Del Taco

Ordered at 5:07. Its 5:32 no food yet. And I’m on my lunch. I kid you not there are about seven people standing up waiting for their food. Super slow service. Now I have to eat on the way back to work or not eat at all until a second break. Horrible horrible. Hire more people.

OMGOODNESS!!! Im sorry but this was the worst place ive EVER eaten in Pasadena i wont recomend anybody to eat here we ordered 6 tacos (69 cents) i waited at least 40 minutes for my tacos i only live like 4 minutes away and when i got home opened up my tacos they fell apart thats how SOGGY. They were & the meat was half cold the cheese wasnt melted i used to eat here years ago & it was a good place to eat NOT ANYMORE

Really slow service. There is no urgency. The place looks dirty and unorganized. Lost my appetite after seeing how dirty it looks.

WORST Del taco I have ever been too! Do not go there and eat! I went in to order food and saw cockroaches on the wall in the kitchen! I mentioned it to the manager and she said ok we’ll clean it and never did any thing about it… I have called and made a complain to corporate! Please someone report this!

You guys need to hire more competent workers. Everytime I go my order is messed up. Literally everytime. And the cooks are yelling at the cashiers. It’s a hot mess

Well, today was a new one. I ordered mu usual large strawberry lemonade, and when I returned to the office I could not get anything through the straw. I thought maybe a strawberry was blocking but when I took of the lid I found a plastic bag inside the cup?! how does someone not notice that! luckily I saw which team member made my lemonade, I will be talking to a manager.

TOYA, DAYSI, TIMMY, LIZ And all the staff at Del taco PASADENA CA. UNION ST. ITS NOT EASY BUT they are very hard workers the cooks are working hard to keep food correct to the customer order HOT & FRESH. I Would’ve killed myself if I had to deal with 20+ customers all at the same time and diffrent hours with only 3 cashiers taking with drive thru orders. And they finish with customers under 15min or less. They can’t always get it perfect all the time. But they damn sure try and that’s alright with me! We need more people like this in the food world. And special thanks to TIMMY for caring about the people that didn’t have enough change for there order. He made it happen thru the act of kindness. (out of his pocket) BEST TEAM I SEEN… THANK YOU ALL!

Every once in a while I eat fast food, usually for breakfast when I do.
How bad can they screw that up, and how much can you adulterate an egg?
Well eating at Dell taco for breakfast was a new low. Yuck!
Their Asada steak breakfast Burrito was hodgepodge of bad flavor and sauce!
A Truly disgusting combination The tasted like cheap Offbrand bottled picante sauce you get from a discount store.
What’s worse is, it’s featured prominently at the top of their breakfast menu as one of the best things on the menu!
If this is the best representation of what they have to offer on their menu, I want to stay far far away!

Worst worst WORST WAIT. You’re literally stuck waiting for at least 30 mins on a Fri night. I get it, there a lot of ppl with the munchies, but why be so under staffed? The young man taking orders was literally balancing so many things at once and yet he remained super polite. Management needs to have more staff handling the long lines. 08/​15/​2015 Around 1:30ish AM. BTW the young man was the most polite worker I’ve came across a drive-​thru — which took me by surprise.

Holy shit I was trapped for 45 minutes in their drive through tonight!!! No way to escape. You.are.stuck. no apologies. Nothing. No, «hey, sorry about the wait.» dude just acted like its a common occurrence. No biggie. What a fucking joke.

No, bro. It’s Del Taco. Meaning it’s awesome when you’re drunk and roughly terrible otherwise. This one is especially meh for a couple reasons. If your car is giant, which mine is, that last drive-​thru turn is annoying. Also, there are always bums hanging out in and around here. Always. But when you’ve had a few beers and are feeling like a king? Let’s get that bumper scraped and deny some bums their quarters!*
* For the record, I’m like a professional drift king so I don’t actually scrape bumpers. But I do deny bums their quarters. I also do not condone drinking and driving, so I only come here once I’m sobering up. Which is often a few hours later than I should be eating Del Taco but whatever. Actually, it’s probably best not to eat Del Taco at any time but, again, whatever.

The employees are not in the mood of helping anyone today. They were bother with my precence here. They forgot were their paycheck comes from. Bo musuc. All tables dirthy. No thank yous. I stopped here just because this place is in my way to work. But they really suck. And their food is whatever.

What was up today with the drive thru service at 1:55 PM?

