me of my neighborhood pizzeria where we would grab a slice after school. Love this place and I recommend it to everyone!!!

Best NY pizza outside of NY.(Better than some inside NY). Great meatball parm too. If you haven’t been here then go. You won’t regret it. Seating can be tough so plan for take out on fri or sat night if possible.

I was on a quest for the best NY style pizza in, and around Baltimore. Out of the many recommendations on Facebook, this place struck my curiosity the most. On my first visit the owner hooked me up with a few of his signature garlic rolls(knots) along with my slice of meat lover’s and slice of Hawaiian. Everything was ONPOINT! Make this place a priority if you’ve never been. You won’t be disappointed!

Checked out this place last night. I’m from Chicago, so it is a little hard to impress me with pizza out here. With that being said I gave this place a shot. The pizza wasn’t bad but their sauce was way to acidic. They need to cut it with sugar or something. The crust could use some flavor also. Overall not bad, but due to the sauce and my hatred for heartburn I most likely won’t be back.

Lots of different options for dinner. Please keep in mind we didn’t try the pizza but heard great things. I ordered chicken wings and a Greek salad. The wings were nice and crunchy. I like them cooked a little longer. We ordered my daughter the chicken parmesan. It was huge! If you have two kiddos, they can share. It was good, I had a few bites. My husband ordered the supreme cheese steak. The bread was delish. It tasted so fresh. Great sandwich.
Prices were very reasonable. We will be returning to try the pizza and the highly recommended garlic knots. Great family owned business.

AS A CHEF&foodie, I appreciate great food made from scratch. My focal point was on the sub rolls great flour& old school baking techniques, will always turnout amazing bread. It elevated my sub experience. I will be back in a week. Normally I run to philly, pa just to get cheesesteak, but this runs 2nd best.

Family owned pizza place. Such a great staff very warm and inviting. Excellent food and so much to chose from. Pizza, Cold Cuts, Pastas, Calzones, Sandwiches, Fries and their addictive Garlic Knots. Everything made from scratch. Made that day. Hot out of the oven. You can carry out or dine in. Nice little hidden place in Pasadena Maryland.

Service can be slow. The pizza is pretty good, as well as the spaghetti. This is a great place if you are looking for a «quick-stop» Italian restaurant.

Great NY pizza. My Monday pizza takeout spot. And they know I’m coming. Cheese pie for under $ 10. what a deal. NY Italian immigrant owned And operated by the maestro. Italian passport is on the wall. Sinatra soundtrack in eat in area Subs are wonderful, crisp, hot not soggy. Fries were still hot with my takeout. Friday and Saturdays they can get mobbed by locals. closed Sundays

The pizzas here are tasty and fresh. We love the Margherita(with great flavors of garlic, fresh basil — even in the winter — and creamy mozzarella), Grandma’s pizza with a touch of smokiness and their veggie pizza which is loaded so high you have to use a fork to eat it. Their house salad has great greens and romaine and the house dressing is tasty and unique. I only wish they had a coal fired oven to add that special taste. The carry out line can get long but it’s with it!

Friendly customer service and interesting menu. Tried the meat lovers and margarita pizza slice. They were really tasty! The dough could have been saltier but overall liked everything! The shop is small but clean and enjoyed the art. Would like to try some of the subs next time!

The guys running 1978 are Legit Italian, I’m pretty sure. The garlic knots are super tasty! The pizza is good, but GREASYYYY! It’s pretty limp when you lift it up, but it’s tasty! The wings that we had were way overcooked. **Updated 9/2015** We’ve since ordered out and dined in a few more times and they really are great for pizza! It’s truly reminiscent of NYC pizza pies! Still greasy, but super good!
