New to the area, We found this restaurant after a coupon at the door of our home and thought it would be cool to check out. After a long day of barely eating and my mother not eating at all because of religious reasons, me and my family chose to come to Cheeseburgers in Paradise. We got seated within 5 mins, very sweet people. After sitting looking at the menu for about 21 mins me and family began to be upset and asked for a near by waiter that we were in need of service. People who had arrived after us and had been rudely seated before us had there food already by this time. We still had never been asked for water. Now very upset ready to leave my mother stood up and went to the manager for help. Once the manager was involved lucky things improved. Now being here for 56mins, still haven’t been feed. The couple that walked in behind us has now left after being served several drinks and eating a full meal. «It’s like Salmon from I hop» salmon is little dry and mediocre, but overall grandly not bad. Thankfully the whole meal was free thanks you the manager finally stepping in. Getting here at 8:50 and leaving still a little upset at 10:26 to long would like to be in bed asleep.

Sitting here now. Ordered a beer tower at 5:40, still waiting on it, only to have the manager make excuses as to why we haven’t received it yet while others at our table are drinking the same draft beer. WILLNEVERRETURN

Wasn’t the most stellar evening. We had ordered our apps and our kids food. Who knew are kids would be done before our own food arrived? Manager told us that the kitchen staff was still new to the menu. I work in a kitchen… sounded like bs to me. Sounded like the people back there were new and had no idea how to work a KDS system. Probably not coming back here for awhile. 1.99 margaritas are only so good when both of your kids are cranky because they’re done and you’re not.

The service pretty much always sucks, but the drinks are great. I’d say the food is just your average burgers and what not. However, the loaded chips are super tasty. The cheeseburger in paradise cocktail is great!

We ate here yesterday and really loved it. The food was made quick, the cheeseburger was delicious and our waitor was really nice. We both really enjoyed and will definitely be back when In the area.

First time visiting this place and I was looking forward to a nice burger. It took over 10 minutes to even be greeted by the waiter. Our appetizer and burgers came out back to back. The queso for the chips was cold, guac mediocre and the burgers/buns did not taste like they were made in house as they claim. On top of that, the fries(regular and sweet potato) were way overloaded with salt. It was as if a bunch of naïve kids were running the place. They all crowded around a table nearby(i counted at LEAST7 employees just goofing around) and spent time with their friends that were dining there, rather than tending to customers. Customer service was seriously lacking and the food was mediocre. We will NOT be coming back.

Nice spot with a lot to choose from! I love the bright ceiling and cheesie decorations, it’s a lot of fun here! The restaurant is upbeat and groovy. The menu is pretty big but offers burgers and seafood. I have the fish and fries with broccoli. The fries were great as well as the fish. The tarter was a little strange but worked with the fish. The broccoli had a great season on it. The server was funny and friendly. I liked this place, check it out, the burgers looked great!

‘Meh’ is the only thing that comes to mind when I think of Cheeseburger in Paradise so when the hubs suggested take out last night, I wasn’t excited about it. Regardless, I gave in. All things considered, the food is normally pretty tasty… you just never know if 1. you are going to get it the way you ordered it or 2. if it will be even remotely warm. When I phoned in the order, it was not at all complicated. Wings. Coconut Seaside shrimp. Burger. The female on the phone seemed to have it covered. She didn’t at all seem enthusiastic or friendly, but never the mind. I don’t need someone to spin cartwheels for me when placing a takeout order. She read the order back to me to make sure she got it right, «wings. seaside shrimp. burger.» When she didn’t specify the coconut part of the seaside shrimp, I offered a reminder to which she responded as if I were quite possibly the stupidest person that has ever walked the planet. Cool lady, you do you. My suspicions though of this chick screwing up my super simple order have now gone from ‘it’s possible’ to ‘I’m sure of it’ as it is QUITE clear that she does not give one single f*ck. Food arrives home. Surprise, surprise — regular shrimp. Now who’s the stupidest person who ever walked the planet Takeout Phone Answerer at Cheeseburger in Paradise? No cocktail sauce, no ranch for the wings, rice so old and/or overcooked that it actually formed a large, hard rice ball that had to be broken apart. Disgusting. So at the end of the day, the best thing I can say about CiP is that the food CAN be good or it can be completely wrong and disgusting. It’s cheap. and the drinks are hard to mess up. My prediction though is that this place will likely soon go out of business, just like all of the other Cheeseburgers in Paradise and no one will really ever notice.

