«Holy Sh*t it’s Rick’s Burger!!!» Not every is gonna love this place… but I remember Rick’s and am glad its still around. Pros: — They give you ALOTOFFOOD. — Pretty standard stuff, but it does taste delicious — Fairly cheap price — Friendly-ish staff Cons: — The female staff look prison tough(which is actually kind of a pro too) — The sign says Bobby’s instead of Rick’s Mental Note: Go here more… don’t take it for granted like you did to Rick’s.

Best place to have a bacon breakfast sandwich. Real good people. Good service. Very friendly.

Completely average experience. Food was decent. Ordered the cheeseburger, burrito, fries and it was all ok. Décor was ok. Service is meh. When you can see people on their cellphones in a service oriented business, it’s wholly unattractive. Would not return

My husband and I love this place. Price is amazing, serving size is even better, and the food quality tops it all up! Yum yum yum!

*** NOFRILLSAMERICANFOOD *** bobby’s place is a nice, little diner located in the ralph’s parking lot on lake. i love breakfast burritos. theirs is fresh, hot, and cheap. ordered the bacon breakfast burrito which was made to order as all the food is. it came with a salsa. there are a couple breakfast burritos i prefer more but it fit the bill. since we shared the burrito, we decided to share a burger to just for kicks. asked the guy if he would make burgers that early, he said that everything in the menu is available. it was a basic burger. hubby actually prefers basic burgers to the fancy schmancy ones. next time i want to try the spuderito.

While waiting a really long time for my child to arrive, I went over and ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage. Nice crispy fries inside, melted cheddar cheese blended nicely with the sausage and egg. Quick, tasty, and $ 4.74. Can’t beat that.

The chicken burrito was too salty for me. There wasn’t much variety of food — no salads. I did like the fried zucchinis.

Great food. Friendly service. Bobby is the coolest. The Ortega Burger and veggie burritos are my favorites, but everything is good. It can get busy at lunch time, but the line goes quickly. The dining room is basic, but comfortable enough.

Spuderito was good. I also ordered a vanilla milk shake. My family has been eating«Bobby’s Place» for years, when it was called«Rick’s Burgers» on Walnut. You can park in the shared parking lot with Ralphs.

This is a revived version of a Pasadena favorite. Came here for lunch and ate a bean and cheese burrito with lettuce, tomato, and hot sauce. It was pretty decently sized burrito for a little over $ 3. It was also pretty quiet and there was no wait. Um ok !

Been eating here about 2 years. Friendly service, consistently good food! If you like spicy, try the Ortega Burger, omg, sooooo good! Get some extra hot sauce on the side too, so flavorful!!! Upd: newest obsession is the Taco Bowl! Spicy green dressing and so much food!

Breakfast all day at Bobby’s Place :) The bacon breakfast burrito is a fair size for a great price. The tortilla comes with egg wrapped around a few strips of bacon, FRENCHFRIES, melted cheddar, and hot sauce. Their«spuderito» is a french fry/cheddar/hot sauce burrito and worth trying at least once. Bobby’s «hot sauce» is great — not very hot, but it has a nice savory, tomato-y flavor — and melds really well with their gooey, oozy cheese.

All I can say is «MMMM-MMMMGOOD!» There is something about their burgers that makes my mouth water and they are the perfect place for late night feasting! I absolutely love the dining room, but, as usual, I get my orders to go so I haven’t actually eaten there. It’s good to see that the cooks have plenty of space to move around since the last location was super tight. I do miss the late night window, but I the food hasn’t changed which is great! Parking can definitely be tricky because you can really access the back lot by cutting through Ralphs. You have to go down Walnut, pass the Ralph’s, and hand a right at the next street. Be careful, though… it’s a one way street. I am pretty sure that street is Mentor, but don’t quote me. :)

In the words of Larry David… These breakfast burritos are prettay… Prettay… Prettay good… I always get the bacon burrito and the husband gets the sausage burrito, consistently tasty! Also, it’s pretty affordable, I think $ 3.25 per burrito? All you need is one, trust me.

No mames!!! This place has made me a fan and for those who hate, well then, I appreciate that you won’t be holding up the lines. Let’s be clear this is a cut above the other fast food chains of Del Taco, Taco Bell and Alberto’s. Also, my review is on the beef burrito with hot sauce and beef taco combo. I have not tried any other items but when I have a craving for those two items I know exactly where to go. Prices are reasonable, staff has been friendly each time and since I’ve been here often they now ask«the usual»! This will eventually become my «Cheers» so long as they do not disappoint.

Want something to satisfy your hunger? Need something quick? How about something affordable? Bobby’s Place is unpretentious, and that is reflected in the food — a simple menu with several inspired items. It is home to a gem known as the spuderito — a burrito hybrid with stringy, melted cheese, fries, meat/beans, and hot sauce. PERFECTION and a whole lot of it at $ 3.15. And because I’m 5’5″ at less than 100 pounds with something to prove… I ordered myself a second dinner — the Cheeseburger special which included a ¼ lb cheeseburger, fries, and drink. I inhaled the cheeseburger which didn’t appear to be anything special, but it made up for its looks in great flavor. All this topped off with heaping amounts of thick and fresh fries that weren’t too salted(curse my high blood pressure), I was almost satisfied! And then came the orange bang… and I was happily passing out from a food coma. It doesn’t get any better if you’re in the mood for fast food with an emphasis on fast because my meal was prepared fresh for me in a jiffy! Staff is very friendly, patient, helpful, and courteous as well. Décor is similar to Johnny Rocket’s with a little more personality — the funny sign near the register, the big clock on the wall, and the mural of well-known locations around the area. Parking is plentiful and located in the back. Drive onto Mentor(one-way street), and turn into the shared lot on the right immediately after Ralphs.

What crazy ass wardrobe did I fail to walk through where this place ranks five stars? Have you all been fed PCP laced Turkish Delight by a White Witch, because otherwise there is simply no excuse for thinking this place isn’t one step below the commissary at Guantanamo. Where to begin… How about the tweedle dum and tweedle dumber behind the counter who looked as though they were more interested in watching basketball on the flatscreen TV than taking my order? These two jagoffs looked like extras who wandered off the set of The Hills Have Eyes, and had a personality to match. «What’s in the vegetable burrito?» I ask reasonably. «Vegetables.» said fucktard number one, like I was the dumb ass. Next let’s move on to the décor, shall we? Think a double-wide decorated by heroin addicts to look like Johnny Rockets who then decided to sell off the choicer pieces for a couple dime bags, and you’d still be overselling the place. But the worst was what passed as food. Imagine what aforementioned heroin addicts would make you for breakfast after a three day bender by scraping the contents out of the near empty condiment containers found in the bottom a dumpster. Canned refried beans? Likely. Pace picante sauce instead of actual salsa? Almost certainly. Fries with enough salt to make the Dead Sea seem potable by comparison? Check. As I left with the remnants of my meal [sic], a homeless man asked me if I was going to eat the rest of it because he wanted to give it to his dog, so I gave him $ 5 instead because I didn’t want to be guilty of animal cruelty.

Bobby’s Place is owned & operated by the same owners as Rick’s Burgers. Rick’s Burgers used to be on the corner of Walnut St. & El Molino Avenue. It was an old school burger joint that many locals used to go to for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the Spuderito. It’s a burrito with french fries and this red sauce they have inside. Amazing, simple and extremely tasty! In regards to the old location, apparently Greystar took over the entire corner and they are in the process of developing a mixed used building on that corner. I’m really sad to see the old place demolished however happy that their new place serves the same food, same owner & same staff. Kudos to you Bobby’s Place! I will definitely be back!
