Love the food and the service. Food is always served hot and waitresses are very attentive. Flour tortillas are hand made!!! You cannot leave this place without having a margarita. This place is a must!

Great Happy Hour 11am-7pm! For an appetizer and four margaritas my guy and I totaled $ 21. We tipped our waitress of course but the subtotal wasn’t bad at all!

If I could give this«restaurant» zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. The a/c was broken and it was sweltering, the wait staff gave no fucks whatsoever, there was dried salsa on our stale chips, drips of a mysterious white substance INSIDE my cousin’s rum and coke glass, and my strawberry daiquiri had no booze, even though I didn’t ask for it to be virgin. My boyfriend and I ordered the same thing, Maritza’s Special(taco, tamale and cheese enchilada) and the kindest thing I can say about it is that it came on one plate, so there wasn’t extra crowding at our already crowded table. Seriously, it tasted like the atrocious«food» you get in one of those 98¢ La Charra meals in the frozen section at Walmart. Barf. To top it all off, they kindly included a tip on each bill, and threw in a couple of drinks no one ordered. You know, just to make the whole experience more special. «Happy» Mother’s Day :-/

Great service. Food has gone down some. But the service is great. The margaritas are cheap. I will give it 4 stars just because of the great service. This is the one off of Bay Area.

The margaritas were weak, the food was bland, and the service was very slow. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The food and drinks are very cheap. I ordered a margarita for only $ 2.50! It was extremely strong so approach with caution… The food is alright but you get what you pay for. The interior is what you would expect from an aging bar. The staff was nice enough to us except my friend paid with cash and didn’t get a receipt… You make your own decision about that

This is a small restaurant on Fairmont in Pasadena. My coworkers like it because the food is good. I recently tried it for dinner with a few of them and I agree, the food was pretty good. I ordered a chicken burrito and really enjoyed it. I didn’t have any drinks but everyone kept ordering margaritas, so I am guessing they were good. Service was just OK, the waitress would get lost from time to time. There was very limited parking on a Friday at 5pm and that was pretty annoying. Overall an A-ok place to eat, nothing extraordinary about this place though.

Save your money and go somewhere else. I went with my coworkers for HH one day. The drinks are mediocre at best and the staff is very slow. I ordered a tortilla soup and it was HORRIBLE it contained no chicken and a ball of greasy cheese. My friend called it the nasty ball of cheese soup. Needless to say I didn’t eat it, I asked the waitress to comp it since I wouldn’t even let my dog eat it. She asked if I wanted another soup and I politely declined. I didn’t want another ball of cheese. She only comped half of it and I wasn’t in the mood to argue with her. I obviously won’t be back here!

We’re here quite a bit for lunch since it’s right down the road and the food is great. During lunch time you usually just seat yourself and someone will help you when they walk by. Chips and Salsa: Pretty good, but not the best that I’ve had. Nothing bad, they’re just average. $ 4.25 Small Queso: Creamy and delicious, with pickled jalapenos on the side. It’s perfect for two if you’re really craving queso, if not you’ll have a little left over. Large will easily satisfy 4. $ 7.45 Lunch Camillo: The beef taco was good for a beef taco. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh and firm. The cheese enchilada was thick and one of the better ones that I’ve had. The fajita and grilled onions that come with it are about a ½ order in size. They are tender enough to cut with a fork, delicious, and come with 3 tortillas. The rice is average, but the borracho beans are THEBEST that I’ve had. If you always get refried, you had better skip them to try these out. $ 7.45 Lunch Fajitas: Probably the best deal in Houston on fajitas. The typical size for 1. Again, tender enough to cut with a fork and delicious. They come with rice, beans, pico and guacamole on the side, and 3 tortillas. I recommend getting the combination so that you can mix the flavors up. $ 8 Enchiladas: My favorites are the Chicken Enchiladas Suizas and Enchiladas Verdes(comes with avocado slices on top). They’re stuffed to the brim and some of the best that I’ve had. $ 9.75 Beef Fajita Chile Rellano: This is the absolute best Chile Rellano that I’ve had, and this is what I grade every restaurant on if they have it on the menu. It was filled with fajita beef and the breading on it was perfect. It didn’t fall off the poblano and it wasn’t the least bit greasy. Top notch. $ 1.25 Margaritas: M-F from 11−7pm, these things are STRONG!!! Offered frozen or on the rocks and regular/strawberry(Strawberry is a bit more). Order 2 of these and you’ll be good to go. Try not to get a brain freeze. Service: Antonio is the best waiter here. He brings us fresh chips when only the small ones are left, and refills our drinks before they’re empty. The first time I came here with a friend we were asking about the margaritas and he took the time to tell us what they use, why they use it, and everything. Awesome guy. Hit it up for the best borracho beans ever, the best lunch deal on fajitas in Houston, and strong/delicious $ 1 margaritas. You’ll be happy you did.

rude service. after reading another review about how they take money, i went in and asked if chips came with the drink. she rudely said no. i asked how much the chips were. she ended up giving me the chips with the drinks. the atmosphere in here is so hokey. i just wanted to sit and eat some damn chips i felt unwelcome. the chips and dip were not good, in fact it was the worst ive eaten from a mexican restuarant, tex mex or not. the sauce tasted like it came from a can of low quality tomato sauce. it made me kind of sick. it seemed like there were a lot of old hokey westerner people in here? i just wanted to sit down and get something to eat and i did not feel welcome. they seem to act like theyre really great and the place looks pathetic inside. i would stay away from this place and los amigos btw. i live in the area and am always looking for some good mexican food

We eat here every Friday, and the items that we get on the menu are always real good, and consistent. I go specifically for the Margarita’s, where else can you get dollar Margarita’s and good food. We also frequent the Clear Lake Don Pico’s, which is also very good.

I went to check out this place because I had seen it quite a few times passing by. The service was great the severs were courteous and attentive. I did not try any drink because I went on a weekday for lunch. I ordered the taco special with I beef and two sheered chicken tacos. The chicken tacos were good I cannot complain but the beef taco was awful. It stated that it was beef fajita but it was really ground beef which is good too. There was either too many spices or the meat was old I only took one bite and I was done. Sorry but I do not think I will be going back anytime soon.