Never again! Walking in to Cheeseburger in Paradise should have been sign to walk out. The restaurant looked dark and depressing. We were seated next to the restrooms and I don’t know if that’s what we were smelling but it smelled like poop. Seriously! It was bad. I thought my one and in half year old daughter pooped that’s how bad the smell was. Now the smell was not consistent but I am asking myself, «Why the heck didn’t we leave?» Our server came up to our table and smelled like smoke. I hate the smell of smoke. We order Frickles as an appetizer, two regular Cheeseburgers, and a kids slider. The frickles were hot and tasted pretty good. Not the best fried pickles but not the worst. I was surprised by the portion size. The burgers sucked. No flavor, cold, and sloppy presentation. The French fries were awful. Thinly sliced shoe strings. They were cold and so thin it didn’t taste like potato. My daughter’s milk arrived in a Styrofoam cup that was half filled with milk. It looked tacky. Hopefully that’s not how they normally serve a kids drink. We asked our waitress for the bill and when she was handing us the check a cigarette(slightly burned) fell out of her pocket. Before leaving I used the restroom and ugh… what a disaster. We arrived for lunch so they had only been open for one hour. The bathroom looked so dirty. It looked like the cleaning staff quit. The worst part was that one of the toilets didn’t have a lid on top. Water pump and everything exposed. I hate to be rude but this place is a dump. Stay away.

So, I think I’m the toughest burger critic on the planet. I typically dislike most burgers at chain restaurants but love burgers so much that I eat them anyway, if that makes sense. I also strongly believe that I make a very good burger at home on the grill, so when I’m out and the craving for a good cheeseburger strikes, my expectations are extremely high. Some would say I’m difficult to please. My bro & I went out for burgers today with the intentions of going somewhere we’d never been and stumbled upon Cheeseburger in Paradise. The service was very good, our waiter, whose name escapes me was very professional, checked on us frequently enough to feel like he cared, but not so much that we felt like we were being bothered. He kept the drinks refilled w/o having to be asked, and was extremely pleasant. I tried fried pickles for the first time, they were good! Our second appetizer was the loaded potato chips, and while they were nothing to write home to Mom about, they weren’t bad either, and they were fresh. We both decided to try the«Cheeseburger in Paradise» which was topped with slow cooked pulled pork, sharp cheddar, fried onion strings, fried pickles(or frickles as they call them) & a sweet horseradish sauce. Surprisingly, it was pretty good, and all of the ingredients paired well. I was shocked at how good it was. Good, prompt service, good burgers… I will be bringing my wife with me the next time I come. If she likes it, I’ll edit this and give you a 5th star.

Maybe 2 stars isn’t appropriate but the next time I go back I will re-evaluate my decision. This is not a place I recommend you take anyone to for the food. No dates, no impressive lunches, nothing of the sort. This is strictly a happy hour type place. They have reasonable priced drinks and you probably can deal with an appetizer or 2. I tried doing dinner here and it was a complete miss! I did have a decent sangria pitcher if they still do those. But this is truly a drink, chill and participate in the weekly fun. Pass on the food if you can.

Came here on a whim, and very glad I did! The burgers and fries are really good, and they have cheap margaritas Mon-Thurs. Not sure if they are good, but will definitely be finding out this coming Monday. The Island theme is kind of cheesy, but you can’t say it isn’t unique.

