First time at this location, won’t be the last. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes, the food was fresh and tasted delicious. The staff was really welcoming and the restaurant was very clean… I think that’s all the important stuff

This place is a joke. I pay a shit load of cash only to get a bowl that half empty. U really feel cheated to the point where u feel ripped off. Like seriously. How cheap u have to be. Rice is cheap food. And chicken … The amount of chicken they put in ur bowl. U can probably make 16 bowls with 1×3.99 chicken from Von’s . The meat is dry . This place is a joke. I remember the good old days where we had spikes on San Gabriel. Now that was a bowl with the spicy garbage on top and allot of food. The chicken tastes perfect. I don’t know why it closed down . Anyway. Stay away from this place. I confronted the staff on the highway robbery they r commiting on this libetards in CA. They reply . «It’s owner its owner. Not me. owner. He say like this. « I told them. Fuck u and fuck ur owner. Never coming here again. If I want something close to a good bowl. Well after spikes there isn’t anything close

I thought I would give this another shot. I usually order the angus beef rib. The first time I had it, one or 2 of the cuts taste like old meat. Today I told my husband to pick me up some food, and I must say. I will never ever go to a flame broiler again. The meat does taste old!

So I came here last night around 8:15pm «45 minutes before closing» and I found it so rude for the cashier to be sweeping while my self and other customers where still there eating. I work in a restaurant and our waitstaff are told that, in NO circumstances should they sweep the floor near people who are seated and eating, they have to wait until the section is clear. Also this location needs to work on their customer service I wasn’t even greeted when I stood there to place my order.

Good spot for a quick, healthy meal. Ive been to a handful of Flame Broilers and this is up there as having some of the best service and freshest veggies. I like the chicken and option of rices. The sauces are tasty and the place is nice and clean… huge plus– you know your food is made with care. The best alternative to fast food. It hits the spot, satisfying and easy on the wallet.

Dry, hard, & small pieces of old meat! I thought I would try this restaurant as they advertise a healthier alternative. I chose it based on the pictures on the menu. The food came quickly(it was cold), however the beef plate came with less than one cup of rice and a small amount of dried out hard beef, the food was ¾ full and did not come close to what the photo showed. They claim to offer a NEW sesame Chinese salad which is just chopped up lettuce with a few shredded carrots and sliced oranges, and the chicken was hard and dry. They offer a salad dressing(tiny) that taste like oil, no sesame, no citrus flavor! I do not recommend this restaurant, it is not healthy, it was a disappointment and not worth the cost for meager porportions.

Fast friendly service. No wait, no hassle. The parking is annoying only because it a shopping center, so there’s more than one store for the parking lot

Super fast service! I ordered a chicken veggie bowl and a drink and found a seat to dine in. By the time I filled my soda and got some magic sauce from the dispenser and returned to my seat, they were calling my number! Chicken was flavorful, service was quick, and I got exactly what I came in for. Will be back for more!

Not a bad alternative for lunch on the go for teriyaki bowls. I like to order the chicken bowl with veggies over white or brown rice. I dont see much advantage in getting the combination dishes over the bowls as the side salad that comes with the combo is rather forgetful. I’m fine with the chicken teri bowl with veggies. Just ask for extra teriyaki sauce on the side as their containers for them are rather small. Recently I got the works bowl which is half beef teriyaki and half chicken with veggies. I opted for brown rice this time and I liked it a lot. The chicken is tastier IMO than the beef but the half & half is a good thing to order. I’ve always taken my food to-go. Service at the register was always decent. No complaints. They always give plenty of napkins and enough chopsticks for your order.

The last two times I’ve been here the vegetables they served were rotten. After getting rotten veggies again today, I asked the staff had any fresh broccoli and carrots after showing them the black spots in the veggies they served. They said that’s how the veggies looks when they get them delivered. Gross. I appreciate that flame broiler is not an expensive restaurant, but low prices do not excuse restaurants from serving fresh food. See my picture to get a look at their rotten broccoli.

I go to flame broiler quite often. I haven’t been to this location in about a month and a half. The food looked and tasted the same, however, The portions were ridiculously small. The food wasn’t even filled to the top of the bowl whatsoever. Pretty skimpy :(

I read some of the reviews about this place but still went anyway because my dinner plans fell through. I ordered the Chicken and Beef Plate with onions and steamed white rice. I paid and my food was done in literally two minutes. I didn’t question it and packed some sauces to go. I should add that the guy working the register this last Sunday was pleasant and kind. As pleasant and kind that one can possibly be in our two minute interaction. When I got home and opened my plate I can see how dry and unappetizing the meat looked. I thought they would put some sauce on top, so I was glad that I packed some sauces that weren’t all that great. Both meats were full of nerves(gross) and some of portions of my serving were refrigerated cold. Which explains the super fast food order. I went to Waba Grill the previous week, so I have a reference point for comparison and this place needs to get its act together, unless it’s a franchise issue. I don’t think I’m going to return.

I have been eating flame broiler over 5 years at various locations. My usual is chicken and veggie bowl. Today, I went to the pasadena location a bit early 10:54 am and ordered the usual to go. The chicken tasted great but had quite a bit of cartilage and the parts of the rice contained very hard parts(meaning old rice). As long as their doors are opened for business, they should serve fresh food. I still love the flame broiler concept but won’t be visiting them unless it is at lunch rush or after.

I love coming here for lunch every weekend, but today I came and ordered a mini bowl and a regular half and half bowl for the first time(hence I always get a mini bowl) and it was literally less than half full. I didn’t have time to go back so I called to let them know. I spoke to David and he completely ignored my complaint and said to speak to the manager Monday to Friday. When I purchased my food I saw the manager there. They need to work on their customer service.

This place is clean and usually really fast. Menu are limited so easy ordering. Chicken or beef. LOL. About $ 10 bucks for the plate. And you earn point if u sign up for the card. Point can be redeem for food later. You can also use the card on the yogurt ice cream store next to chase bank and earn point too. Anything helps right.

Where are my portions, bro?! Even if you get extra meat, you get almost NOMEAT. Go to B-Man’s instead. You’ll pay like a buck or two more and get like twice the food. B-Man’s tastes better to boot. There’s a reason Flame Broiler never has a line ever. In fact, there’s usually never anybody inside period.

The food is good as it is at any Flame Broiler. With a menu this simple it’s hard to screw up. What this particular location does though, is make the place really unwelcoming in the evening. This place consistently begins closing the front of house at least an hour before the posted closing time. We often enjoy patio dining with our dogs, especially on nice summer evenings. We arrived just after 7pm to find the patio tables already stacked and chained. In addition, half of the interior tables have the chairs inverted atop them. Every time I dine here in the evening they look like they’re ready to close. It leaves me wanting to go someplace else, to a restaurant that is interested in making customers feel wanted. Minimum wage and the 2 employees I see makes starting to close at closing time cost a whopping $ 21. If their margin is that razor-thin maybe voting with my wallet will make a difference.

Whenever we need to eat a quick meal, we come to this location. The food is pretty consistent and it’s never that crowded. Afterwards we walk over to Buzio and have some frozen yogurt. One thing I HATE about this place is 3 out of 5 times that I was there, their workers were sweeping right next to us while we ate. Don’t they have some kind of health code here? Aka do not make your customers eat dust? I have also seen them put the chairs up for a few tables even though closing time is not for another few hours. My guess is they don’t feel like cleaning those tables again, but man, how lazy can you get?
