Service was incredibly slow at the drive-thru. I was charged for someone else’s order as well as my own. Of course I didn’t know because I only got a receipt for my payment. Avoid this place at all costs. Seriously.

This place is seriously overpriced for what you get, the service is slow, and the drive thru worker has trouble understanding your order. No wonder so few customers come here. I don’t know how they stay in business. That said, once I had to wait about 15 minutes for my inside order and the worker gave me a free cookie to make up for it, which was nice. The fish sandwich is pretty good. The Mexican stuff is terrible. Del Taco and Taco Bell are much better. All in all, go to Burger King or McDonald’s instead.

I have been in the drive through line for 19 minutes and there has only been 1 car ahead of me. Only one! These guys are always so slow! Maybe the least organized fast food drive through of all time. Never coming back here. Never.

First of all I’m writting on behalf of all the employees that work at a carls jr restaurant. I don’t see the point in this and how you people have nothing else to do and write reviews. u guys complaint on how rude we might be sometimes towards you, you really think it’s because we bring our problems from home? Well your wrong we work at a fast food place. We have a drive thru for customers that want there ordered fast and have to get to work. Y do u people have to order 50 dollars worth in drive thru don’t you know there’s other people waiting in line for there food. if your not ready to order or still have to make a phone call y would u drive up to the speaker. The burgers are made fresh and it does take a while for the meat to hit the other end of the charbroiled while other orders might be done we have to wait for the big order to be done are your one of those customers that r waiting behind that car and there food might not be as fresh as it was 3 min ago y cuz of the person in front of you so don’t start saying that is the employees and that we’re to slow maybe is you. do u think its easy having to deal with people that r not in a good mood and decide to give attitude while ordering? Y would we have to take that from anyone. We’re all humans and we’re at work and don’t wanna get introuble or fired just because one of you come with your attitude and we decide to speak up for ourselves. and for those of you who say we reheat or food. We don’t ! So stop making shit up if you don’t work with us. I think that’s disgusting and can make anyone sick. And for those who complain about the salsa from the green burrito. We make that salsa fresh every single morning so how the fuck wouldn’t it be fresh. Also our restroom can be clean if we didn’t have dirty ass men walking In there and pissin all over the dam toilet don’t u think about the employees that r gonna have to clean after you. drive thru is one of the worst we have people changing there mind at the window adding things to there order decide they not want mayo or ketchup in one of there sandwiches when we already have it made. We have people complaining over the dumbest things ever. We do make mistakes and I’m not saying we’re perfect but everyone is just trying to do there job. And for those of you who know how hard we work and have had good customer service and hot fresh food we thank you and love seeing you again. and for that one person that finds this so offensive don’t waste your time on going to the company they can’t do anything about it since I no longer work there.

