Not a lot of places to sit up in this bitch. They do have some badass coffee though. I would like to do homework and stuff here, but it’s hard to find a seat. Let alone an outlet. Really cool place though. I wish they had food. I get hungry! Oh and the parking sucks! Park on the street. Do not even try to park in the small lot. You most likely won’t find an open spot. If you do, your car might get hit. It’s a really small lot. Lots of street parking though! Overall really cool place!

Needed a couple of coffees before meetings and stopped by here. Located in the industrial section of Raymond. Has a tiny parking lot, but was able to nab a spot. Step in and its got a cool vibe. Open, warehouse feel. Cool décor, funky & eclectic– neon sign, modern art, unique light fixtures. More seating than expected and different styles of seating(there are a few seats out front). The coffee? Very Good I had the White Chocolate Latte, while husband had the Latte. Both of us were Impressed. We wished we could have relaxed and had a seat, but we were on the go. Would definitely return and could see myself upping my rating.

I frequent here a lot because my office is down the street, but their almond milk lattes are addictive! I don’t drink dairy and they offer a variety of dairy alternatives. My coworkers love their coffee/cold brew as well. All staff are very friendly. If I order 2 lattes alone they let me know they’ll make one hotter if I’m getting it for someone else; very thoughtful. I’ve never tried their pastries because I usually don’t eat a lot of gluten so I’d love it if they served more healthy items like whole fruit.

Peaceful, friendly, local, eclectic, all come to mind when I stopped by Jones for a mid afternoon perk up. The coffee(Madison Brew) is perfectly roasted and balanced. I almost don’t want to spread the news of how wonderful this coffee house is. The prices are competitive $ 2.65 for a large coffee. I also like that all of the various milks and creamers are refrigerated. A nice local homey feeling. I will be back!

Most importantly, the coffee is smooth and delicious. The atmosphere is fun. Someone was playing the piano; that was nice. I had a hiking bar which was very good, a little pricey though.(Once I had quiche there which was awful. Hope they are no longer offering that one.) It’s a very cool place in Pasadena. Parking is dicey. Parked behind in the alley once. Not sure if that is still available.

Cool place for a cup of coffee located on Raymond Street. Looks like this place used to be a loading dock with a roll up door as an entry. Coffee here is solid and the service here is pretty good. Pastries come from Euro Pane not too far away. There’s ample seating, tables, and couches here to drink your cup of joe and chit chat away with some friends. The interior is lively with artwork and neon signs on the walls. Clumsy me dropped some coffee and they were nice enough to replace mine. Closes 5 pm on weekends and 6 pm on weekdays.

Where to begin, for me this is by far the best coffee shop in all of LA. But that’s just the thing it’s more than coffee, Jones offers up a community experience; their unique because they plant and roast their own beans. It seems like they always have something going on any day of the week. Never change Jones, never change

Ok, I think I just found my go-to coffee shop near work! For the last few weeks, I’ve been looking around and trying to explore other options in my work neighborhood aside from Starbucks(don’t get me wrong, I do love their teas). I made it to work pretty quickly this morning so I had some time to spare and Jones Coffee Roasters is only half a mile down the street from my office. Perfect! I pulled in and there was adequete parking(except people apparently don’t know how to reverse and exit without causing a backup). Pulled right in and thought to myself ‘why have I never been here before?!’. It’s a large, awesomely decorated place, open air doors and friendly staff. There were 2 people in front of me and both the baristas knew their names and orders. I want to be like them! I opted for a small vanilla almond milk latte. I always get a larger drink and it’s TOO much coffee for me, so this was perfect. Price was $ 3.80. $ 5 minimum for credit card charges, but I’m sure if I didn’t have cash I could have easily grabbed one of their delicious looking pastries. Luckily, I had cash and saved the calories but man did they look good! My order was up right away and off I went! Once I had my first sip I thought WOW now this is good coffee! I’m not a HUGE coffee drinker, but I do enjoy it every now and then. Typically once a week. I know… crazy! I drink a lot of tea, but try to switch it up. I will most definitely come back again soon. Looks like they have a lot of cool stuff going on and excited to check it out!