Debated on going to Abbeys Burger or Two Rivers but with a party of 9, decided on Cheeseburger in Paradise. Have been coming here many times and have never had an issue until tonight. I treated 8 other people to dinner and so many of them were dissatisfied(including myself). Ordered 2 orders of «Kickin Chicken Nachos» which came out cold. One person ordered«Mango» wings which weren’t even prepared. I’ve been talking about how great their«Hell Fire» wings were and they were had ZERO spice to them. I explained to our waitress that they had no spice and that I’ve had these at least 15 times in the past and her response was«it’s not as hot as some people think». Ummm, did I not tell her that I’ve been here several times before and know what they taste like ?!? Even the manger(only good thing about the visit), mentioned they didn’t look like Hell Fire wings. Another order Buffalo wings which tasted like plain chicken fingers. Milkshake tasted sour. Burgers were okay. Won’t be back! I now know why they aren’t busy on a Saturday night. If it weren’t a chain, I’d buy the place just to fire the cook and waitress with the poor attitude. I NEVER complain but paying over $ 160, I left feeling like I was robbed. Never again.

This is one of those hit and miss type of places. Sometimes the food is great and other times its just blah. I use to come Here just for their frozen sangria but the last 5 times I have been something is always wrong with the machine so i have given up. They do have other good drinks but when I have my mind set on a frozen sangria that’s all I want. They last few times my burgers have been delicious. But I don’t like the fries anymore. They are usually overcooked and they give you way to many. I have never finished them. I have never tried any of their desserts because usually I’m 2 full.

I wanted to come back and have a good time here, write a rave review, and come back again and again. Unfortunately that is not the case. I came here on a Wednesday night at 630, so prime dinner time. I was concerned when it was more crowded at this time than on a Saturday, when I originally came. My friend and I ordered margaritas and burgers and the burgers and fries took a little under 30 minutes to come out– unacceptable. Our waitress was awful– she did not check on us while we ate and took forever to come back after we were finished. It appeared her section in the restaurant was large and she just chose to neglect our table and focus on others. We wanted to order a second round of drinks and i had to physically catch her from running around to get the order placed. The drinks came out fine but did not come with the cute fruit additions. Disappointed. I really hate that I won’t come back here until they get better service, because i love this style of restaurant, but the service was just so slow and awful that I cannot return.

Slow service, smells bad, and they are not serving burgers in paradise either. I will give it another try and hoping it was just an off day. Thank you to the management for reaching out to me.

This is really a great joint! Besides the whole island theme which is unique for a burger place, the location has ample booth and tables. We’ve only been at evenings before today and the noise level can be high. However, lunch is drastically a smaller crowd and is when you want to go if conversations are to be meaningful. We had the Frickles — fried pickles. These grow on you quickly be at first glance and first few bites — they are not Southern fried pickles. These are sweet dill, are flat, and have a corn meal coating. The burgers are amazing! Mushroom Swiss is delish! Consider swapping out the fries for onion straws! Plus, get some Hellfire sauce on the side for a burger topping or dip. It’s the hottest wing sauce they offer but it’s mild to a guy who enjoys ghost and scorpion pepper sauces! Make the time to check them out! You won’t regret it!

I really like the ambiance of this place. They have frozen drinks that are good but not really strong. Actually not strong at all. Minimun alcohol maybe an oz of liquor in the drink period. Kids are free on tuesdays! And they have tiki punch for kids which is really good… it’s like a mixture of all their juices. Their food is just ok if you order something like fish. This place is family friendly and the wings and loaded fries are really good!

I don’t love Cheeseburger, but I don’t hate it, either. I’ve never had a ‘bad’ experience per se, so I can’t be too hard on the place. There is always available seating and my service is always great. The food leaves something to be desired. I tend to get something different each time I go, but pretty much because I don’t like anything I get. The appetizers are all extremely salty, and the wings are tough, over-breaded and difficult to eat. The burgers are ok, I’ve gotten ones that were fine and ones that were overcooked and crispy. The drinks from the bar are pretty good, and they have great bartenders. I really recommend this place for watching football games; for whatever reason, people don’t realize how awesome this place is for that. Any given football Sunday there are plenty of places to sit, and they’ll even change the channel to your game if it won’t disturb someone else. I’d choose Cheeseburger over somewhere like Greene Turtle for sports-watching any day of the week for that reason.