Well, it did today.
I waited like over 10 minutes just to be able to speak to someone about my order.
Initially, I ordered a regular taco and a mini quesadilla and the drive thru person asked me to hold on longer. What else option could I have, so I had to wait like 5 more minutes.
Finally, I repeated myself, then saw the Chicken Avocado Salad, asking the price. She didn’t get me, so I told her I would pull to the window, but she kept rambling on.
WEIRD!!!
Upon pulling up, I asked if the salad was good and how the portion was.
She gave no visual as to the size of the salad, but just a condescending weird look.
I told her to just cancel the original order and I would get the salad (something I tried to explain in the microphone, but she didn’t understand).
I waited another 5 min and told her I wanted ice water too.
When she brought my salad, she forgot the water, so I had to repeat myself.
I would normally give 5 stars, this SALAD WAS AWESOME.
But service??? That I would give a 1 star for.
Overall, it made my review the 2 stars.
Del Taco is great food for the price, but service today was just way below what I have ever experienced.

Drive thru is bad during lunch hours. Almost in line for 15 minutes! Got stuck in the drive thru line. Came to try their new fresca bowls. Had the southwest chicken and veggie bowl. Kind of similar to the el pollo bowl from el pollo loco with rice, beans, chicken, corn and roasted veggies. Only $ 4. Pretty good portion. Would order this again. Next time I’ll stop in though.

Drive thru in 16 minutes, not too good. Ordered soft Turkey tacos got all hard tacos, 2 strikes. Ordered mini quesadilla, they must have forgot it too, 3 strikes. They are out. Oh well.

A horrible story from a fast food establishment in Pasadena that would make your skin crawl.
After we went through the drive through the person working the window was picking there nose and sneezing, wiping there nose on the sleve of there uniform shirt. I told this person we decided to go some where else as this person tossed the food we ordered out the window onto my car.
Would never eat there again!

I have never been to a Del Taco before last night’s drunken search for a McDonalds turned out empty. We chanced upon this right when we were about to give up on fast food!
For my first time I got two tacos, one soft and one hard. My boyfriend got a burger and my girlfriend got a burrito and we split two large fries. Everything was pretty good for fast food!
The service was fast and the drive thru line went really quickly (it was 2 AM on a thursday).
I’d go again! Maybe even sober!

I done learned my lesson.

Came here yesterday which was a Tuesday. Ordered my 24 hard shell taco, 1 carnita fries, 2 for $ 3.00 fish taco. Which all came out to around $ 17.00.
There was only one person ahead of me in the drive thru and when I left it was around the restaurant. lol I sure did make lots of people wait. We’ll I did have 24 tacos and it is Tuesday which was 3 for ?? I so forgot. But they have that deal Tuesday and Thursday. The service was fast and super friendly. They even came to the window and said hello after I paid. Which she was just coming to the window to say hello. Nice of that young lady. I got all my food except the tacos which came in 4 bags of 6. The only problem with Del taco Tuesday deal is that they always put like a tablespoon of meat, lots of lettuce, and a teaspoon of cheese. Gosh well I guess it’s what you pay for but still. And this is at all Del Taco not just this one.
Carnita fries was good. Comes with cheese onions and cilantro. The fish taco was a little spicy or just a little kick. I’m not a fan. The tacos well read what I said above. LOL.

I normally do’t eat fast food, but I only come for their promotion. Crinkle Cut French Fry and Beer Battered Fish Tacos. I was not expect high in this place. But what it really grave me is their Del Scorcho Hot Sauce, which is probably the best hot sauce from a fast food chain.

This place doesn’t get pack, parking is pretty easy to find even in Lunch Time in the weekday. There is a drive thru. One of the cashier i seen been work here many years, friendly person and hard worker.
Food is what it let me down ! The so called Beer Battered Fish Taco was not good, i can hardly taste the sauce or the fish, so has to put the hot sauce just to had some flavor. Definite the worst fish taco I eat, the fried fish was not crispy at all.
Fries was actually pretty decent, is a bit too soft, but is seasoning. The cut is not a factor cause the fries is too soft and not crisp. El Pollo Loco fish taco is better than this one.
Tips:
Restroom located outside need a coin from the staff.
To be honest, i do not know why I even bother to dine here, but this is something not coming back unless I heard major change or new. 2 instead of 1 stars, the fries and the hot sauce kinda pump up the rating.
