Denny’s

I just pulled a 5 inch strand of hair out of my skillet. I was so horrified. I will never ever come back here. The food and the service were a C+ without the hair, but with the hair they get an F. Just awful.

Waited forever to get a togo pancake!!!

Server not ready. Only two other tables in restaurant. Waited too long for service, brought us our check before we finished eating. Which I think is rude and rushing.

Poor… Poor … Poor… Minus 5 stars! Worst service ever… They completely ignored me. The place was not busy. There were only 10 people eating already. And I was never offered even a glass of water!!! Unacceptable… After 10 min sitting there I had to leave the place to eat somewhere else.

I really believe that ou shouldn’t have to go to an expensive restaurrant to get good service. This place sure proved it. When I walked in and Theresa greated me. She must have guessed I had a phone or something to plug in because she directed me to a booth that had power under the seat. I was up here in Pasadena for the sCaLE convention I I was able plug in my phone, thanks to her. It was all awesome after that. She anticipated m every need, from coffee to recommendations for breakfast. Not only that she never stopped working and served everyone in the restaurant the same. By herself! Sure made my day. I wish I could find an employee like her! Thank you Denny’s for a great meal and a helpful addition to my trip. Awesome.

This Denny’s is close to the freeway and train stop in Pasadena. It’s great and has affordable prices. The lines are usually pretty long on weekends but the wait isn’t too bad. I recommend getting one of their specials as they’re good price and good taste. Also, you get a free breakfast on your birthday!

Nice remodel, but it’s freezing cold in here! Why do you insist on freezing the patrons and your staff. I hope they appreciate my tip because I’m not making the mistake of my past i.e. eating at denny’s. IHOP and the myriad fast food joints are all open too so why eat dog food in a cold atmosphere? Pro tip: Wokanos, a sushi joint, is open late too (Colorado and Fair Oaks), so is Del Taco, which is also a step up ;) Don’t freeze my friends, eat elsewhere!

Everytime i go they treat me with the best of smiles. It is a place where i feel comfortable and I will never stop attending. Take friends and family.

Denny’s does a service to our Veterans on Nov 11^th. I totally respect Denny’s for giving them all a breakfast on Veterans day. I will patronize a Great Restaurant like Denny’s for decades to come.

I came today to dennys today &. I got good taken care of tonight here at dennys thanks to Theresa T, I feel like she really gave me attention and got everything out on perfect timing for refills and appetizers and after our entrée’s. She gave Great service !

If your busy and not wanting to take «to go orders» at least have the decency to pick up and tell your customers. We called and called you Saturday morning and absolutely no one answered.
That’s just terrible service!!!

I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was crowded! Luckily Savannah was there to our rescue. She was very polite and got us a table fairly fast. May was our waiter and she was very fast and and i enjoyed my experience there. Probably one of the best Dennys I’ve been to a while. Thanks Savannah!!!

Customer service is by far the worse in this location. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone. It’s not even busy, but my family and I have to wait 10 mins. for the server to take our order, on top of that the guy seating across from us came after and got his order before us. So disappointed

I’m really sorry to give this place only two stars but it’s because of this rude stuff at night. I’m coming here almost every week. This place got really delicious food. But however we came here today and weren’t seated for couple min and there were a lot of tables but the waitress was busy… we were told to take a seat anywhere we like. So we were waiting for a menu for a couple more min before I came to her again and asked if we can just take it or not. She said that a girl will come soon. We were waiting again and afterwards the girl with no «hi» just threw the menus on our table and left. Anyway at daytime the stuff is amazing… well…at least they talk to you.

I went with two other friends on Saturday morning around 3am, the food was great. I like Denny’s, but the service sucked. They had full staff in the restaurant but my coffee cup was empty for more than 20 minutes while waiting for the food. I only saw my waitress when she took the order for our drinks, and when she took the food to our table, we got the check from a different waiter after raising our hands for a few minutes.
There were other diners just looking at each other, wondering where is the staff were. We sat by the kitchen so I was able to see, and hear the ladies talking to each other, laughing at something. I don’t know what they were talking about but we one of us had no food, we only had one napkin the entire time were there, and the only way to get their attention was by raising our hands. I’m a resident of Pasadena, I can try to go again I usually do if the food is good. The workers need some training, more work and less talking, NOVELA TALK IS FROM 7PM-​10PM, at your own home, not during work hours.

Man this place was garbage from the waiters. No knowledge of their profession. Terrible night. I just wanted to leave because I was already to frustrated staying with them to figure it out.

24 hours comfort food. where else can you get steak early in the morning, but my favorite is the gender slam to pick up my day. Service is quick, which is a plus. The good thing about this place is pretty close by to where I live so if I got a craving of something hearty and don’t want the hassle of shopping and cooking, this is the place to go. Of course my waistline is going to suffer but comfort is number one. The food arrived pretty quick and coffee is great, and bottomless.

Wednesday night. Plenty of open tables. No one else in line to be seated. 6 people including the manager just ignored us. Looked at us several times, yet went about their business.
If I wanted a snotty attitude, I could have gone to Twohey’s or any number of places. Mediocre food + Crap service = lost customers

Erick our waiter was very attentive and personable! He was spot on! Our drinks, and food came right away. Try the grilled salmon over spaghetti.

Was craving breakfast for dinner… best place to go to was Denny’s. This location is not bad — usually in shady areas but this one is not too bad.
I ordered a built your own grand slam with whole wheat pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and a hearty breakfast sausage. My boyfriend ordered a meat lover omelette with hashbrown and sourdough toast. Everything was pretty hot and tasty… definitely satisfied my craving for breakfast. The only complaint is that I really wanted grits but they only serve it up to 2pm or something like that. But I think four item grand slam for 7 bucks is a pretty good deal too.
The service wasn’t too bad either — our waitress was pretty friendly and quick.
