Not sure why it took me so long to write a review for VFE. Actually, I lie. I know why it took me soooooooo long to write a review. It’s because I was ashamed to admit I looked forward to a man rubbing on me. But please don’t take that the wrong way. Rich Lorton is that man. All you have to do is point in the area you’re feeling pain or discomfort and his magic hands, elbows and forearms will do the rest. He’ll even explain to you which muscle he’s working on and if it sounds like he’s making it up, he’s not. He actually really does know the different muscles and how they connect. I was having back pain and when I got on the table … He had me lay on my back and all I kept thinking was ’Rich, my back is hurting how you gonna get to my back if I’m laying on it?!?‘ He starting tugging on my psoas … Yes my PSOAS(Google that shit, I did) and it alleviated the pain. At that point I knew Rich was the real deal. Look him up on FB, call or text him. Get on that table. Thank me later. Reasonable pricing for the relief you’ll feel. Don’t be ashamed to feel good being rubbed by Rich. Just don’t get on the table all sweaty … I did and felt really bad but he was really nice about it and didn’t give me a hard time. I’m sure he’s used to it working on athletes who train in MMA, crossfit and runners alike. Love ya Rich!

Every time I’ve gotten recovery work done by Rich, I feel great! As a crossfitter, you’re always pushing your body hard and beyond. Rich’s magic hands has also been critical for preventing injury. Thanks Rich for your services, knowledge and expertise in making me a better athlete!

I’m a serious runner and before working with Rich was constantly fighting strains, stiffness and other issues that I just couldn’t seem to work through on my own. I’d been going to a chiropractor for years and never really felt that I was getting what I was looking for. After a tough race this summer I had some very bad stiffness in my hip(stiffness I’d been fighting for months) and decided that I would try Rich after a recommendation from a runner in my club. With Rich I found somebody who almost exclusively works with athletes(and is one himself) or those who are athletically inclined and«understands me» as hokey as that sounds. I don’t feel the need to explain why I push so hard, why I take so few breaks and why my race schedule is what it is, or what it means to be an athlete. Rich gets it. I’ll come in complaining of some specific pain or issue and Rich will often end up educating me on the source of the issue which usually has nothing to do with what I thought the source of the issue was when I came in. Seriously, I’ll point to one area of my leg or whatever and Rich will point to some totally different area of my body as being the source of the issue. I call him«The Muscle Whisperer». I buy blocks of sessions with Rich which saves me money and is very convenient. Rich is easy to schedule with although he is usually quite busy so plan ahead if you need a very specific time or day. Rich is a great guy and I’d recommend him to anybody who needs a sports massage/trainer who understands what athletes need and can help them achieve their goals.