I would give this Carl’s four stars were it not for it’s strange situation with sunshine. It gets hot in Los Angeles in the summer, and if your restaurant can pull it off it’s critical to not have that brutal late afternoon sun BURN into the restaurant with its merciless glare. It’s just not pleasant to be in there during the dinner hours. Other than that, I believe Carl’s Jr. doesn’t get the love it deserves. In this town everyone is Lady Gaga about In And Out. «Oooh it’s so FRESH! They make everything on premises!!! And there’s a secret menu that I’m so cool to know about!!!» Yawn. If the In And Out Fanbase would grow up for a minute, they’d realize that INANDOUT serves almost nothing. That the non-secret menu is burgers, but no chicken, turkey, fish, or anything else. That means I can review the entire experience on their burgers, and guueeesss what? Meh. That’s right. MEH. Sure they’re crispy and fresh, but the burgers at I&O are thinner than the paper on their red trays. I’m old enough to remember two old ladies in the back seat asking, «Where’s the beef?!?» This applies to I&O in spades. And so if the only item on their menu is MEH… they’ve got a serious problem. I know this will shock a lot of people — but time and time again I find myself craving Carl’s Super Star burger. That’s two patties, two slices of cheese, roll, and veggies. Nothing fancy. But that awesome YUM thing hits you, and just like the ads suggest, you can’t wait to finish it. And although the burger isn’t overflowing with beef, there’s more than enough. Halfway through you must slow down and pace yourself, which is a good sign of a satisfying burger. But at Carl’s, you don’t have to have a burger. The menu is extensive and delights in curve balls. Chorizo with breakfast, or example. Or a Guacamole Bacon Thickburger. I haven’t even tried that yet… but that’s the beauty of Carl’s. You have choice. Not to mention the entire ‘Green Burrito’ menu at this location, which is like having a Taco Bell on premises… which sounds like an insult(because it is) but Carl’s Mex is actually way better food. The problem here in LA is why buy this ‘fake’ Mexican food when you could throw a french fry from Carl’s and hit a real Mexican place.) Finally they’ve brought a big fried Chicken sandwich back. They were experimenting with giving you to breaded pieces in a side by side situation that made the sandwich fall right apart. Very stupid. The new sandwich fixed that. I used to avoid this specific location due to lousy service. The soda machine was always serving watered down soda. The place didn’t seem so clean. About two years ago this was fixed by a new manager or two and all is good again. I hope the people in the head office think real hard about why they’re allowing I&O to steal so much thunder. This chain is perfectly positioned to upgrade their food another notch and be a definite threat to Mc, BK, Panera, I&O, and Chipotle. They’re already way better than the first two and they could after the last three and be an impressive second place option.

2014 Unilocal365CHALLENGE — 118⁄365 I think Carl’s Jr. is a higher tier fast food joint. Everything tastes a LOT fresher and the drive-thru is pretty fast at this location. I wish they had a better value menu, but you get what you pay for. Not too expensive, but better quality than most fast food!

Going in to this place on a lunch break was a horrible idea. not knowing the quality of the food here I went ahead an ordered the new«freashly baked«philly. Sadly the bun on my burger was soft and sogy as if the burger sat for some time and was reheated. After along day of work I got to go home with a bad stomach pain and eventually throw up all the steak an cheese. Thank you very much, I hope your store gets closed down. Oh and the restroom here for men looks like a back alley in LA with a toilet covered in piss and no privacy. clean that sh** up.

The food here was a bit below average. My son had The Six Dollar Burger and the meat was a bit dry but still tasty. The Frys were good. The taquitos were good but nothing special… I didn’t feel like eating a burger. The Mexican food selection is very limited. Their salsa and pico del gallo was bad! Next time I’ll go to Del Taco where the food is tastier and better selection. The fountain drink selection was great but not enough to make it a three star.

This is the worst CJ I have ever been too. I was really hungry on my way home and had been reminiscing with my sister a few days before about a sandwich I used to get from here. The woman over the loud speaker could not understand me at all. I had to repeat my order 3 different times and even then she got it wrong and I had to repeat the whole thing over again. I pull up and pay — that was the smoothest part! Then they give me the sandwich and fries… no drink. While I’m waiting I’m looking at my phone and the guy fills up my drink and says to me ‘don’t text and drive.’ WTF??? I thought all around they were rude, obnoxious and idiotic.

Another chain fast food restaurant. I will say its not my fav, but okay in a pinch. They also have nice options if you go to one with a green burrito. Service at this location is not the best. When you go through drive threw you have to repeat yourself multiple times so the attendant gets the order correct. Yes Carl’s Jr. has a flame broiler, which you would think makes the burgers taste better. That might be somewhat true, but when you get your burger or sandwich it seems like someone just placed the ingredients with no care for presentation. The burgers not in a box are frequently crushed. The fries are typically not hot or fresh, so have been sitting for a while. I will try to avoid this location if I can.

Dear drive-thru employee, Cut the attitude and leave your bitchiness and drama at home and please don’t project it onto your customers. I just want my food without all the ‘tude. Thanks! with love, your disgruntled drive-thru customer