I don’t know what the hype is about. I’ve driven by this place numerous times, and it looked so hipster and it was always crowded. expected way more. bf got the moca latte and it was more so plain hot chocolate. it was ok. not bad, but ok. friend got regular coffee, and it was bland and did not have depth of flavor.(not as bad as instant coffee of course) the worst was mine, iced latte. i swear they have a shot of espresso in a large cup, 9⁄10th filled up with ice and milk. mine was so watered down i just felt like I was drinking diluted milk? I can’t even begin to describe it. it was so bland and almost disgusting when I got home I ended up adding an extra shot of espresso from our espresso machine.(not that it helped, it was still bad. ended up throwing it away after i forced myself to drink more…) never coming back again and will not recommend to people who are avid coffee/espresso lovers. maybe for those hipster people who just like the atmosphere, sure, go on ahead.

I liked the vibe and atmosphere of Jones Coffee Roasters. It’s not as crowded as other coffee shops and it’s relatively easy to find. I’m usually concerned about parking when it comes to finding restaurants/cafes in Pasadena, but Jones Coffee Roasters wasn’t too difficult. There’s a small parking lot, so if you’re fortunate, you’ll be able to score one of the stalls. Other than that, there’s street parking. During my visit, though, there were a few empty stalls so I was relieved. There’s ample seating and the décor is unique. I ordered my iced mocha and was able to find a seat at a nearby table, no problem. And, there are restrooms inside the café … a plus, since I’ve been to coffee shops sans restrooms before. This is a great spot for studying, doing work or just meeting up with friends because of the quieter atmosphere. Jones is definitely a great alternative to a mainstream coffee shop or if you’re in the mood to try something new.

YES! A homey, unique, local, non-chain, coffee house that serves and roasts their own beans! Right when I moved to the area, my quest to find the best coffee in town began. It ended here at Jones. Before I start with the inside, i’ll get all the outside stuff out of the way. Parking is not terrible, although the lot is small there is a back parking lot that is a little tricky to get to. Yes there is no Wi-Fi, but it’s more of a place to enjoy a coffee than to study. Although, I do see people studying every time I go. The capp here is made very nicely. Just the right amount of foam and not too dry, and you get the nice rich flavor of their beans. If you are an espresso drinker, the cappuccino here is a must-try. The menu is relatively simple, which means they are very focused on the flavor of their beans rather than the flavor of their syrups. Although I have tried their flavored lattes and those are pretty good as well. The white chocolate mocha was rich in flavor but it’s not terribly sweet. I like the fact they use Monin for their syrups as I find Monin to be lightly sweet. One thing I do like about this place is that although they roast their own beans and have a standard menu, they absolutely don’t give off that pretentious, coffee snob vibe so feel free to order that vanilla latte(I know you want to). The atmosphere of the place is really cool. It looks like a warehouse inside and slightly 60’s vintage décor? I am not sure how to explain but it looks like they change up the décor every so often so it might be different depending on when you go. But the space is huge and there’s plenty of seating! For all the coffee lovers in the area or visiting the area, Jones is a must.

I have been here several times now and really love the high quality of the drinks, food the cool coffeehouse vibe, and location. The folks at the counter make a great cappuccino, are friendly and know their regulars. I enjoy the artwork and industrial space. If you want to take in more local flavor, I recommend grabbing your coffee and treat and head over to nearby Arlington Gardens to enjoy.

What a cool place! Considering most brew houses have Wifi, I was surprised they didn’t. This is the one aspect that took my experience down to 4 stars, and not 5 stars, which it would have otherwise been deserving of. The crowd consists of a variety of folks, families, study groups, hipsters, and coffee aficionados. The interior made this a pretty interesting place: A chandelier of chairs above you, a huge lit motel Vacancy sign, and house like nooks to enjoy your coffee. WARNING:It was easy to pass by, and the parking is SO limited which was a bit frustrating.

