Robert did a great job on my highlights! He even gave me a free conditioner from matrix! He offered to fix the highlights of they come out a lil brassy too.

Omg… the best. Came from fresno to attend a wedding and found his services. Robert is the best. I have frizzy ratty hair and transformed it to a beautiful look. The experience shows. Anytime I come down here to so. Cal, I plan to rebook for his services.

I’ve trusted my hair to many hairstyist, but then found myself salon hoping over and over again. It all stopped here! I wouldn’t think about leaving Robbie! He always seems to satisfy my thirst for change. Whether it’s light hair with blonde highlights or changing teams and moving to the dark side for winter. Color? He’s a true specialist. Pricing? John has been my hairdresser for several years and he is EXCELLENT! Whenever I have requested different styles or colors or highlights he does it perfectly. I sometimes bring in a photo of what I want and he makes it happen! I have referred many people here, including my daughter who now will not let anyone else cut her hair! Thanks John!!!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now. Roberto is a great stylist who listens and is able to execute what I want. The cut also looks great through the 3 – 4 month grow out period. Cute salon with parking available!
If you need any more of an endorsement, I drove from Santa Monica to Pasadena (about 30 miles) for a haircut with this guy! Why? Because, he GETS IT.

Best salon ever got my Ombré done by Robbie he’s amazing ! and his assistant was so friendly she gives great shampoos they do both ethnic and Caucasian hair at the salon. Prices are very reasonable, I would recommend this salon to everyone.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years and have never been disappointed whether it’s a hair cut, blow dry or color. I recently wanted to do a colorful ombré and am beyond satisfied and happy with the results. He did exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectation. Roby uses the best products that give optimal results with vibrant long lasting colors. He truly is an expert and specialist at what he does. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Truly one of a kind service at this salon. All of the stylist are dedicated to pleasing the customer fully and ensuring that you leave with your expectations exceeded. The salon is a modern family owned company that accommodates all hair textures and types. As an African-​American, I’m very particular about who does my hair and I trust all off the beauticians at the salon because they really are educated on how to best style your hair. I highly recommend the salon to any and everyone and am proud to continue the legacy of my family that have gone to jean’s.

Went to get my cornrows re-​done and they were excellent again. I asked for wavy rows instead of straight and Lenice delivered 100 percent. Love this place!

I’ve been going to Robbie at Jean Robert Salon for over 5 years now. He is seriously AMAZING. I was referred to him by my cousin, and until this very day, I tell her how much I appreciate the introduction. My hair couldn’t be happier. I went to Robbie before my wedding because I KNEW he would make the color/​highlights exceptional, and of course, he did. I took a break from highlights after getting married in an attempt to save some cash (being a newlywed), but after a few at-​home highlight sessions, I quickly realized I needed Robbie, and his magic hands, badly!!! And another thing, Robbie is like the brother I never had– every time I see him, it’s like we never took a break. He’s so cool, down-​to-​earth, and friendly, and SO good at his job. I seriously cannot recommend him enough. He also has a salon in Beverly Hills, but I’ve always made appointments with him at his Pasadena location. If you want amazing hair that gets complimented literally every day, the go to this salon. Robbie will probably end up being your very best friend. lol
He also turned the outdoor area into a really cool looking lounge. He has a small covered patio area with couches where you can relax while you wait for your hair to finish up. I always feel so at home when I go to see Robbie. I really look forward to my appointments. He greets me with a super warm smile, and alwayssss gives me the BEST coffee! Get your hair done here, you won’t regret it. Just show him a picture of what you want, and you’ll get it. He’s also attending an academy now to learn how to style (updos), so I’m literally going to go to him for everything. Love this salon!!!

I’ve been taking my mom here for years. She heard about this place through a friend and now she won’t let anyone touch her hair but John. Great service, better results. John’s story is interesting. Just ask him when you come in how he got his start in the business of Hair Styling. On a side note, he has great cooking tips too

I really love this place. My stylist is Roberto who has worked in a ritzy salon in Beverly Hills for years. Needless to say, he is a master at his craft. I’ve never been disappointed in his cuts and styling. It’s very reasonably priced. Most importantly, everyone is very friendly and you won’t find a nicer guy than Roberto to style your hair. He is truly a fantastic person.
