Totally dislike their griller. He is a total douche. Things are overpriced. Even the manager knows this and sugarcoats his attitude. Not coming back here again. takes too long to get your food. A but disorganized as well in terms of staff.

Don’t ever buy food from here. It is way to damn over priced. 5 dollar debit card purchase? Wtf not even 7 – 11 does that. I can just buy 1 item that costs only 99 cents and use my debit card straight up without having it to make 5 dollars. Cashier is an a**h***. Other than that just don’t come here. Come at your own risk.

I used to have a culinary class behind this cafeteria and we used to share the kitchen with the staff. DO. NOT. EAT. HERE. The staff may be wearing gloves but what’s the point if they aren’t washing their hands between performing different task in the kitchen? Seriously, if the health department came they would be shut down for so many violations and sanitary regulations.

They’re overpriced and the cashier is rude. I wish they have better prices. They also need to have the bigger cheaper season fries.

Ok, so probably not going to come here anymore! I just went in to get lunch. And as usual, I was getting their«Asian» type food. I’m not sure if this girl was new or whatever but she was giving me ridiculously scrawny portions. The amount did not even cover the plate. I asked if she could put more. She said«we really can’t put more. We have a standard amount.» I explained to her that I have been getting my lunch here for a good amount of years and that any other person that has served me has always given me a good amount on the plate. And I can split it into two meals. The cost if the plate was $ 6 plus tax and what she was giving me was not worth that price. She went to the back to get her manager. And even her manager said to put more. Quite honestly, since noticing the price hikes, I have been apprehensive about coming back to this place but now I know for sure I won’t. Aside from being stingy, the whole altercation made me feel like a giant cow when I was just trying to get my money’s worth. No more! :shakes head:

I have had both breakfast and lunch here. The pastries usually are not fresh. The croissant instead of being light and fluffy is stale and chewy. You pay 2.50 and get something that is stale, blahhh The oatmeal is very bland. The bacon was good and so are the smoothies, they have a great blueberry smoothie and the price isn’t outrageous like a lot of stuff there. I have had the panini’s they are alright. The grill is where I go, they have a good veggie burger and a good BLT. The combo’s aren’t cheap, 6.75 or 7.00. The pasta is not that appetizing, I wasn’t impressed, same with the chinese food. The drinks are overpriced too. The service is okay. Show up before the time it says the station closes or they maybe out of food or already closed up.(They often close 15 minutes earlier than what they say though that changed with the grill because I complained so they changed the closing time). The Piazza is okay, it isn’t anything spectacular, I will still go there to get smoothies and veggie burgers but I wouldn’t eat there everyday. Accepts credit cards but you have to buy something over 5.00. I end up spending 7 to 8 for lunch. A bit expensive for college.

This is a decent place for being inside the college. Don’t compare it to UCLA because this is still a community college, not a university. They have a decent set of variety to choose from. You can have boba, Italian food, Chinese food, made to order sandwiches and made to order burgers. The Chinese food is not that great. It is very dry and not cooked well, or in this case, over cooked. The Italian grill look ok but seems very dry and needing more cooking. The sandwich shop is very good. They make you sandwiches made to your custom needs and are decently priced. My favorite place to go is the grill, where you can have custom burgers and seasoned fries made to order. They take about 15 minutes to make your burger and fries, but I wait because they are very well made. The cook always makes the burgers very well cooked, and in the morning, the Pancakes and sausages are very good, up to any restaurant quality. The grill is great and I recommend it. For other things, like soda, chips, and junk food, this is too expensive. They over price the items just because they can since the store is inside the school. Buy your own chips somewhere else. The staff is very friendly and nice and the place is always clean. Ive never had a problem with dirtiness here.

Finally some WARM food and a big space to eat! This was much needed. Still needs improvement though, shit is crazy overpriced. Trippin’ if you think a customize made sandwich is worth $ 7! I personally would rather go off campus for food. Stop being lazy and walk to the 99 cents only store next door.

I had pizza today and it was really good! The place is well kept and workers are really nice here. I had their boba and panini(sp?). Both were great . This is a school eatery so you cant expect some amazing restaurant cuisine or what not — but compared to other what I had at UCI cafeteria, this place is great! oh and many of NY friends have told me that the bobs drinks here are better than most boba cafes around! I do love their blended green tea frappé thingy I ordered.

This is such a sad eatery for a college campus… it almost makes me want to cry. Let’s see, it’s my second day on campus and am totallllly missing my food from UCLA. So far, I’ve tried their coffee. It’s not exactly the cheapest coffee out there but at least it’s cheaper than Starbucks. Yesterday for lunch, I also got the turkey and cheese pita sandwich(priced decently) which was pretty good. For dinner I got a Chinese Chicken Sandwhich which was okay… but I would only eat it again if i was in need desperately for fiber. Today, I started off with the same coffee routine, but for lunch I got their Italian combo which was lasagna with salad and garlic bread stick. WOW. That lasagna was super dry. It was one of those frozen lasagna that you can buy at Costco… but even if I were to make it it would come out better. The food wasn’t even kept in a steamer, but a tin foil tray so it was cold and dry. BLEH. The salad was okay, but they piled it on with ranch dressing :(And the bread stick. my GOSH! The roof of my mouth is still trying to recover from the flavorless dry plank of carbs that I was given. All that for ~$ 7. RIPPPPPOFFFFFFF. There is still the Chinese selection and the grill that I have yet to try. Chinese doesn’t look too promising… for sure worse than Panda Express right across the street. The grill though looks good considering they actually make it for you on the spot. They also have a fried popcorn chicken and french fries you can grab and go. It looks good, but I have mainly 2 issues with it 1) It costs ~$ 6.50 and 2) it’s WRAPPEDINSARANWRAPIN A STYROFOAMTRAYSITTINGUNDERTHEHEATTRYINGTOKEEPITWARM!!! uh… HELLO!!! Isn’t that just WAITING for cancer to happen with MELTINGPLASTIC!!! YIKES! For the sake of being on campus, it’s 2 stars. They also keep the place pretty clean. But…I’m starting to think about bringing lunch from now on…