My first 5 star review!!! I was so sad that i didn’t know about this place when my best friend came to visit from NJ! As a designer, décor and the vibe are very important in my view of the place as well as the taste of the coffee and service… They met ALL!!! I love the décor… i love the people who served me today… i loved the«community table» kinds of vibe… my mocha latte was a bit bland, but when i asked, they added more chocolate to make it better… so… no complaining! This will be a place i will bring iut if tiwn guests for sure to impress them!

I love Jones Coffee! It looks like a warehouse, but the interior is very artsy and very unique. It’s a chill spot to hang out and enjoy some solid coffee. There’s some outdoor seating for those nice days when it’s not blazing hot in Pasadena. Coffee: Strong, Good Beans. The cold brew is amazing! Service: Very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee

Main flaw: No Wifi. ATMOSPHERE: Study groups flock here automatically. Majority of the people there the day I went had work, projects, and classes to study for. The no wifi can be a plus to reduce social media distractions. It can help you focus on those things we once knew as textbooks instead of e-books. Took a few sips from my friend’s cold brew. T’was good. Ordinary. Plain & simple. It’s a pretty interesting looking place: A chandelier of chairs above you, a huge lit motel Vacancy sign. But the thing is I like my wifi, Jones. So coffee shops with no wifi just seem a bit out of the ordinary for me. Tons more other coffee shops around Pasadena that also need to be explored! So go to them, Unilocalheads!

This is a great little find of an indie coffee house. I really like the open ambiance inside with the high ceilings and the open front door area. There are original art and a really cool neon sign as décor mounted on the walls. They have seats from sofas to table and chairs as well as a few on the patio for outdoor enjoyment. There’s also a big round table in a separate room that would be great for a group of people. They have a lot of the traditional coffee beverages you can find at a coffee house and obviously as the name states, they roast their own beans here. I’ve been stopping by on my way to work to get their small brewed coffee for $ 1.49 which is just enough to help me kick-start my day! Unfortunately or fortunately, they do not provide free WiFi but that’s okay since it now forces people to actually have a conversation with each other, whoa, scary, lol. I’d definitely check this place out if I were in the area. I know I will be coming back regularly…

When choosing a coffee shop while traveling, I will almost always go with a local in house roaster over some joe selling coffee from another roaster, Most of the local shops seem to be closed the morning we were in town, so we drove a bit out of our way to come here. That decision turned out to be a wise one once we arrived. They have a bit of parking out front in the lot but not much. Once we stepped inside the large roll up door, I could tell from the design of the interior that this place was gonna be different. It’s really well thought out, even if many of the funky items that litter the interior of this warehouse space look like they came from an episode of Junk Masters. The brightly lit neon motel sign in particular caught my eye. Jones Coffee made me one of the best lattes I ever had in LA. Compared to the overpriced and overhyped Intelligentsia, this was better in every conceivable way. There were four shots to a large latte just the way it should be. The latte art was looking nearly as good as the coffee tasted. Not always easy to do with soymilk. Smooth espresso, expertly pulled to perfection at a reasonable price. What more can you want for? When in Pasadena, I won’t need to find a place to grab coffee. I already found that happy place

Five star coffee house located in the industrial area /art college district of pasadena. Totally great interiors and vibe. Eclectic and fun — arty and hip. Great coffee and service. But fresh roasted coffee by the pound with a discount loyalty program as well. Near island barista station in the center of this warehouse type space with concrete floors and funky interiors. Lots of funky and cool artwork for sale that is displayed on the walls throughout the space. Even a piano if one feels like playing plus live music in the evenings. A real cool bohemian feel. Plus a better lit side study area with a community round table. This is a cool coffee house with great coffee. Limited Patio seating also and plenty of parking in its parking lot that is shared with cross training place next door. Good vibe good coffee great service good prices = one of the best in pasadena area.
